The company has a "professional" website to make you think you're purchasing from a genuine retailer. PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE ANYTHING. THE COMPANY IS A SCAM.
Emails back and forth when you want to process a return and it would seem that it's the same story with every customer on here so far.

Absolutely shameless business practices which need addressing urgently.

Please Please do not buy anything from this company they’re fake I bought a linen shirt i cannot tell what material it’s made from as there is no label to check it is made so bad I have thrown it in bin rather then have the hassle of returning.

I’ve never had such a bad experience with a retailer, the size and quality of the item was awful! I requested for a return but as their return centre was closed. I had to pay £25 per item to return it or receive 10% back! I expressed my concerns about this through multiple emails back and forth as the return policy does not suggest the return centre is closed and I would not receive a full refund and the customer should not be penalised for this but they did not care! I ended up receiving a £7 refund and that’s it! Avoid buying bad customer service and their items are such bad quality and sizes are a mess!

Ordered sandals which they claim to be on sale down from £150 to £40. Absolutely dreadful quality and they don’t fit properly. Quality is dreadful!! Don’t believe the nonsense on their website that they are orthapedic etc etc. Took over two weeks to arrive also.

I ordered sandals from Old Monarchy based on their 30-day return policy. The fit was wrong from day one—the straps couldn’t be adjusted and were unsafe to walk in. I followed their return process, but instead of refunding, they asked for photos, then offered replacements (first for a fee, then free). The style simply doesn’t suit my foot, and I still haven’t received a proper resolution. Wish I’d read the reviews first—very disappointing experience. I would give no stars if able.

Not even 1 star. Just don’t waste your time or money.

I ordered a pair of mens XL linen trousers on 24 July 25. They arrived 11 August 25. I have 3 complaints. 1): I wasn't told that delivery would take over 2 weeks (had I known that they were made in China and would take that long I wouldn't have bought them). 2) I could only just fit them on; in my view they are a slim L or regular M and 3) the quality is poor - the label says "cotton" not "linen" and it's poor quality cotton. I won't be dealing with old Monarchy again.

Literally an absolute nightmare. The clothing item arrived after an incredible amount of time only to show up with missing and broken buttons. The quality is so poor I asked to return the item only to be told by customer service it's not possible. I was offered a paltry 10 percent back. Its simply unacceptable for an item that is a disgrace. I would urge anyone to stay well clear of this company completely

Wish l had read the reviews earlier but that is what late night internet shopping gets you…conned! Terrible clothes, scam artist who want to give you a discount on your next purchase (like you would ever buy from them angain) and even they didn’t want their crappy clothes back!
I keep saying give me all my money back and they lie ALOT.
Avoid, cheap, nasty Chinese company pretending to be based in Holland. Scam artists and con pple.
They need to go to prison.

UPDATE: for anyone who has been scammed. The company is a front for Loek Vergouwe who is a scam artist and advertises on Instagram and TikTok to people about setting up companies. I’ve spoken to the Dutch police as it’s fraud to say returns are EU on website and then lie to say they are in fact China. To report him you need to file a complaint with UK police and then they will refer to Dutch police. I’m also sure he’s not paying Dutch taxes. Loek has a public instagram and TikTok where he shows off about all the money he is making.

Returns NOT allowed, emails to and fro, (LOEK was the contact there) their emails full of lies and deceit.
Would never buy from them again.

Impromptu buy so fell into the trap.

Expect this to happen.
Order clothes you want, delivery atleast 2 weeks. Arrives from China unexpctamtly, clothing quality resembles market sweatshop unlike any of the pictures.
Returns policy
Automated chatbot from someone called Loek who doesn't answer direct questions. You get a sequence of responses offering 10% then 20% all the way up to 40%. They then tell you their returns factory is closed so you need to send it to Asia at 25 euros an item. I have requested a returns label and expect that the last message was the last one i will get from them.

Total waste of your money and time. Total scam and completely uncompliant to EU trading standards. Wide berth needed

A more dishonest company would be impossible to find.
The ‘clothing’ is truly the cheapest weakest possible. The pictures are fake.

They ignore distance selling law, and do not accept returns. They lie and are scammers.

Ordered some shoes sent wrong size offered a part refund but did not refund correct price very faulty company would not recommend to anyone

This website is a scam. The products are nothing like advertised and the prices charged are a complete rip off. The sandals I bought were cheap and poorly made something I would expect to find in a discount bin or just a bin! Stay clear of this unless you want to be ripped off.

My experience is the same as other negative experiences.
Everything is advertised in £'s I was not aware of international returns.
I will make trading standards aware.

Terrible. Goods are awful quality, delivery takes weeks to arrive, and they do not seem to have any facility to return items despite them advertising ‘Easy returns’ on their website. I’m still awaiting a refund and have reported the company. Do not buy anything from this company.
