Shipped me a hat in a flattened and ripped open box. All wet and stinky with no way to return it and they want me to go buy a box instead of sending a replacement with a box a can use. This along with the fact they don't make Tampa bay in low profiles anymore make this company a pathetic company! I'm done with these pathetic losers

The only reason I'm leaving a bad…

The only reason I'm leaving a bad review is because of FedEx. I've never had any problems with the ordering process or the quality of hats from New Era, but I have never had a good experience with FedEx. Out of all of the items I have ordered (not just from New Era) that were shipped through FedEx, maybe one was delivered on time. Personal opinion if New Era would switch to UPS, I think the experience would be much better. As it is now I will only order directly from them to get exclusive designs. I'd rather go through Fanatics or one of their various other websites.

Super unprofessional customer service

Super unprofessional customer service. I ordered over $100 of products and then was sent an email saying my order was canceled. I emailed to ask why and was told they only take US funded orders yet their website allows you to use an international card. I currently do not live in the US but was ordering a gift for a friend to be shipped to her US address. Do not recommended them.

Got a 15% discount because one of my…

Got a 15% discount because one of my orders was missing a visor clip. Uses it on a hat that came crushed twice. They won't let me use that 15% off on another hat. They are insisting I buy the hat a 3rd time and won't let me use the code on another item.Ridiculous to not take my money. I have bought over 25 hats in the last year. Aside from the apparel. They were much better before.

Love your hats but your shipping is garbage. Ordered June 27th, estimated delivery July 5, received July 10th. If I’m spending over $100 bucks on hats, knees to chest!

Hat Return

Ordered a hat, shipping charges are ridiculous. Took at least 2 weeks to receive. Hat was too small so started return process next day. No phone number, everything they email. Absolutely NO customer service. I sent hat back, received email after about a week saying I would get a refund for hat, not shipping charges. It has been over 3 weeks and nothing. Have emailed several times with NO response. I thought this was a legit company but after reading these reviews, I think I’ve been scammed.
Look elsewhere for product.

I've spent hundreds, potentially thousands of dollars on New Era products, generally of acceptable quality. However, there have been instances of dishonesty regarding their policies. Recently, after paying for an order, they issued a receipt for $14 more than authorized. Despite my request, they have refused to refund the excess. The only option they provide is a physical return (meaning I strip the box of labels, print new ones, and return the item).

Additionally, I tried to cancel an order previously within an hour of placing it, but was informed it had already shipped. However, their own website showed it didn't ship for another week, and it took nearly two weeks for delivery.

It's evident that New Era prioritizes procedures over customer service, and their policies regarding returns, refunds, and cancellations are unnecessarily stringent.

DO NOT BUY DIRECT FROM NEW ERA CAP!!!!

If you are looking to purchase hats/caps directly from New Era Cap, I recommend you turn the other way and order from lids or elsewhere.

New era says they also use UPS but I have never got them. They continue to use FedEx Tracking that doesn’t update for days and they just take their sweetest time shipping your item in the worst longest possible ways, it seems on purpose if you order with free shipping. Hearing many similar things from many other customers.

They purposely seem to choose the longest shipping routes and times, my package just sat at a fedex hub location in TX for 5 days during their “working business days” from the 18th Tuesday - Saturday 22nd, you think it would be moving along during business hours. Then as soon Saturday comes along where they know they do not deliver on weekends for the cheapest shipping, your package will start moving again on Saturday and Sunday no problems tracking again. My package has gone through 3 weekends during its route and I still have not received it, it just keeps stopping. Ordered the 7th, shipped the 10th, it is now the 23rd and will be just past their 7-10 day delivery estimate. And finally, New Era Cap hasn’t/doesn’t respond to my emails or inquiries on my order. They will send you the wrong tracking number as well. I was given a USPS tracking number that has never updated once, it continues to say waiting to receive package, as if FedEx still has to handoff my package to usps. I have no idea because they do not respond.

Sent out an inquiry on Tuesday the 18th, not one reply back, sent another one the 21st, no reply and of course a weekend comes along so they are closed.

Expect your order to take atleast 14-28 days even though their estimated time is 7-10 days.

Wrong Item. Customer Service a nightmare. No Phone # to speak with anyone. Did not receive full refund. Please save yourself the hassle and Do Not Purchase from this company!

Shipping is a nightmare

Shipping is a nightmare. Let's forget the fact that their hats are way overpriced (although I do like their product qulity), but I have never had a good experience with recieving my orders from them. I dont know what it is about FedEx putting all New Era orders waaaay at the bottom of their delivery lists. My package will get to a town away, and I think I'm getting it soon, then suddenly its four states away, then sits at a hub for a week, then maybe goes back on another truck. I have to wait at least 2 weeks to get my order. I'm done and will never order through their site again. Back to Lids for me.
