We’ve used Nick Bailey a number of times over the past few years for tree felling and pruning in our back garden after previous using different tree surgeons. We have always found them to be helpful and reliable, from answering the phone, to visiting to quote, to doing the work. Will be using again next year and would recommend.

We had Nick and his team at our property for the 2nd time last week,once again a fantastic team who sorted our trees out with no fuss.

Nick Bailey, Tom his site manager were brilliant when instructed to Top, Trim and shape 5 of our huge trees. They also reduced the very high and large conifers approx. 100m in length. They reduced these by about 8-10m.
All the team was very helpful and they ensured that we suffered no inconvenience. Left our garden neat and tidy.
Highly recommended.

I have just had two fir trees lowered and the ivy stripped from them by this company. I cannot recommend them enough. The work was done quickly and the result excellent. They left the area clean and tidy not a leaf or twig left to show what had been a mass of foliage on the floor

Would recommend without reservation

Really cannot fault the service. Work done to really high standard, as agreed and finished more quickly than had initially been suggested. Garden was tidier when they left than when they arrived. Pricing was competitive with other tree surgeons I have used. Excellent.

Our garden has been transformed with a substantial yet sympathetic pruning and re-shaping of our 90 year old Copper Beech tree. The team were ready to go at 08:00am and had finished the work by lunchtime - and left the garden spotless too. highly recommended, we will certainly use Nick again

The team turned up on time, very polite and well organised. They were efficient and clearly knew their stuff! They cut down 7 huge conifers from our back garden, cut down a very old tree stump, and pruned a tree at the front of our house. All the work was done well, all the branches etc chipped and any other remnants cleared away. The back garden looks so much better now - it's like we've had an extension of about 6-7 feet added to the end! :-) the pruned tree looks much better too. A big thank you to the team who did the work for us - you were amazing! :-)

Nick Bailey Tree surgeons were very good with the work carried out for us from the initial phone call and coming to inspect our tree issues the same day to the completion of the work and even cleaning up afterwards. I would highly recommend anyone needing their services to get in touch. They were less expensive than other companies that quoted us for the same work and their staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable.

We have been customers for several years. We love the sensitivity of the whole team to the welfare of the trees as well as the aesthetics of the garden and surrounding landscape. Work in our grounds over the years has ranged from gentle pruning to the efficient felling of really large trees, each time the teamwork and the speed of work has been astonishing, from dealing with preservation orders to carting away the debris. Pricing is keen; having all the equipment and professionals in-house certainly keeps the cost down.

Did a great job. They turned up when they said, did as I'd asked, and left the garden neatly tidied when they'd finished. I spent a long time looking for a tree surgeon who I thought had actual skill--it seems like anyone with a chainsaw calls themselves that now, then butchers your poor tree by pollarding it to barely more than a stump--something from which the tree will never recover. I had trust in Nick Bailey from the start. They listened, then reduced my tree sympathetically so that I still had a tree to look at, rather than leaving me with a tall stump.
I really can't recommend them enough for that.

Nick and the team did a superb job in giving a large walnut tree that was overhanging neighbouring gardens a crown lift and height reduction. The team had to work in three gardens to perform the task and were so professional, courteous and understanding in their approach. They gave good advice regarding the pruning and all aspects of the work were undertaken efficiently and all gardens were left clean and tidy. I am so pleased with the end result.
I would highly recommend Nick's services and would definitely use again.
