I WAS with One Neighbor sometime back
I WAS with One Neighbor sometime back. I quit them, because, when you could bug them enough to keep their appointments, they would finally come out and provide very shoddy work. Tall strips of grass were left standing in the yard, left most areas untrimmed/non-weedeat, the patios and walkways left unblown, etc. Then, when I called in about their shoddy practices, and I got to speak to a very Rude and Crappy Attitude lady on the phone, who obviously was bothered by my call, and who couldn't care any less! Now, THREE DAYS AGO, one of the founders of this sham of a company emailed me, asking me why I left their, so-called, "company", and asked me, if I, "believe in second chances". I immediately responded back to him, and, THREE DAYS LATER, I have yet to hear back from him! Yeah, I guess that co-founder of the company doesn't believe in righting their past wrongs, in order to EARN their, "second chance"!
Other than that, they were great!
Don't waste your time, money, or effort, signing up with those derelict fraudsters!

This is the worst service app ever
This is the worst service app ever. I was told I would have my lawn mowed 21st .no call no show. I contacted them and was promised the service will be provided by 25th of March. But again no call no show. I work from home and the provider has the nerve to lie and say there was no where to park and there was an obstruction. There was Carin the driveway and plenty of parking. Never use this app

So far, so good! I love that there are zero contracts and that the pricing is competitive. The ability to easily access my account, view scheduled appointments, and add services all through an app is a far superior user experience than any lawn care company's website could be.

Worse company ever. Never upgrade and cancel winter service because they will charge you and still cancel the job. Will never use again and wish I could leave 0 stars.

These people are fraudsters
These people are fraudsters. Beware! Since I signed up for the service in the spring, they have overcharged me three times. 01. On one of my mows, they did not mow the back yard (yes, the gate was unlocked). So, they sent someone over two days later to correct it. And charged me again. I asked repeatedly for a refund. Never happened. 02. They charged me for a mow and my lawn was not touched. Even the picture they sent me showed that it wasn't my house. 03. Their website clearly says that the winter/Dec mow is free. So, they mowed, and charged me. I wrote them, and they said that's not what it means. When does "free" not mean "free"? Again, multiple emails asking them to correct it. Never once have they reimbursed me for their mistakes. Or, maybe they weren't really mistakes, it was just an opportunity to rip someone off. Do NOT trust the charlatans.

Scam!!! Stay away from them
I recently try to get the service from oneneighbor and scheduled one in October, however, then I came to know about the service vs what have been advertised.
I called them on Oct 8 to schedule Christmas Light installation and made payment right away. Then I found out they were unable to put me in schedule until the mid-December which was almost a month later then what they explained during the payment. They are really eager to get your credit card info as they planned to charge you regardless of anything. Sounds like once you call them…. You’re trapped!!!
Meantime, my neighbor told me about the company who did installed for them and I reached out to them and was able to schedule the service the following week. Then I called them to cancel the appointment which was almost a month ahead of the appointment. But unfortunately, they said appointment can be cancelled but once they received the payment can’t be refund…. I was like what!!! Nobody came for service and its still a month…
And I never got my payment back from them… they made the money without doing any work as they planned.
Please do not call them for service as they are doing this day robbery and I am recent victim.
Hope this will help you to being robbed from them.

The “business” conduct of these people…
The “business” conduct of these people is borderline criminal. Scheduled a Christmas lights installation, guys shoes up without any notice while I’m at work and few days earlier than the date scheduled, I contact customer service, they claimed they sent me an email but they lied - the email is not in my inbox nor in my junk email nor in the trash which I keep for 2 weeks. Then they claimed they have me rescheduled for today again without a notice so I ask for cancellation, they charged me 75$. These people are THIEVES!!! I’m taking this charge for a dispute with my credit card company. DO NOT use these people, take them out of business. They don’t know that business is!!!

Horrible
1. Never showed up to scheduled day/time. Rescheduled multiple times each week. "Rescheduling" happens by them not showing up, and then messaging you that evening that they will try again tomorrow - no heads up that day that they can't make it.
2. They send new companies each time. You always have to be there to explain what you want to be done.
3. One of the companies they sent broke our yard gate and front yard faucet. They refused to compensate us for the damage unless we got three separate quotes and sent them to assess. We just took care of it.
4. They sent a text at 9 pm about a service being done the next day. We did not need it, we called the next morning as soon as they opened to cancel the service. They said they can't do that without a 24-hour notice?
5. Horrible customer service.

The business is not reliable. I think they may use vendors. They constantly change your service date. They don't edge your yard. They just cut and go for 40 basically.

Things were going well for awhile but…
Things were going well for awhile but then a lawn mower cut off the head of one of my lawn sprinklers two weeks ago. When I brought it up when I found it 4 days after the service they said, "Sorry, we need to be informed within two days of the incident."
I'm only continuing with them for now because the only two sprinkler heads that can hit by mowers are already destroyed. Once I get the sprinklers fixed I will be moving on.

If there was a zero here that’s what…
If there was a zero here that’s what they would get from me. All of the bad reviews here are true. The few good reviews must have been written by OneNeighbor. The work their vendors do could not be worse and the schedule is a joke. They didn’t show up for 3 weeks and then suddenly come twice last week…and i just got a text they are coming again tomorrow! Absolute trash, I’m logging in to cancel now.

Great service and communication. Been using the yard service for several years and no complaints. Just started the dog waste removal and our cleaner did an amazing job.

No way - unless you like wasting your time
Signed up. Scheduled weekly. Was confirmed, including specific costs. First day of service comes. No show. Next day. No show. Note that I had corresponded with them to move the date up (not delay) and they had confirmed the date saying that work loads prevented them moving it up.
