Absolutely disappointed in the direction this company has gone with their products. I used to be a big time fan of Needforseats chairs as I had a MAXNOMIC Team Liquid chair I had purchased 8 years ago that was absolutely phenomenal I had used it for 6 years with heavy use and it held up so well. Now early of last year I decided to purchase a new MAXNOMIC® Commander S PUE as my old one had finally started to show its age. This new Maxnomic chair I received was so poorly put together I couldn't believe the quality of everything.
-They decided to switch from the more metal base for the wheels for this cheaper plastic looking metal that came broken on arrival.
Thankfully I just switched the base from my old chair as it was still in good condition.
The foam in this new chair was also terrible compared to the old one I can feel the bar in the chair and it makes it very uncomfortable to sit in for any extended period of time I had to resort to using a pad on the chair.
The material they used for this chair as well has begun to already fall apart on me after a year of use and the pads on the armrest have all but completely fallen apart.
I just can't believe this company went from providing such quality high end chairs to this terrible chair they have released now.
At this point in time i would not recommend anyone to buy one of these chairs which is extremely disappointing because I used to rave about my old one.

~As mentioned I did not reach out about the broken base as I had just swapped it for my old chair that was still in good condition.
~As I have no way of posting pictures here I can not show the state my chair is in otherwise I would.

The took the money out of my account and after 5 days of no word I emailed them and they said there was a problem with my card. Scam artists.

Yeah my card was a fraud risk yet you still froze the funds. SCAM!

You stated that you even tried to access Amazon Pay which I never authorized.

Either accept the order or don't, do not freeze peoples money for days until they contact you to see why you aren't delivering.

It's funny I tried to call the number in your email and it said you are closed, yet here you are, nice business model.

I have all the documentation I need to back up my story.

To clarify you didn't cancel my order until I told you to yet you froze the funds until I contacted you.

So you admit you access Amazon Pay when you weren't given authorization to, I ordered through your site and it had nothing to do with Amazon. I have ordered before and after this with Amazon and you are the only fraud company I have had trouble with.

If my card was fraudulent then why did you freeze the funds?

You either take the order or not, you don't hold peoples money until they contact you. Six days and counting.

I had a Maxnomic chair and it was good but the leather wore out, but I found another option that costs half as much Blue Whale hopefully they are more competent than you.

Anyway you will get you one star and like it, I will not be back or spend more time on your fraud company. There is a reason you can't even make four stars.

You had one job, take the order or don't , you failed, obviously I was a paying customer and you failed there also.

You took the money and I never got a call from you! And Amazon was never a option through your site, you commited fraud by even trying to use it. Like I said fraud and scam artits.

So far this chair has been awesome. It's built well and is comfortable for 8-hour work days. And a few hours playing games after that. Thank you, guys!

I've bought 2 other maxnomic chairs before this one. Both were extremely comfortable and well made. In the past year and a half they changed the foam formula, it's now significantly stiffer. So much that sitting on the chair with my feet flat on the ground feels like I'm sitting on a slightly soft wooden chair. The front edge puts pressure on the underside of my thighs and after 2 hours there is discomfort. After that it just turns to literal pain that takes a longer amount of time to fade away. I even tried lowering the chair so that my legs wouldnt put as much weight on the foam, that actually decreased the ergonomics because I had to literally reach up to use my computer, and it didn't help much anyways. I inquired about this change and got told people wanted stiffer foam for better ergonomics. But I can't see how anyone would prefer to sit on this. Quality besides the hard foam is good. Value for money is poor. I have sat in more comfortable seats that cost half as much. This would be 1 Star but the response and courtesy of the rep involved was helpful, even if it wasn't the answer I wanted to hear.

Exactly what I ordered. Hope my son likes it. Originally thought I was charged for personalization but after reviewing the invoice I see the extra charge was for the premium armrests.

My chair broke, it took all of 5mins to get everything sorted out and a brand new part in the mail. No cost to me.

Amazingly fast delivery. Easy set up. Great quality.

top notch customer service as well as a built to last product. There is no need to buy any other brand chair, watch the video of the chair being cut in half and that should be all you need to know this is the best chair on the market.

Chair is so supportive. I haven't had any of the back or hip pain from working 10-2+ hours/day at my desk. I asked Customer Service prior to purchasing what would work best for my needs and the advice was just right. I also did have trouble with the right armrest not locking into the position when selected and they sent me a replacement part within 24 hours. Several of my co-workers from home have this chair and it was the best advice from them!

Absolutely love the chair! It’s the perfect fit for my Ohio state themed mancave. Also perfect fit for my body type, very comfortable and perfect fit(I’m 5’9 165). Had an issue where the screws were not put in the box, but the man I talked to was fantastic. Shipped me the screws as well as cleaner for the inconvenience. Great customer service!

I'm probably done with Maxnomic anything. I wanted to go higher end with my gaming chair and got one of their XL Series chairs. The quality was miles better than what I had before, that's not the issue. I was warned that their customer service can be a little weak when it came to product issues, and my experience was just that. When my spring cylinder started failing I ordered a new one but could not for the life of me get the old one off, even following the video directions on their YouTube page. When I contacted customer support they recommended using a hammer instead of a mallet, which damaged the cylinder, base and tilt mechanism and also did not solve the problem. Not being able to use my chair, I then ordered a new base, wheels, and tilt mechanism and what I got was a box with loose wheels and tilt mechanism sliding around and scratching and denting the base. By the time I ordered all these parts I had paid almost as much as I paid for the chair itself and I'd expect a little better packaging. Now I have a functioning chair (for now) with a dented and scratched to hell base that I can't believe I spent all that money on. Going to ride this chair until the wheels fall of and then go with someone else next time.

I’ve had my Maxnomic seat since 2011 it’s 2022 and the leather could look better but structurally the only thing to break was one wheel. I thank you guys for having replacement parts because the difference in price is extreme today.

Because of the way I sit in chairs, depending on how I sit, my back can hurt from the rigidity of the back rest. Although, this chair is the highest quality chair in terms of feel and materials that I have ever sat in, and I can almost guarantee that if I sat normally it would be a 5 star. To reiterate, any poor experience I have with this chair is my own fault and none of the chair's fault. The assembly was clear and easy, and the fact that each chair's parts are hand checked before shipping is nice.

They have helped me with my issue of replacing the gas cylinder on a 7 year old chair. It's really hard, but this chair has been great for 7 years and I'd like to keep using it! Great products and happy with the new response from customer support.
