Nantucket Spider is the Best Protection Against Ticks!
I have used Nantucket Spider - tick spray for people and for dogs for years now. I have used the clothing detergent strips for a couple years.
I highly recommend the tick spray! The people spray smells like cloves and cinnamon, no DEET, and it just WORKS! I tell the stores that carry this product how awesome it is, I tell everyone I know that hikes or is outside about it. I am happy with the tick spray against dogs - not much of a smell, it is safe for my pups, and we do not have a problem with ticks.
The clothing detergent strips work terrific. NO PLASTIC! I use unscented.
This was the second time I ordered both types of products online and I was happy with the prompt service and the shipping.

Love this company and their products!
Love this company and their products!! Their commitment to high quality, non-toxic bug repellents and cleaning products, and their products work and smell great! I have tried and used most of them!! I feel good about using them and know they are not adding to my body's already too high toxic burden or Mother Nature's.

Happy customer
Phenomenal service and product! The tick repellent spray works really well. I ordered 6 bottles. One of the bottles had a malfunctioning sprayer, I emailed to let them know and within 3 days I had a new sprayer!! Thank you so much from a happy customer.

The container is faulty
The product was great, but I applied it before taking a walk in the woods and left it in the car. When I returned a half hour later, the container had broken open and the liquid was all over the seat of my car. I have not been able to get rid of the smell. I live in Maine, and it is just not that hot. I should be able to leave a spray in my car without having this happen.

Thank you for reaching out - I am sorry to hear about the spill!
Your best bet for cleanup is soap and water. Unfortunately, because the product is designed to have a strong smell that sticks around (to deter bugs for a long time), it will take a day or two for the smell to dissipate. Luckily, this shouldn't cause any additional damage and will fully go away after a couple of days.
This is what our FAQ says as well:
Ugh! I spilled the bottle in my car!
We heard last summer from a couple of customers who left their Nantucket Spider in their hot cars and found that the bottle boiled over. It is important to remember not to leave your bug spray in your car (many things including sunscreen, lotions and bug sprays will expand and leak in a hot car - not to mention how extreme heat may change the quality of the ingredients - in a heat wave the interior temperature of your car can climb above 150 degrees in half an hour!)
While our sprays shouldn't stain clothing when used as directed, a bottle of repellent spilled on your dashboard might.
The good news is, because essential oils are volatile, the smell of the bug spray will dissipate before long. Mop up any excess spill and wash down area. Leave windows open to air out your car. Keep windows open while driving too until the oils evaporate - as terrific as our bug sprays smell, no one wants to be steeped in them (especially your kids and pets)! A bowl of coffee grounds will help absorb odors. People, Camp and Dog should be faint the next day and be gone entirely in a couple of days. The tick spray is longer lasting and slower to evaporate but should be gone in a few days too.

Love your products. We use the bug sprays for humans and dogs and the cleaners. Still need to work on your packing for shipment - both to prevent leakage and to go green (no bubble wrap, please!)

Customer Service & Products are EXCELLENT!
As a Canadian client I was treated wonderfully by your Customer Service folks. Amy was the name of the person I dealt with.
When I placed my order online there was what I felt was a HUGE shipping cost automatically added to my fairly substantial order.
However, I contacted the company and had the matter taken care of in no time at all.
I've used their tick repellant for dogs and humans for many years and found them effective and the scent is pleasant and fresh (unlike a lot of other products that I've tried in the past).

Have always loved your products
Have always loved your products, all natural and keep the bugs off of me and my pup. This time when I ordered one of the bottle lids broke and so most of the product was spilled as a result. They replaced it immediately at no cost, great customer service, thank you

I originally ordered laundry strips because my co-op was out of them. When I got them, they had sent a sample toilet cleaner which I absolutely love. I would have never ordered it otherwise and I’m so glad I tried it. Their shipping is really quick compared to other companies also.

Good bug spray
The bug spray smells nice and goes on in a nice mist and isn’t greasy like some others. It seems to keep most bugs away.

Summer Camp spray not effective at all.
Two different times my daughter and granddaughter tried out the Summer Camp bug protection, in their backyard yard late in the day. Immediately after spraying they had misquotes landing on them and biting them. Very disappointed. Full refund was promptly given.

These smell wonderful
Love the smell of the tick and regular bug repellant. Since I'm sensitive to citronella, these are a welcome alternative. They work great, too!
