What I liked about Nisai is that in classes we sometimes have a presentation. I can communicate with my classmates and teacher more and I can deeply understand on the topic because we need to search about the things we didn't learn in the class. Also, Nisai has helped me type words faster on keyboard.

My son has ADHD, so he has had difficulties with learning, such as being easily distracted by surrounding sounds and everything he sees, making it hard for him to concentrate. Nisai's system doesn't display faces on the screen, so it seems to be an environment where my son can concentrate better. He finds it fun to connect directly with friends both domestically and internationally through chat, and he seems to be overcoming even the difficulty of not being able to understand beginner-level English. As a parent, I am very happy to see him taking lessons without getting bored. In the past, whenever he tried something, he was often unable to learn or succeed due to his characteristics, but through learning English with Nisai, he has gained confidence that he can do it for the first time. Nisai, which provides such a learning environment, is very special to our family. Thank you to the teachers and everyone in charge of the school!

We have only had positive experiences with Nisai. Our son had not been in formal education for 3 years before he started with Nisai this September. We couldn't have asked for a more professional, caring, flexible team that respond to all correspondence, questions and concerns in a detailed way. It is clear that all members of staff care about the students and will adapt to their complex needs in the best way they can. The admin team have also been super helpful and will go above an beyond to answer any questions.
We look forward to continuing with Nisai for as long as our son needs support

This company was suggested as a mentoring provider for my daughter
The initial phone call from the senior manager was fabulous
Sadly when visited at home by a derby located manager i was appalled. The manager kept saying we do it this way and our students do it that way , also couldn't provide any further than 4 miles from home for social skills due to the cost !! . My daughter required a mentor and provider who met her needs not the other way round. Very disappointing and would avoid

The customer service is so awful - they refuse to remove the completed assignments from the assignment list because they would rather keep them.

Also the lessons are so incredibly short - 30 minutes is not enough for the lessons especially GCSE Maths where its 30 minutes, also it’s not good idea that the maths live lessons should be in the morning especially I don’t like waking up in the morning.

I would prefer if the live lessons were an afternoon time and completed assignments from other subjects to be removed from the assignment system.

Also I wasn’t given the weekly assignment for GCSE Maths on the 27th February 2026 which makes me sad.

My maths assignments weren’t even marked yet, why is this?

UPDATE: I totally disagree with this business’ reply the completed assignments should be removed as I want them removed apart from the maths subject so please change your mind up!!!

Pros
- Well-structured lessons are taught
- The student support team is very quick in response and has always helped me with every qualm and situation
- Some of the teachers are highly capable and experienced with the subject matter for IGCSEs - Like Ms. Zirah Daud and Mr. Kelvin Ang

Cons
- Some teachers lack experience and are unaware of how to teach the IGCSE curriculum and how to write answers in the exams.
- As I was a nontraditional student, I was given a lot of restrictions due to age, which seems reasonable to conduct an international company with minor students, but due to this, I couldn't experience most components other than studies and at times felt discriminated and lonely (which I understand came from protection and following the essential GDPR guidelines). It was just quite dismaying for my part only, but most students will not experience it, and the team and teachers were actually really supportive to me.

Overall, it was a very enriching experience and I would recommend Nisai to every student with every need.

After years of not being able to access education our daughter has finally completed almost a full year of functional skills and is absolutely flying!
From the initial visit with her mentor and manager they showed an understanding that we had been longing for and this still continues today.
Our daughter now logs in and engages in lessons more than she ever has and is making great progress in her lessons.
She has a fantastic mentor who is amazing and supportive, not only in her education, but whole life as well and she looks forward to her visits every week.
I think that more variety of subjects is something that would be beneficial. Courses such as photography or cookery would probably be difficult online but certainly something we would be interested in.
Having access to Nisai has been life changing in our household. Not just for our daughter but also for us as parents. Thank you!

My son literally hated being in a school environment, his anxiety levels were so high he would suffer physically with headaches, sickness, anxiety attacks etc and wouldn't talk to his teachers. He has now been with Nisai for one year (started in year 10) and has moved up a level, engages with his mentor and talks privately to his teachers and emails them without any issues. I cannot praise Nisai enough.

The short lessons are good. Flexibility and understanding when sessions are missed - plus hopefully a later schedule for next year.
The support sessions are brilliant - support is as needed and enables the work to be attempted.

Expectations for work could be more clear and precise, Feedback needs to be relevant to the expectations - were they met or not? Give an example of what might have got more marks and explain how.

100% support from mentor Jamie and teachers one step at a time at my pace everything explained till I understand has helped me greatly with confidence ,looking forward to seeing you in September. 👍

NISAI from the start of my daughter’s journey with them has been fantastic. The teachers are very supportive and listen to feedback throughout. NISAI have understood my daughter’s needs and catered to them in every way. My daughter’s progress with her learning since joining NISAI has been amazing. I can’t thank them enough for everything they do and continue to do with my daughters learning and support. My worker was called Angela. She really encouraged me ro better myself in maths and English. I had lessons on line due to my autisum and adhd. We also did lesson about everday life and learning basic skills like cooking . I never used to leave the house . Since being with nisai I am now prepared for collage and the rest of my future

The classes are small and ideal for students that require smaller class sizes and struggle with social anxiety. My son’s mentor who comes to our home to offer support is absolutely amazing and understands his needs and wishes so well.
There’s flexibility with appointments and the ability to watch recordings of the lessons when needed.

It truly is the best move my son made to receive a quality education and learn life skills.

Due to unforeseen circumstances my son had to move to a different form of education, my son had autism as finds lots of noise and people difficult and Nisai has provided him with such amazing schooling, that he has gone from getting upset at attending lessons to now getting 100% on homework and his attendance has gone through the roof. This education style suits him so much and still allows him to interact with the teacher and other students. I’m so pleased that is education style is an option for him. His key worker is brilliant and offers so much advice and help to ensure he can excel.

My son studied for 4 years in Nisai, from his IGCSEs to his A Levels, and they were some of our most enjoyable years of schooling. Nisai's teachers were highly qualified and incredibly engaging for him, with assignments being focused and easy to turn in. The support staff at Nisai were equally brilliant, helping us through fee payments, exam registrations, and general progress updates and answers.

So far, Nisai's student support team has been incredibly helpful in sharing important information. They’re always super quick to respond whenever we need anything, especially when it comes to our child’s lesson schedule. Every request or question is handled promptly and professionally, and their communication feels personal and supportive. We truly appreciate their responsiveness and dedication. Thank you, Nisai, and hope you continue this great level of service!

Nisai Virtual Academy have been a brilliant alternative education provider when our son was too ill to attend a mainstream school. The teaching was flexible with extra support when required. Nisai also promotes inclusion for all pupils, which is so important when an illness already causes isolation during formative years. Nisai suported us as parents, too, when it came time to registering for exams. Our son was able to achieve the qualifications he needed to move on and go to college, which is what he wanted. It was absolutley brilliant so watch him achieve so much with the help of Nisai. Thank you - we will always be grateful to the whole staff team at Nisai for their care and support.

Feedback: excellent school especially for my daughter who has Contamination OCD, ASC, depression and anxiety. Nisai has enabled her to continue her education and undertake GCSEs last year ( Eng / Maths) and Hosyory and Business Studies this year. Really helpful that it's online and can be done at home with or without the camera. E uses the private chat, but not public but it means she can ask and answer questions, give abd receive feedback in a way she feels safe.
The support team are brilliant re chasing up attendance and assignments - always done in a positive how can we help way. Nisai is an invaluable option for the education of some children who would otherwise be excluded, become NEET and miss the opportunity to achieve their potential due to their illnesses, or neurodiversity. Long may ot continue.

Experience at Nisai:
Our daughter was fully supported by Nisai & was effective when requested.
Any communication issues were as a result of our daughter’s reluctance to communicate, however this has improved in time as her confidence has increased.
She has enjoyed her time with Nisai who are achieving positive outcomes with her education & as parents we feel that her educational needs have been met; a typical example being the arranging of her examination needs.
