Some Red Flags Here
When we originally became a customer of Neverbounce 6 years ago and integrated them into our systems, there was no expiration date on prepaid credits. That was part of the purchasing decision for us, as our use case involved variable quantities of new leads that we use the Neverbounce API to check before adding them to a drip sequence.
In 2024, they introduced an expiration date on credits in fine print on the pricing page. I'm guessing this is a way to increase the revenue without raising the price, since there is no real-world reason why the credits need to expire. It’s like the Post Office announcing that all unused forever stamps will expire in a year and adding an expiration date to any stamps made in the future. This is a pretty major shift for customers who have already written software around their service.
I reached out to their customer service asking for a resolution, and they seemed apologetic but said nothing could be done.
I see this is a common complaint with the company, and in looking at their website I also noticed they advertise 7,000+ G2 reviews with a 4.5-star rating. As of today, they have 138 reviews and a 4.2-star rating. I don't know what else they're lying about, there could be more things, and it certainly leaves me wondering about the accuracy of their product. I'm currently looking for a replacement service to transition to.

You pay for credits that expire
You pay for credits, than then expire.
Worst business model and terrible lead quality data anyway.
Low quality work, Don't waste your money
Low quality work. Not usable results. Rude and unhelpful staff during the frustrating process.
To be avoided like the plague!
The only service that limits the lifespan of credits to 12 months. What's more, they change the rules midway through without honoring existing contracts.
I just logged in and their site shows 0 credits, even though I had $1,000 worth left as of December 31, 2025. These credits had NO expiration date at the time of purchase; they should never have expired.
These are unscrupulous crooks to be avoided like the plague!
Warning: NeverBounce Steals Credits Before Expiration
I have been a loyal NeverBounce user for over a decade, and as an agency owner, I have driven countless clients to their platform without commissions, but out of loyalty. Unfortunately, that loyalty means absolutely nothing to them.
I recently discovered buried messages in my Gmail Spam folder saying my credits would expire on September 30th. At no point during purchase was I ever clearly informed that bulk credits had a one-year expiration date. This feels deliberately deceptive.
When I realized what was happening, I scrambled to line up a few clients who might need list cleaning. I logged into my account at 7:49pm EST on 9/30/25, only to find every last credit had already been wiped out. They didn’t even honor the end-of-day deadline; they deleted them early.
So let’s recap: their so-called “notifications” went straight to spam, they never made the expiration policy transparent at checkout, and then they pulled credits before the final minute of the expiration date.
This isn’t just poor customer service, it’s predatory. NeverBounce is nothing more than a money grab. After over 10 years of loyalty, I will never use them again and will actively warn others to stay away.
NeverBounce is a Scam – They Stole $1,000 of My Credits
I’ve been a paying customer of NeverBounce for over 10 years. Last week, out of nowhere, I get an email saying my 350,000 credits ($1,000 worth) will expire in just 7 days.
This is a scam. When I bought these credits, they were sold with no expiration date. That was the deal. That’s why I bought in bulk. Now, years later, they change the rules, give me one week’s notice, and act like it’s normal.
I contacted support and all I get is the same copy-paste robot message about their “policy.” They don’t care. They don’t listen. They just steal your money and hide behind new terms that never existed when you purchased.
If I had known credits would expire, I would have bought them as I needed them. Instead, NeverBounce tricks loyal customers, changes the contract after the fact, and takes thousands of dollars with zero accountability.
This company is dishonest. They treat long-time customers like garbage and I consider what they’re doing straight up theft.
Avoid NeverBounce, they are not the most accurate anyway.
PS: I can prove everything I’m saying – I have screenshots and invoices to back it up.
Dishonest Policy Change - Paid $$$ for ‘Never-Expiring’ Credits… Then They Changed the Rules
I’ve been a NeverBounce customer for years, but after their recent policy change, I can’t recommend them to anyone. When I originally purchased credits (over $300 worth), NeverBounce made it clear that they would never expire. That was a big reason I felt comfortable buying in bulk.
Fast forward to recently — without any meaningful notice, they changed their policy so that credits now expire. Even worse, they gave existing customers just 7 days to use up whatever balance we had left. Imagine being told something you paid for would never expire, only to find out later you’re essentially being strong-armed into using it or losing it.
This feels dishonest and unfair to loyal customers. It undermines trust and makes it clear they value squeezing a few extra dollars over honoring their word. If you’re considering NeverBounce, I would strongly caution you to think twice — there are plenty of alternatives out there that don’t treat customers this way.

Neverbounce helps me so much running email campaigns. What would I do without it?
Amazing tool
Amazing tool, not too expansive and has some game changing features
Great Validation
Easy onboarding, great data and even when I wanted to talk to support it was a breeze
Honestly - I hate to verify emails
Honestly, doing these email verifications as part of my sucks!!
So using Neverbounce was a set it and forget it kind of deal. Does what it says on the tin.
Low bounce ratio but validation barely useful for that price
For sure neverbounce can guarantee low bounce rates when they simply tag 50% emails you submit there as unknown status because only emails they know to verify are those everybody else does, so if you want to get info about emails difficult to judge upon they have no clue. Other providers at least return credits for those, not neverbounce though.

Publish incorrect data without permission, including a persons private residential phone number. When asked to remove they refuse. Arrogant and not complying with data protection laws.
High bounce rate even after verification
We’ve been a NeverBounce customer for over 10 years, but I can no longer recommend their service. We used their platform to verify every email we sent—expecting, of course, that verified emails wouldn’t bounce. Despite that, we continued to see a high bounce rate, which is simply unacceptable.
What’s worse, NeverBounce’s support was completely unhelpful. Responses felt AI-generated, with no real resolution offered, and we were left waiting without answers.
Avoid their service. There are far better and more reliable email verification providers out there.

Neverbounce automatically debited a full 1 year fee instead of activating the monthly contract requested! Despite writing and promising a return of money to reset the situation they didn't do it and the support email stopped replying to me. Very upsetting!!
Not helpful if you want to pay annually
Have been requesting since 2024 how to pay annually for a subscription of automatic cleaning as I had set up a never bounce account and couldn’t see this option. We were interested in having sync and clean. Emailed support and had been given Brandon a sales rep email so emailed him. Instead of informing me right off the bat that this is not an option that they provide, asked if I wanted sync or clean which I asked for costs for both. I was then completely ignored until I chased this up and have been met with rudeness and still no information on how to pay annually for anything. Quite disappointed in this service hoping another colleague is able to help otherwise don’t think we will be bothering with this service
45 bounces and a 4.3% bounce rate
We used a "cleaned list" through their system, that was to remove the bounces and bad data.
45 bounces and a 4.3% bounce rate. Their "promise" guarantees that no more than 3% of your emails will bounce after using their service.
They then attempt to waste as much time of yours as possible to analyse the situation to see who is at fault, server, time of day, email provider..
All that for a $6 credit.
They have very high false positive…
They have very high false positive results. Also, I tried to cancel my account within 24hrs and they are not replying nor refunding.
