Oakdale Dental Omdömen 

I have used Oakdale for over three years now and find the whole experience - booking an appointment, on-site customer service, treatments and aftercare - pleasant, reliable and relaxing. Whilst more expensive than NHS care, the experience and pleasant environment make it worthwhile, especially if someone is nervous about receiving dental care. Everything is fully explained to the customer and there is no pressure put on anyone to opt for particular treatments. It is important to keep up to date with oral health and dental care and I 100% recommend Oakdale.

10/10 service….everyone is kind and professional…I used to be so
nervous but they’re amazingly patient with me so I’m not as nervous as I used to be due to how good they are. Definitely a good private dental practice which i would recommend

My experience as follows ….
I recently spent a couple of hours having a new crown and a wisdom tooth extracted with the wonderful Harv at oakdale dental. My experience as ever was great .Harv has been looking after me for about 3 years now. Honestly my teeth are completely transformed. He is gentle,caring and always just so lovely.
The practice is great , all staff are very professional and friendly. I would 100% recommend to anyone.

I was registered with this practice and even had surgery here in 2019 under the NHS. When I called today to arrange treatment, I was told that because I hadn’t attended the practice for a long time, they could no longer treat me under the NHS. Instead, the conversation quickly turned into repeatedly encouraging me to book a private appointment.

The message was clear: if I paid privately, the dentist would be happy to see me, but not under the NHS. It felt like patient care came second to generating private fees. As someone who had previously been treated here, this was incredibly disappointing and left me feeling abandoned rather than supported.

If this is how long-standing NHS patients are treated, then the practice seriously needs to rethink its priorities. A truly disappointing experience and one I would not recommend.

Today I had a cerac fitted instead of a crown at Oakdale Dental by Dr Patel. The whole experience was very calm, professional and painless. The dental nurses Chloe and Megan were very supportive and reassuring. Oakdale’s environment is tastefully designed, welcoming and client centred. Would strongly recommend the practice

Excellent service as ever! Absolutely trustworthy. No need to suffer from any toothache or sore gums. Have been getting help for years; never let down, not once. It doesn't matter if you have a planned visit, a pre-booked appointment or an urgent case. You will get excellent service immediately. I came this morning without any appointment, having an unexpected and unknown pain, without any visible signs of what could be wrong. I left the practice 2 hours later, without any pain. I had an emergency appointment immediately (for the consultation, assessment, X-ray, problem evaluation and possible treatment options). I've been offered and had a 2nd appointment in an hour - this time for treatment. As my regular dentist was off, I've been booked in anyway, just with a different dentist. Today I have been seeing Dr Harvinder S Chalal (I met him before and got help on a couple of occasions). I knew I would be in safe hands; however, I would be absolutely relaxed seeing any other dentist in this practice, as all of them are top-level professionals and lovely people as well. But today I would pass my thanks personally to Dr Harv., as for assessment and explanation, as for medical intervention later! Thank you for the time frame as well; everything was sorted out quickly and perfectly! I am grateful for painless treatment and for the "pain-free" outcome. And I would like to thank a beautiful dental nurse, Keira (I hope it's the right name), for being so nice and helpful today. And, as always, many thanks to the reception staff - all the girls are very kind, polite and attentive. All of them are exceptionally caring and try to help you ASAP!

My mother has received great service & results from Dr Alif and the team there since we first discovered the practice in the last 2 years. In her 70s she's had multiple issues with her teeth so saved on total visits with the surgery's on the day ability to produce accurately fitted crowns so making life much easier.
Dr Alif has been great as he has always been very dedicated and a perfectionist in his work 👌. The full team there have always been excellent.

I was astounded that when I asked at reception on arrival if they had a toothbrush I could possibly use prior to my appointment ,as I had just eaten, they told me it would cost me £5.00! Bearing in mind I was about to spend almost £700 at todays appointment & I had in the past spent in the region of £7000K with them I was astonished at the audacity.
Dr Gurpal Hayer is unquestionably the best ever dentist I have been to & I am now 69 years old. His dedication to ensuring I was fully aware of every stage of the treatment. He put me at ease, he was understanding of my trepidation & was so gentle with me praising me & so patient. I cannot recommend him highly enough. His latest assistant Chloe was friendly & effective.
I hope the owners might consider that not many customers will ask for a toothbrush, maybe 6 a year so at their prices £5.00 per brush thats only a cost of £30 annually. On previous visits I have been offered bags of popcorn in pretty cartons, recipes cards of the day on attractive cards & other irrelevant 'stuff' for free but ask for toothbrush at this dentist & expect to be charged! (I had picked up my own toothpaste from home & I did not want to carry my electric toothbrush with me to the surgery hence my request as I wanted to have clean teeth before my treatment)

I have attended Oakdale Dental for several years and they never fail to amaze me. I telephoned on Wednesday pm regarding a problem with my upper bridge and was seen by Dr Alif and his lovely nurse Sanaa the next morning. As always their professional, friendly, caring manner put me at ease and a solution was found to allow me to keep on smiling. 😊 The whole team, dentists, hygienists, reception staff all go above and beyond to make sure a visit to Oakdale is the best it can be and I have no hesitation in giving them a 5 star recommendation.

Oakdale is a really wonderful dental practice, the staff are wonderful and the treatment equally so.
If dentistry sends shivers up your spine then you must visit these guys, they deliver on every front.
We are about to introduce my seven month old granddaughter to Harvinder with her two tiny teeth, she will grow up knowing there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of where teeth are concerned.

Our adult daughter has just had tooth whitening with Dr Harv. He was brilliant, clearly explained the process and guided her through with regular checkups. She has had a brilliant result already, and still has a vial and a half of the whitening gel left to go. Would highly recommend!

Always a pleasure to visit Oakdale. All the staff are so friendly and professional from reception, dental nurses, hygienist and dentist. I have been a patient for many years and would highly recommend this practice.

This is a dental practice like no other! Super friendly, professional, efficient, young team who give confidence and provide a terrific service, both cosmetic dentistry and routine treatment. My teeth are so much better looking and healthy since straightening and whitening; and when once I had an urgent problem they were so caring and got me back on track quickly. The premises are great too, with comfortable waiting areas, soft music and scent in the air! I would thoroughly recommend this dental practice.
