DO NOT BUY HATS THROUGH NEW ERA
Sent me the wrong item. It was the correct barcode of the item I ordered on the incorrect hat. Customer service told me I did receive the item I ordered, and then tried to get ME to pay return shipping to send it back. New Era does bad business because they don’t know how to label a product correctly, and I get to pay more and wait longer! What a great deal and way to show your customer you think they’re no better than garbage! Don’t worry though, no phone customer support. They only use chat and the same predetermined prompts. Cassidy, the rep who “assisted” me, made me feel like I was somehow in the wrong. Just send me the correct $3 in material and labor cost hat and admit you guys screwed up. I’ll burn the incorrect one, along with every other new era hat I own.
Absolutely the worst to deal with
Absolutely the worst to deal with. You email them and they send you back the same bs auto generated email in response. Complete joke. You need someone answering phones. Not emails. We need to speak to someone live. Also when. Someone places and order they should be able to fix any errors there may be. Then when you ship out an item knowingly knowing thiat its going to the wrong address and you've disregarded all my emails and calling FedEx is a joke also. Because you put in there only you can change the address but when I email you your response is you can't. Screw you and you overpriced trash. I should be able to pick up my package at the FedEx location near me. It's going there anyways and I'm 5 minutes from the placement. Totally unreasonable. Lost a customer. I will never buy another New Era hat as long as I live not for me or my son.
Won't ship my hat
Ordered a hat, they say it's in stock and there's an issue with releasing it. Been over a month, they just won't send it. It makes no sense why they're not sending it. Very unprofessional company
Ordered a cap as a gift
Ordered a cap as a gift. Was expecting it to come when I get a cancelation email from them . No explanation, other than its canceled. So i reached out to customer service and the response I get is it happened at the the warehouse! Bad response, bad customer service, bad business.
Scammers
This company seems determined to squeeze money out of customers any way they can. I ordered a hat, noticed right away that the size was wrong, and emailed them to cancel the order less than two minutes later. They told me they couldn’t cancel it but that I could return it for a refund. When the cap arrived, I sent it back immediately. They then kept $8 as a non refundable shipping fee, and the rest of the refund has been dragging on for weeks. They received the return on November 6 and as of the 25 I still haven’t seen the refund. Every time I email them they tell me to wait a few more days.

Don't but from this company. Customer service lies they will not honor shipping times. If you pay for expedited shipping you might as well just thrown your money away.
Poor Customer Service — No Help After Stolen Package
I ordered a cap from New Era, and FedEx delivered it to the lobby of my building, not to my apartment. Within minutes, someone wearing an Amazon vest stole the package — I even have the video footage.
I contacted New Era right away and sent them the video, expecting at least a replacement or some help. Their response: “Sorry, it was delivered to your address — you’re out of luck.”
Delivery to a shared lobby isn’t the same as delivery to the customer. Most companies stand by their customers in situations like this — New Era didn’t. I won’t be ordering from them again.
Shipping and customer service is terrible
When you look up reviews on the company and ai says mixed reviews quality good customer service and shipping sucks man is that correct- if you have a date you need an item by dont buy here and do not trust their expected shipping times. And when you call them out on it they ignore you. My item ordered the 15th with 7 to 10 day shipping its now the 31st and have heard nothing besides just wait from customer service- finally the tracker has updated and maybe ill see the hat by 11/4 but I was told the 23rd originally and counted on it for a birthday. Disappointed

Sly company sly policies
They intentionally hide the fact that you can't cancel an order even if they have no intention of shipping it for a long time. They will tell you they are processing your order right away even when the order does not ship for days. People are not stupid and understand that is just a way to make money lost a customer for good.
Even better is how they will respond to your first email with a bot disguised as an agent but when you try to converse a second time you get a formal auto reply telling you to kick rocks
Honestly
Honestly, don’t even waste your time ordering from the new era store. They always lie about the shipping you pay for Expedia shipping and yet they hold the package for four days when the package was supposed to be delivered at four days order trash shipping they don’t care about your order honestly never had a package come on time just utter waste of time
They only care about your money nothing else
I call new era cap for some help on the delivery that I never received I’ve told them that I have footage offered that never came to my address she told me as long as the package left there store they wasn’t going reimburse me or send me a new order these people don’t care about your purchase they just want ur money she didn’t even call FedEx to find what was going on the only thing she said to call my credit card number to make a complaint putting me to go through loops they are also full of sh***t they don’t deserve your money either
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL
They left my unit number off my shipping label so FedEx couldn't deliver. Unit number was on my order, so their mistake. Phoned FedEx to correct address they apologized and said they could not correct it, only the shipper. Called New era customer service. They are not taking any phone calls. Email only. Sent email said they could not call Fedex to correct it. I will have to wait until it is returned undeliverable..Maybe several weeks. LOUSY LOUSY LOUSY customer NO service. Don't waste your time with these idiots
Order Mishandled, Money Gone
Ordered an Orlando Magic Deceptors fitted hat from New Era Cap. They gave FedEx the wrong address—not the one I entered. After multiple calls and emails, FedEx delivered it to the wrong place, took a photo with no apartment number, and called it done. I never got the hat, and New Era took no responsibility.

I visited this shop in bluewater the range of caps was exceptional and great quality but the customer service was actually the highlight of this store Georgina the sale assistant was really helpful friendly and nothing was to much trouble friendly and welcoming she was actually a breath of fresh air and a credit to any company its not often you come across people like this and when you do it only right to give them an acknowledgement
Horrible customer service
I have had the worst customer service experience I have ever had. They are extremely unhelpful. My order has been stuck in transit for days. I email customer service several times explaining what’s going on and I get the same scripted response each time. They don’t offer to look into it or anything. I had to call fedex myself to see what the issue is. They need new era to contact them because they can’t read the shipping label and need them to verify the information. I have sent several emails explaining this and no one is willing to help. So they pretty much just took my money and I am not getting my order at this rate. I can’t get a hold of anyone to help me.
Expect at least 14 days
Do not purchase anything from this old era company...sure they still utilize that horse Paul revere rode on to deliver their sometimes sh**ty products.
“Delayed, Poor Communication, and Canceled My Daughter’s Birthday Gift”
I placed an order with New Era on August 21, 2025 (Order #US43689406). For nearly two weeks I received no updates. Then, without any direct communication, I got a generic automated email stating that part of my order — a Detroit Tigers kids cap that was supposed to be a birthday gift for my daughter — had been canceled.
By the time I learned of this, her birthday was right around the corner and the gift was ruined. At no point did New Era contact me directly or attempt to resolve the situation. Instead, I was essentially forced into keeping another hat I no longer wanted because their return process would have required me to do all the legwork, wait for it to be received at their facility, and only then get my refund. That’s not a real solution — that’s pushing their mistake back onto the customer.
When I raised these concerns, customer service fell back on “policies” and claimed orders move “too quickly” to cancel — which is contradictory, since it took them almost two weeks just to notify me about the canceled item. Communication then went dead, and no meaningful resolution was offered.
This has been an unacceptable experience. The lack of timely communication, the dismissive customer service, and being forced into a product I didn’t want after delays and excuses is unprofessional for a company of this size. I am requesting a full refund for my order without requiring me to do additional work to correct their mistake.
Unprofessional
If I could give them negative five stars I would. How is this company still in business, handling their consumers like they handled me. I've had the most unprofessional experience with New Era Cap. Despite providing all necessary information, including my full address and apartment number, they omitted the apartment number from the shipping label, resulting in a failed delivery by FedEx. When I contacted them, they refused to take responsibility for the error and wouldn't assist in resolving the issue, citing that the order was already processed and shipped. I'm extremely frustrated that they won't rectify the situation, which was entirely their fault. I'm requesting a refund
Never spend your money with this…
Never spend your money with this company if you have to do something like work for a living. I am an otr truck driver so I'm gone a long time order 2 hats while gone got home they don't fit so I am out my money because they said I'm outside the return window. I will never wear another new era cap in my life.
