It’s good quality view. Easy to capture and send. But sometimes rear camera takes a bit longer to come through

The wiring loom is really thick and only long enough for a small car. Don’t waste your money as mines still in the garage collecting dust!

It works, but the rear field of view is poor. These iQ cameras are also very big, taking up a lot of window space, especially when in a small windowed sports car, in this case a Maserati GT. I would have preferred small cameras, I could cable to another box to handle the nextbase iQ communications functions. The nextbase iQ functions work very well, with quick alerts when someone loiters near the vehicle, only comment here, is that logging onto the app to view the issue takes a long time, often well over a minute, where for instance by comparison a ring door bell camera takes seconds. Maybe it would be a good idea to have the option to send images immediately with the alert, then one can quickly assess any issue.

Please don't waste your money on the Nextbase IQ. I subscribed for the Live Info feature, but every time I try to connect, it just says 'not available.' The video quality is terrible, and there's constant lag. The inside-facing camera doesn’t work properly either—it often goes to a white screen, and I get no useful data. I park my car only 20 meters from my home, yet the connection is still awful. Definitely not worth the price!"

Very easy to set up

The build quality is faultless, however the software seems very unreliable, constantly looses connection, freezes, network connection virtually impossible, even when in car with full 5G signal the Nextbase has nothing! Very rare to get live view. So far can't see anything Smart about it, Cost is not justified

Both the rear and front camera are very good quality. The image quality is just right and can clearly make out number plates at distance. Looking forward to guardian mode and AI mode. Overall I would recommend this product. As a complete system.

Doesn’t live steam and intermittently appears in library events. This is apparently a known problem with this product. The front IQ4K is great but this rear view addition doesn’t live up to the reliability. If it worked as advertised, it would be an epic system.

Poor user manual. A lot of information is missing. The rear camera could be cheaper

Added to a fully-working iQ 2K. Video quality is good but clearly there is some issue with the iQ Android app or the main iQ unit, as the app front page frequently reports 'No rear camera', despite capturing video successfully. Has been reported to Nextbase so hopefully there will be a firmware or app update to resolve it. I'm giving 4* for value based on this issue being resolved.
