Last night, 12/16/2025, I was very disappointed with my experience at this store.
I was looking for hosiery and asked a staff member who was restocking if they carried thigh-high tights. The associate responded with visible irritation, looked at me as though I was inconveniencing her, and handed me knee-high tights in a dismissive manner while saying, “Is this it?” I clarified that I was looking for thigh-highs, not knee-highs. Rather than engaging further, I chose to walk away.
When I reached the checkout area, there were only two employees present. One was assisting a customer with an issue that ended up taking approximately thirty minutes to resolve. The other cashier was juggling a long line, around seven customers, while also helping someone who had returned to the store to have a security tag removed from their purchase.
Eventually, the associate handling the unresolved issue asked for help from a manager, Joey. I assumed this was to assist with ringing up customers and reducing the growing line. Instead, the associate explained she was unable to provide a gift receipt despite trying multiple solutions. Joey, the same manager who had been dismissive during my hosiery inquiry, responded rudely to her employee, gave her an unpleasant look, and instructed her to repeat steps she had already attempted. Rather than stepping in to resolve the issue herself, Joey walked away entirely.
As a customer, this was shocking to witness. The associate had been trying to resolve the issue for thirty minutes, and as management made no effort to take over, support their employee, or acknowledge the long line of customers who had been waiting patiently. Instead, the associate was left to try the same unsuccessful steps at multiple registers.
Management showed no awareness of the situation on the floor, no urgency to assist customers who had been waiting for an extended period, and no respect toward their own staff. Especially during a busy weekday evening and the holiday season, this lack of leadership and efficiency was unacceptable.
Nordstrom Rack, effective management should be able to read the room, support employees, and keep the store running smoothly. Experiences like this negatively affect not only customers but also staff morale, and ultimately reflect poorly on the company as a whole.
Every single time I order a product on…
Every single time I order a product on their nordstromrack.com they forget to send me an email. My order says it will be in store by (date) and then a few days before that date I get an email telling me they have issued a refund. No emails notifying me that my order is available for pickup. No messages. Nothing. Also, they charge $10 to ship your order to a local store and do not refund a shipping fee when they process a refund. Absolutely atrocious service. Zero stars. Do not recommend.
I went to make a return
I went to make a return, and a lady with purple-coloured hair was not only rude but also aggressive towards me. One of the items did not have a tag (as sometimes they send items without tags), and she told me with very bad energy that "next time I bring an item without not tag, they will not accept a return." By the way, those trousers arrived on the same day as my return. She sounded like she was accusing me of something! I told her that then, next time, they should send items with the tags attached, and she said she is not responsible for that and it is just telling me the store policies! I said - I received them like that - then she threw back my previous items she had processed and yelled- moving her body and head negatively, saying, "I will not help you! Go to someone else!" I started shaking, not understanding why I was being treated this way. I never return items without tags or used if that is what she means... I will never abuse the system. The item was sent to me without a tag!. She was clearly upset and tired, as she didn’t even say hello to me, as the other cashiers do. I am still in shock about the situation. Went out shaking. Had to wait to drive away. I asked to be given her name so I could call the manager, but I was unable to get it. I hope they review the video and see how she treated me. These people are so unhappy in their jobs. They should seek more fulfilling roles so they don't take it out on us, the customers.
Terrible customer service
Their customer service is absolutely terrible! I placed an order that I was sending as a Christmas gift to a family member within an hour. I realize that I had the wrong address. I immediately contacted them to get the address changed. They told me that they’re no longer able to change the address or even cancel the order.
I had to then reach out to the actual delivery service and try to change it that way.
Wouldn’t recommend purchasing from them online because you can’t cancel orders, even if you reach out within an hour, which is ridiculous
Never(!) shop at Nordstrom Rack
Never(!) shop at Nordstrom Rack! I ordered a shirt that came with the SECURITY SENSOR STILL ATTACHED! Called customer service and since the shirt was sold out, he suggested only option was to return it. I did, and they received it fairly promptly, BUT they charge $10 for return shipping and another $10 for return processing. NEVER AGAIN will I shop with Nordstrom Rack - and even taints the entire Nordstrom store. Bunch of crooks!
Made a purchase online
Made a purchase online, applied all the notes and the promo code. The system automatically processed the order without confirming my address or payment method and it removed all my notes and discount code. How convenient for the Nordstrom! The customer service rep did not help at all. I asked for a supervisor and Supervisor Julie promised to help adjusting the price after my items are shipped. I would be surprised if she will do it. What happened to customer service in the United States? 30 years ago it was true customer service people working and now it’s just a hassle everywhere. Maybe because they are Employer people from overseas. There is no quality anymore.

order something it was in stock but receive notice after a week saying it's out of stock. order another item. i click cancel because it was an order created by mistake. but nothing happened. now it's shipped and i have to do a return. customer service did nothing to stop shipment.

Went to Nordstrom Rack in Coral Way in Miamk to return candles I had bought and was told that candles belong to the beauty section and beauty items were not returnable. The manager, who was extremely rude, said continued to point to the return policy up on the wall and I kept asking her where in it did it say that candles belonged to beauty and beauty was not returnable. Obviously nothing was written there, the receipt didn’t say they were final sale and no one cared to mention it when I bought them. I am well in my 30’day return window and now am stuck with candles I do not want to.
I have been a loyal Nordstrom customer since 2016 and will never shop there again. It is sad because they used to care about their customers and how people were treated. Appalling behavior by a major brand.
Security alarm still on purse
Ordered online and received both purses (supposedly $188 value each) just thrown in a polybag with no protection. One purse still had the security alarm on, so I now have to go in store to get that removed. I've ordered online in the past, and things were packed with care but they've clearly gotten lazy.

Late delivery, products out of stock, etc. For products suddenly going out of stock after a purchase, how about giving at least a discount code for future orders? What a manure hole
I do not shop at Nordstrom. However, my mom today asked me to go to Nordstrom and pay her credit card bill. Today was my first ever visit to Nordstrom Rack, and it was also the LAST time I will ever go there. The place is nasty.
So I come in. Huge line, 2 cashiers are working, 4 more are standing next to them, telling jokes and yapping. GREAT first impression. After I pointed out the side of line, they all went to work, but they had an attitide as if they are doing US a favor by taking our money. It was plainly written on their faces and concieted, dismissive tone of their speech. Finally my turn comes and I give money to the cashier. I tell the cashier that my mom spent 50 dollars at nordstrom rack with their card. NEVER received a statement, and today received a letter that her bill is past due, and she has a $40 penalty. My mom is 78 years old, now has bronchitus so she could not come to the store, but she called the number in the letter, and they told her to go to the store, saying "The store can take care of everything".
The cashier told me that she can't take the late fee off, I called my mom, and she told me to pay just the original amount. Which I did, I gave the cashier $100. She took it and... refused to give me any change saying "The cash register won't let me give you any change". I called for store manager. A manager name Heidi (Heidi -HO?), showed up. She showed the cashier how to give change. The cashier didn't even know how to give someone change from cash register. Great training, guys. BTW, the cashier wore NO name tag and REFUSED to give me her name.
Manager also tells me that there is nothing she can do about late fee, and my mom should call back the credit card, the same people who told us to go to the store and that store can take care of everything.
When I asked for a phone number of DISTRICT manager, that manager Heidi (ho?), REFUSED to give it to me, claiming that she, one of the managers in the store does NOT know the phone number of the district manager, does NOT know his email, and doesn't even know their name. I asked her if her District Manager is called Pokahantos, because, obviously, they communicate with smoke signals.
That manager, Heidi, told me to come back in, when the store manager will be on duty, or to call the store manager. When I asked when the store manager is usually in, she refused to give me that info.
She then attacked my mom, telling me that my mom is an adult, and she should take care of her bill, and probably she just set the bills to come electronically and forgot about it, after all, Heidi said, your mom is 78 and she could have forgotten.
So there you have it. Store where 2/3 of cashiers joke around rather than work. Where cashiers do NOT know how to give back change. Where manager does NOT know the phone number or email of the district manager. When you are told to talk to the store manager, but then they refuse to tell you when she will be in, and when they will blame YOUR ELDERLY MOTHER because their credit card didn't sent your mom a statement. Meantime they will hit you with $40 late fee. Those witches with a "b" are rude, obnoxious, dishonest schysters who prey on the elderly. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS MANURE HOLE AS YOU CAN. They should change the name form Nordstrom Rack to Nordstrom Drek (Drek in German means "CRAP") STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. HEIDI is utterly rude and unprofessional manager.

Your website is terrible. I scrolled through over 50 items that I liked only to find they are out of stock with no way to filter only AVAILABLE items. Waste of my time.

I didn't receive my order
I didn't receive my order, it was returned to the sender. They sat on it for 2 week with no notification or refund. I called, the lady helped me but charged me $10 to research my order. Instead of refunding my money back, they recharged my card for my order. I am not going to buy anything from this company again.
Absolutely awful customer service
Absolutely awful customer service. I never received a few items I ordered and I have contacted customer service several times who said no problem we will refund you annd then I get ann email that they are rejecting my request for a refund. DO NOT order from here. Awful company.
I ordered 2 pairs of Nikes in September…
I ordered 2 pairs of Nikes in September for my daughter. They showed They were delivered. After checking my cameras, They were not. Nordstrom cxld & refunded my order. I ordered again this time I had it delivered to the store instead. They notified me when one item came in. I was still waiting for the other 2 items. Then they canceled & refunded the whole order because it wasn't picked up. Customer service said the whole order had been at the store. If I'd known the whole order was ready, I'd have gone to the store. They acknowledged it was their mistake but asked me to order again, the 3rd time to get my items. What?! No. That's crazy. I'll take my hard earned $ somewhere else after years of patronage. So will the rest of my hard working tax paying household.
Awful shipping
Do yourself a favor and do not choose their free delivery option. They use some last mile independent company that has postponed to deliver my package 3 times! Just choose their express option with a private shipping company or pick it up yourself because otherwise it will take ages to actually receive it.
Edit: Oh for returning it's okay to use FedEx and charge me almost $10 for a shipping label of course. I couldn't get a normal shipping company like who cares right?

Great experience and good offers. However, the store has a different pricing than online sometimes, I know you guys match the online price, but also make sure deliveries are faster even when you pay over 150$ for an order.
NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN
So earlier today, I purchased a pair of UGGs, probably six hours ago for in-store pick up in Langhorne Pa, when my boyfriend went to pick them up. They weren’t ready. When I purchased them, they said they were in store so I called the store and asked the customer Service rep if they had my shoes in store, they said yes, except for some reason my shoes were being delivered from another store. If you were confused imagine my confusion, so I asked for a manager who proceeded to tell me the exact same thing I was told the only resolution would be to purchased the exact same Ugg’s from the store. I ordered them from re-buy them come back when my other UGGs got delivered to the store and returned them for my refund???? I will never purchase from this store again no one tried to help. No one had any solutions, including the manager who I spoke to, who’s solution was to re-buy comeback get a refund smh unbelievable!
