NO ALQUILEIS CON ELLOS NUNCA .La palabra hijos de p se les queda corta, cuando alquilamos el coche lo miran así por encima vendiendote que esta nuevo y que no tiene ningún desperfecto, al entregarlo se agacharon para mirarlo por debajo y casualmente tenia un arañazo en el para golpes debajo que nosotros no habíamos hecho ,al entregar el coche lo miraron a fondo fondo hasta con una linterna.sinvergüenzas se les queda corto , ladrones y poco profesionales

Ayant réservé 1 mois et demi à l’avance, on nous recontacte par téléphone pour confirmer la réservation. Cependant, n’ayant pas de nouvelles, nous recontactons l’agence avant d’embarquer, et celle-ci nous indique qu’ils n’ont plus aucune voiture et qu’ils ne peuvent rien faire pour nous!

Aucune solution trouvée ou proposée, alors que nous arrivons à Bucarest à 1h du matin avec une bébé de 3 mois… C’est limite criminel!

Non affidabile.Dopo aver aspettato un ora in aeroporto arrivati in agenzia ci hanno chiesto di fare la casco al prezzo di 30 euro al giorno (per un totale di 377) altrimenti venivano chiesti 1600 euro per la garanzia e il minimo graffio sarebbe costato 300 euro. Leggendo anche le altre recensioni e vedendo le condizioni della macchina che presentava vari graffi mi è sembrata una strategia per truffare le persone.. Lo sconsiglio!

My experience was smooth every year I rented a car from Next Auto Rent - This being my 4th year in a row. No issues whatsoever. Professional and pleasant staff. Supportive and accommodating in extending rental periods. Always a pleasure!

Hi! I have seen a lot of negative reviews.
I rented a car from this company (one Skoda Rapid) for 8 days straight. The price was ok (definitely not the lowest, but not the most expensive either).
My rental agent was a guy named Catalin - good person, nice attitude.
I hit them with a 3* review as the car wasn't cared for, but the agent was cool, thus medium stars review.

PRO:
Nice attitude;
Fast delivery service (the car was brought to my address);
Good prices;
Interesting assurance (e.g. Full CASCO).

COUNTER:
* The car was delivered with a lot of scratches (almost anywhere on the body, there was a little scratch);
The engine + wheels were very dirty (as I took pictures of the car's body, I looked at the engine too...full of dirt - probably the former client drove the car on country roads - the rental company wasn't nice enough to clean it at all.
* The cabin filter had to be cleaned by me as it was clogged - definitely was never changed since the car's date of production - and when AC was first started, a lot of dust came inside the cabin (the most annoying thing);
* The engine had a strange noise when it was cold...but was working fine;
* The floor mat on the driver's side had a big crack in it, disturbing when driving as the shoe heel was caught in it (had to remove the floor mat to be able to drive safely);
* After stating on the website that "there is no need to pay a guarantee if you choose the full insurance", and after I choose to pay the insurance, they still asked for 100 EUR guarantee (for fuel, etc.) - strange thing, as the furl range at pick-up was 40 Km and at drop-off 170 Km (they should have reimbursed me for 130 Km worth of furl range).

All-in-all, NEXT AUTO Rent is a good company, but for your sake:

-> CHECK the car when you go to pick it up (take pictures and a video of the outside and the inside).

Money scam. They will think someway somehow to make claims against your insurance. Keep away from these thieves!

Cheap to rent but later they will hit you with awful exchange rates and claim your insurance so you will be paying the excess! Find somewhere else!

1. On arrival the man was unhappy I did not take out his insurance
2. He wanted to charge 150 euros for a border fee (usually costs approx. 15 euros)
3. He told me I needed to have the car cleaned inside and out (this was not in the terms and conditions/contract)
4. The car was full of scratches so it was hard to get all evidence, especially as it was dusk
5. When checking the car, it was dusk so hard to inspect but I still took pictures the best I could and the man was restless about how much time I was taking. He said I did not need to worry about looking at the car in as much detail as he had already marked off everything damaged onto the sheet. (I called him back after he left to mark an additional 3 items that were not on the sheet)
6. In the end as we didn’t want to pay 150 Euros for the border crossing fee I drove the car to my underground garage (10km away) parked it and took a different car.
7. On return he seemed to walk straight towards a tiny, almost invisible scratch and charged me 300 euros for it. It seemed like he knew exactly where to look for. It also seemed weird that before he found the scratch, he mentioned that if he found anything to ‘just claim back on your insurance’
8. The whole process seemed premeditated and a scam to take money

Do not rent form this company!!!This is the most important advise I can give you.It seems that this is a business created to fraud no matter how correct you will try to be.
If it would have been possible I would put much less that one star.It will be a long review but if you have the patience to read it it would save your money and a lot of stress.

Our experience with this company is one of the worst in our entire life of travelers and we use to rent cars in very different countries.
In fact there is one person in this company, the owner ,whom I can describe as an arrogant,self sufficient and very bad mannered person.
The experience was bad from the beginning as he did not expected us at the airport as marked on the renting confirmation paper so we called him and finally we arrived at his office where he proposed us an extremely expensive insurance (our rental was 150 euros and the insurance 490 euros). As we had the VISA card insurance we did not take it.The car was very carefully inspected by my husband, we took photos and this seemed to annoy the owner who replied "let me do my job".
We took extremely care of the car during our trip as he warned us that any scratch is at least 400 euros and this kind of limited our mobility.
When we returned the car,the owner imposed us,as for all other clients and for the first my experience of rentals, to wash it in order to see if any new scratch appeared.The car was 124 000 km and it had alreday several scratches.
This is the moment when the fraud appears and it seems that this is a very profitable affair and a rehearsed scene.He invented a bump on one of the doors that DID NOT EXISTED but any other argument was not accepted.As we had already a 1200 euros guarantee blocked ,we had to accept the 400 that he asked us for this INVENTED bump.
Plus:
-he was very bad mannered and on the entire discussion, very rude and impolite.For ex he told me that we have had to wake up earlier !(we leaved at 6.30 am form the hotel for a 1 pm plane and for a 2 h road travel as we knew that we had to wash the car before) ;
-he implied that anyway we did not paid much for the rental so we can afford the 400!!!;
-he did not cared about us telling him that our reviews will be negative 'I do not care".

I wonder how the romanian reviews can be so positive and I suspect that his friends are helping him to raise the note.

Please DO NOT RENT it will save you stress and money.This company is organize to fraud any foreign client by any manner offering low prices on internet.I also think that an antifraud organization should be contacted as this,as I said,is a very organized type of bussines.

NON affittate auto da questo noleggio vicino all'Aeroporto Otopeni di Bucharest. E' stata un'esperienza terribile. Siamo grandi viaggiatori e di solito (come ora) preferiamo pagare la casco. Ci hanno convinti/obbligati a fare un'assicurazione aggiuntiva molto onerosa dicendo che quella fatta non copriva nulla. Anche il minimo graffio poteva costare fino a 500Euro. In ritardo sul viaggio abbiamo dovuto pagare a malincuore 270euro contro i 75euro previsti. L'auto che ci hanno dato aveva 160.000km e ad un certo punto ha iniziato a fare rumori. Fortunatamente mio marito é meccanico: abbiamo dovuto comprare/mettere olio per la frizione ed i freni. Quando abbiamo riportato la macchina e glielo abbiamo detto hanno risposto: "Siamo in agosto, le macchine entrano ed escono, non abbiamo tempo di fare controlli!"

This is not a rental company, but an organized criminal group that deals with extorting money for alleged damage to a car. Their cars are completely scratched, and on the windows they have micro damage that can not be seen, but they know perfectly well that they are there. When returning the car, we received our copy of the contract, where it was confirmed by a Next Car employee that our car was all right (no damage). Two days after leaving Romania, we received an e-mail from Next Car with forged documents, where it was written that we damaged the car window. They forged the documents we signed, which is a crime. They did it specially after we left Romania so that we wouldn't be able to report it to the police.

This company is absolutely disgusting.
I collected my car in the dark as I arrived at 9.30pm, I asked the sales guy for lighting to inspect the car and there was none. I had to inspect via the torch on my phone. I took photos the very next morning of the heavily scratched car. This company is not making its money via the car higher but through charging €500 for pre existing scratches. When I arrived to return the same guy pointed out several scratches he said were new until I argued with photo evidence. He then said ok, have you photos of the windshield? He had at this point not even looked at it, but new the paperwork he had marked none. I foolishly forgot to take close up photos of the windshield and the guy charged me €500 euros for a mark around 1/4mm on the edge of the windshield. I argued of how ridiculous this was, yet he insisted the windshield would need replacing and ‘why am I to worry the insurance will pay’ these scum bags are ripping off our insurance companies costing our Uk business money. I will never in this life hire a car in this manner again. Hire with the main big names sixt, enterprise, and hertz. The only way you are safe.

This company search for any tiny scratch in order to extra charge -
do not be tempted by the price - eventually it will be higher than the others

Quand on lit les avis dans Google et autres sites, on est un peu méfiant voir même dubitatif. En fait, ce loueur (comme tous les loueurs dans le monde) propose des taris de location très attractifs basés sur une assurance au tiers. Au moment de la prise de possession de la voiture, il attire votre attention sur les conditions d'assurance et vous propose des extensions de garanties avec couverture totale. Cela peut paraître chère mais ses tarifs sont tout à fait compétitifs versus les autres loueurs du marché. Il est impératif de souscrire cette extension de garantie avec rachat de franchises, car en Roumanie, les routes sont assez mauvaise et vous risquez de prendre des cailloux et autres projections sur la voiture.
Avec l'extension vous êtes couvert, sinon, le loueur va examiner de très près la voiture et va vous facturer "plein pot" la moindre égratignure. Avis aux amateurs, personnellement je ne suis pas joueur et préfère prendre l'extension de garantie. A vous de choisir.

Do not, I repeat, do not use this company. They charged me 500 euros for a tiny scratch on the windscreen claiming that they would have to replace the whole windscreen. They are cheats and liars.

They are crooks and should be reported to the police. They charge us for an invisible scratched that cannot even be seen in a photo. They do this all the time if you do a research on the internet. We got the money back from the insurance but that was not the point. We felt robbed by them.

Never rent from "Next Auto". These are thieves. Not a rental company.
We've ordered 3 cars for 7 days with the following initial quote: Nissan qashqai (7 seat) 442 eur ($495) and 400 eur deposit; Dacia duster 302 eur ($338) and 350 eur deposit; and Opel astra 274 eur ($307) and 300 eur deposit - total of $1,140 + Excess deposits.
After showing me a table with endless excess fees we understood that better purchase the excess waiver from them. We've paid total of $1,758!!! Yes, additional $618 for the waivers. But this is not the end of the story...
One Astra's front lamp didn't work. It took them half an hour to replace it.
The Nissan Quashqai's wipers didn't work. They tried for additional hour to fix it - with no success. We had to leave this car and they gave us additional Astra instead (a smaller car - 5 seats). They've told us that they will bring us the Nissan in the day after and we will settle about the different rental prices when we will return the car.
After leaving Romania we realized that instead of compensating us for one day of the Astra instead a Nissan 7 seat, they've charged our credit card with additional $116!!

By the end of the story we've paid $1,874 instead of $1,140 - 64% more ($734) than initial price. We travel a lot. Such a "brutal theft" happened to us first time.

Please, I urge you. Learn from our and the above lessons. We were stupid. Never rent a car from "Next Auto" in Otopani Airport, Romania
