My son suffered at the Cobham branch.

Neglect, health risks & lack of accountability or discipline by staff members meant I had to pull my son out of the nursery immediately after picking him up in a state one day.

Picking him up filthy dirty & often hurt with no accident reports, several key workers in short period, lack of clear direction on a plan for his development or implementation of any plans drafted on paper and regression in most areas after an initially positive experience.

Enough time has lapsed to digest just how bad the treatment was of my son by the nursery. There are 2-3 absolute 💎 staff members but then there are also 2-3 that truthfully shouldn’t be working with children.

Great brand on the face of it but look beyond the glossy fronts and modern environments and look into the team that will be looking after your children for the foreseeable.

Unacceptable encounter with Jane, instead of helping to resolve an issue, she just shrugged and was incredibly rude whilst the other members of staff just looked on.

Shocking as customer service is a vital aspect of any business.

N Family Chertsey is amazing. They send you updates all through the day and the team are great very welcoming and supportive. If you have any worries you can raise it with the manager Josh he is great and very understanding. His daughter goes there so it has to be high standard. Great menu as well. Many thanks Sandra

Not trustworthy. The instructions to call us when the baby was crying during the settling period were very likely continuously ignored. They lied about how long the baby was crying literally on the day when we complained about the settling (and we only knew that because of other parents who witnessed it). We never received written acknowledgment/explanation/apologies, so this was probably never looked into and might be a common practice.

Do not trust the daynurseries.co.uk review website as it biased, we had to fight for 4 weeks to get a negative review published, as the nursery fought to have it rejected.
As a result, the nursery published a flurry of positive reviews in 2 days. That is intentional manipulation. Do not trust them.

This is a poor review as a result of poor care of our 2-year-old boy in September 2023.
The nursery doesn't respect the sickness policy, sick children are allowed so that attendance can be kept high, the nursery encourages attendance of sick children with non-excludable sickness which makes transmission of sickness like wildfire. The sickness policy is entirely commercially driven. This is not a childcare setting; it is run as profitable organisation like a PLC.
Other issues are so trivial that is astonishing how this nursery is rated outstanding. A hat is required when hot weather comes along or a child is sick in hot weather. According to Gemma Pawson, a director, the nursery measures UV rays and makes some decisions worthy of academic publication instead of plain simple care that works.
My child was sick famished or vomiting at all times.
The nursery has an outstanding rating that belongs to previous management and one that cannot be justified. We notified Ofsted and it appears a new rating will be provided in due course. It's very difficult to raise issues because there is no formal complaints policy something Ofsted has been made aware of.
Even if you are desperate for a childcare place, try the complaints policy first, and you will see how rude the head office is in 47-49 Charlotte Road, London, that is if you ever manage to get anyone on the phone.
We had to threaten with debt collectors/court to get our money back, they do not respect the T&Cs of their own contract. They make also mistakes in their invoices.
