I do not recommend this service

I do not recommend this service based on my experience.
The certified document I initially received contained a clear error (incorrect date: 2028 instead of 2018), which made it unusable. I reported this on April 3rd.
I then sent multiple follow-up emails (April 9th, 13th, and 15th) without receiving any timely response. I was later told via WhatsApp that their emails were not being delivered due to a server issue on their side, but this was never proactively communicated to me.
Communication moved to WhatsApp, where I was informed on April 15th that the corrected documents would be resent. As of April 17th, this had still not happened.
Overall, this involved a material error, lack of response to repeated follow-ups, and failure to meet a stated deadline. The service was not reliable and caused unnecessary delays.
I have requested a full refund and am currently awaiting resolution.

Still attempting to receive a full…

Still attempting to receive a full refund for services not rendered. All paperwork submitted and accepted by NotaryOnline. But no refund after almost one month. Avoid this company and its poor service. They have no conception of how a company should deal with clients, nor any idea of professionalism. I suppose the next step is legal intervention.

No timely feedback

I'm changing my review as the company refunded me.

Paid for notarization service online and uploaded documents on 29 Dec 2025. A week later we still haven't heard from them and thus we asked for a refund. We had a deadline from AIMA to provide a notarised document. However, this email/request also went unanswered. Until I posted a bad review here, as I thought it was a scam.

After the company's response on my review, we emailed a refund request again, which was honoured. If you only have a week or two to get a document notarised, I would not advise using this company. And I would advise following up with them daily otherwise your request could get lost.

NISS APPLICATION SCAM

On 8th January, I ordered NISS through notaryonline.pt and paid 109 euro. I received an email that mentioned "We’ll send you a secure link to verify your identity and upload the required documents. " But I never received the link, I believed it was a scam . So I would like to send a message to everyone: don't become a fool like me and get scammed by them. I also requested a refund but they never replied to my email.

Completely missed my deadline because of them

I had a strict deadline for my documents to be done.

Sara told me they were easy to obtain and could do it within days.

3 weeks have gone by, I have fully MISSED my deadline, with no update and no refund.

Worst part is, I have multiple friends needing to do the NHR tax regime, and would have gladly referred all of them to this agency, had they done a good job...

Do not recommend at all.

NÃO CUMPREM O QUE PROMETEM - FALTA DE COMPROMETIMENTO

Eu fiz uma solicitação de uma tradução certificada simples no dia 25/09 de 2025, efetuei o pagamento.

No dia 28/09 enviei um e-mail questionando algum parecer, pois não havia recebido nenhuma confirmação sequer.

No dia 01/10 recebo a resposta de que o documento estava pronto, mas que para ser liberado seria necessário uma cópia do meu passaporte, ou seja, se eu não tivesse enviado um e-mail cobrando um parecer, possivelmente estaria sem a cópia digital até hoje.

Hoje, dia 15/10 - 20 dias depois após inúmeros contatos por e-mail, ainda não recebi o documento original físico no endereço que foi passado. Estou com um processo pendente que exige extrema urgência, e não objetive nenhum retorno da empresa.

NÃO RECOMENDO! Falta de comprometimento, falta de atenção com o cliente, eles não se importam em cumprir prazos e não respondem e-mail. Estou muito aflita por que a falta desse documento pode fazer com que eu perca todo o meu processo até agora. Um absurdo uma empresa prestar serviços dessa forma.

Hoje, dia 03-11 Quase 1 mês e meio depois, sigo sem nenhum parecer da empresa. NÃO RESPONDEM E-MAILS, e não dão nenhum parecer sobre o documento. Eu acabei de perder o processo de nacionalidade todo que havia iniciado por falta desse documento, e entrarei com um processo judicial contra essa empresa.

Service not delivered after 2 months - unresponsive to refund request

I purchased the remote bank account opening service on July 24th. It has been almost 2 months now and I still have not received it. They have been very slow in their communication with me - I had to hound them for any updates and still they were vague and dismissive most of the time. 7 weeks ago I asked for proof of payment/receipt and they said they would send it. Never did.

I've now requested a full refund from them and I still have not received a response.

Overall

Overall, their service is good, but I would like to detail the experience:

Service they offered:
I asked them for the NIF and the password of the portal. Their service of NIF was fast (48 hours approx.), and the password of the tax portal took 16 days, which they mentioned that they are trying their best to expedite the process, as these matters are not directly within their control, which I think is true.

Communication:
To be honest, I was sending many emails cuz I had an issue with timing but they had some delay in the communication, and sometimes replied after a long time.
After they offered me the NIF service, they stopped replying to my emails, even if I emailed them more than 4 times for another service.
Yes, they finalized the service I asked yet to not repling is a strange way to manage their client.

Overall:
- I liked my experience with NotaryOnline.
- If they manage their communication in more active ways and add additional means of communication like WhatsApp, Online Chat, etc, they would be a great service provider.
- I'm working as a consultant and speaking form my own experience believes. They have to manage their clients without personalizing their work.

Notaryonline.pt is a scam!

After making the payment I never heard anything from Notaryonline.pt again. I tried contacting them through their chat and free consultation services but I got nothing. There are no contact numbers on their webpage, which should have been a red flag to me straight away! Notaryonline.pt is a scam!!

Update: As you can see below, Notaryonline.pt replied to my review, blaming "technical failures and payment processing errors" for the issues. They claim to have immediately issued a full refund. However, after 5 days, I'm still waiting, and I seriously doubt I'll ever see it. Let's be clear: Notaryonline.pt is a scam!

Update 2: It's been 18 days since I was promised a full refund. I'm still waiting! Do not have anything to do with this company because they will steal your money!

Great service

Great service. I was a bit stressed to use them at first because of the lack of review online actually 😅 so I messaged them on Instagram and I got on the phone with Sara because I wanted to make sure. And that’s why I’m leaving this review, so people know it’s a legit business. They processed my request in 24h, super fast and good. I recommend them :)
