Ordered a roof light £429 over 6 weeks ago still have t received , Steve doesn’t answer emails . To not shop on this conman’s web page . Reporting to trading standards

Part 2 of my order arrive today. Again - fast and efficient.

I placed an order back in June 2022 for next day delivery and nothing has arrived. I've tried phoning, messages and email and have had no reply.
Its either a scam website or maybe it started as a legitimate website and gone down hill. Looking at the other bad reviews looks like they have had the same experience I'vehad.
The good reviews look very suspicious to me.
My suggestion is to avoid this website /shop.

Just don't order from these people. All items shown in stock (its not hard to have stock management on a Woocommerce backed shop if not available) Absolutley no contact is possible either phone, email, facebook, text or live chat from "Steve". DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I've had to go the Consumer Contracts route to try and cancel my still processing order. My advice, just go to 12vplanet, cheaper, next day free delivery. I thought id give someone else a chance, you live and learn.

As with the other negative reviews of this company, I have not received what I paid for and get no response to emails or phone calls.

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever received and I am now passing this on to trading standards.

I’m happy to change this review if Steve ever gets back to me and set things right.

Ordered a relay so my leisure battery could recharge, ticked the 2-3 day delivery option, nothing delivered in 8 days, trip no. 1 without power, emailed and was told they would send another one out still nothing and trip no. 2 without power. Asking for my money back to go somewhere who can deliver. Not much to ask.

Very impressed. Nice speedy delivery, well packaged and all in good working order. Would recommend and return for more if needed.

Great service, was happy with dealing with the owner and have became a repeat customer. I couldn't find a couple of things on their website but a couple of emails later he managed to source the parts for me.

Order 1 was a 170w solar panel.

Order 2 was cables, glands.

I don't particularly like leaving negative reviews but I think that people need to be warned about the pitfalls of buying from this professional-looking site.

Buying solar panels from Off Grid Camper was a bad experience because:

1) The products advertised were not available but money was taken anyway.

2) Comms from the seller were terrible. No order confirmation, no follow-up to explain that products were out of stock, none of the follow-up actions the seller promised were ever taken. Everything had to be chased multiple times by me and I generally waited days for a response.

After 2 months I have got my money back in full but it was a pain.

If you are thinking of buying from this site, beware!

Although the item took longer than expected to arrive Steve was very good in keeping me up to date with the delivery details. Due to bank holiday he ordered direct from supplier to deliver direct so delivery was outside his control.

Good, fast communication. They didn't have the panel I wanted so they sent me a better one instead. It arrived quickly and well packaged. Excellent customer service. Thanks a lot.

Spoke to Steve who was really helpful at first, put my order in and all seemed fine.

First my battery was swopped for another brand without being asked, however i was told like for like so left it at that,

Then I received a £10 charger 2.1a instead of 4.8a blue seas charger £40 and also a dimmer remote instead of a dimmer switch,

Called Steve who said he would send out the correct ones, so left it with him to sort. Two weeks after nothing was received so I called and messaged for an update.

From this point on he went ghost, he also answered the phone to another mobile and stated that he couldn't hear us and the signal was bad,

He later had read my Facebook messages and even weeks after to this day he's never got in contact with me about my mis-sold goods.

Terrible customer service and dodgy seller.

Where do I start, Steve is an absolute wizard with electrics and has been nothing but professional and helpful all the way through the installation of my electrical system. I've got a Citroen Relay which I'm mid way through converting out. I initially wanted to do everything myself but when I realised how lacking I was on the electrical knowledge front I thought it wise to outsource it and I'm beyond stoked that I found Steve at Off-Grid Camper. I took the van in last Friday and got it back a few days later with the full Victron installation. I wish I could attach photos on here to show you what it looks like because it's incredibly tidy and looks the absolute bits! I got home last night still with plenty of questions, which Steve has been more than helpful in answering. I also realised I needed some more wires this morning so he has very kindly put in an order for me on 12V Planet for all of the correct bits.
All in all I'm a very very happy customer thanks to Steve's knowledge, professionalism and all round great bloke to work with. I can't sing his praises enough so if you're on the hunt for an electrical system installation or any other installation part of your build then look no further!
