NO 5 Star Review for this Company
I was SOOOO wrong in giving this place a 5 star review as they sure don't deserve it anymore. I was disillusioned when I gave them 5 stars. There are not enough stars in the universe to give them that many negative ratings!! I had 8 teeth extracted at their practice and the next day needed help. I called and the idiot receptionist told me she couldn't help me as it was my problem and I should've talked to the doctor when I was there. I was in dire need of something for pain and she totally ignored me and told me to figure it out myself. I then called the Case Manger at my primary care physician's office to try and get some help as the pain was unbearable. She called Sage dental and was told it was none of her business and who was she to even call to help me. The day of the surgery I was given NO post-surgery instructions and when I asked a question the dr walked out of the room, they brought me a wheelchair and took me to the waiting room downstairs. The receptionist did tell my case manager that an antibiotic was prescribed and to use that for pain (FYI - antibiotics are NOT used to treat pain). However the instructions for that was to take 4 capsules 1 hour before my appointment with my regular dentist at a different practice and when I asked why there were 12 capsules ordered and I'm only to take 4 the answer was ask someone else. After a day of extreme pain the top manager at my primary drs office had to get involved and I was finally at 6:08pm ordered 12 tablets of Tylenol with codeine when I started to try and get something at 8:45am that morning. So I was never given any instructions and when I saw my regular dentist his assistant gave me a whole list of things to do and not to do. I was shocked and my dentist said because I didn't do some of the things recommended my healing process is not going as it should. I could write a book on the terrible way my extractions were handled and the follow up care that Sage Dental refused to give me and I can assure you that a LONG detailed complaint will be sent to every agency I can find on where and how to file a complaint against Sage Dental. And because my healing process is not proceeding as it should I have an appointment tomorrow with an attorney to look into suing Sage Dental. Don't ever go to Sage Dental they are totally incompetent and do not help once you leave their office. Really? My problem? My case manager is in no place to get involved? Figure it out on my own? No post surgery instructions?
Marcella at the front desk was such a help and so understanding. She walked me through the financial part and helped me with that. Was so helpful Christine the assistant did my scans was so kind
The people at Sage Dentistry were awesome. I’m a senior citizen getting lower dentures I was nervous and they put me totally at ease.Dr.Kim explained what would happen and what to expect. The whole staff was amazing
Poor Service.

I can’t thank Dr Swathi at Sage Dental enough. I had a broken tooth and she stayed after-hours to make sure it was fixed properly. Such kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Highly recommend
Don’t ever use sage dental
Don’t ever use sage dental. I went to this place and they told me I needed about $8,000 worth of repair done on my teeth. I leave and go to 2 other separate dentist who tell me my teeth are just fine and don’t need any repairs done to them at this time. Sage dental is a scam.
Fraud. Charging for services that are not provided.
They have committed insurance fraud. Charged me for a partial bridge $985. Charged my insurance as well. They didnt do the work and are saying a refund takes 8 weeks. Now I have to file a dispute with my bank. Write to BBB. Also file a fraud case with Delta Dental. All I want is my money back and my insurance charges reversed.
They are terrible!!
They are terrible!!! I have 2 estimate that are exactly alike!! The day i went in for the extraction my estimate went from $12,000 to $22,000 i first just was going to get the regular numbing but changed and decided on the anesthesiologist!! One i was in the chair and he said that will be $12,000 I said that's wrong!! They had me talk to Catherine!!! OMG this woman thought I was crazy I explained to her and showed her my signed paper work!!! I said ok forget the anesthesiologist just numbing me she proceeds to say that that dentist no longer works with them I said ok my contract was with saga not a particular person!! Now this is where she got me!! This was November when I signed everything it's now December she said that's why we referred you to the anesthesiologist. I said no you didn't i call and made that choice because I thought about the pain but now I will be willing to see the REGULAR DENTIST!!!! OMG THIS IS MONDAY 12/15/25 SHE SAID THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY DENTIST!!! what i said this is a dental office and you'll don't have any dentists but I see about 5 customers (that's probably gonna end up like me) she Catherine told me to come back in JANUARY mind you she didn't make me an appointment yet she just said come back and we'll see if anyone can help me!!! I AIN'T SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS

Three days ago, I called Saga Dental and told them I needed braces. I asked for some information, and they told me, “Come on Thursday at 9 a.m. — the exam and X-rays are free for first-time patients, and we’re currently offering big discounts on braces.”
So today I went there, registered, and then the staff member told me I had to pay $750 upfront or buy a membership for $149. She said, “You have two options.” I was shocked. I told her that I only came for a check-up and price information, not to pay that much money in advance.
Then she spoke to me rudely and said, “We can’t work with you.” She was very disrespectful — her face showed anger, and I felt extremely upset and disappointed. They completely lied about the free exam and discounts.
Saga Dental is dishonest and unprofessional. Their customer service is terrible, and they have no respect or basic manners when talking to people. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I went to get my night guard that I lost. The worst place. I got insulted because of my Hispanic origin and my English accent. They wanted to extract all my teeth; when I said that I will set an appointment latter, they refused to make the night guard. They are MONEY MONKEYS. No respect, no professionalism. I dont know how this people get a license and they call themselves health care workers.

Dubious billing practice
Stay away from this practice! Very dubious redundant office and corporate billing leads to confusion and questionable practice. I was sent a letter stating they were sending my bill to collections when I had a zero balance verified by the Sage Dental office personnel. Very questionable activity in my mind. I complained to corporate. Stay away!
Quite literally the WORST dental…
Quite literally the WORST dental experience I’ve ever had. I had to switch here due to dental insurance changes and would advise anyone to run as far away from here as they can. My appointment was at 8am. There were 5 of us waiting outside of the office 8:04am with the door still locked. The office is tiny and does not even have enough chairs for the amount of patients they schedule. The dentist himself walked through the front door at 8:06am. So unprofessional. After about 20 minutes of waiting they called me back to do panoramic X-rays. I just had panoramic X-rays done 4 months prior and had them sent from my previous office before my appointment. They stated they never received them so I had to do the leg work and call the office and send them myself. They then said oh your X-ray photos are not compatible with our system and they don’t show a date on them, we have to do our own. I said no I refuse and walked out of my appointment and will never return. I left the office at 9am. Wasted an entire hour here for absolutely nothing.
I have never felt more uncomfortable at…
I have never felt more uncomfortable at a dentist office in my life. It just felt like a "scam" in the approach to care. I was told things that have never, ever come up in my dental history. I'm taking all of my x-rays and leaving. Steer clear of Sage Dental...this is not your local Dental office you can trust.
Do not go to Sage dental
Do not go to Sage dental! The dentist I saw was a con man. First time I saw him he said I had no cavities, but I had an infection in a tooth. The second time I saw him, he said I had cavities. The third time I saw him he said I had no cavities. He was just trying to sell me stuff. He pulled the tooth that had no infection and when I asked to see the tooth, they said oh we threw it out. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and corporate Sage dental kept blaming it on me. Yes I signed the contract in the beginning, but I only signed it on good faith. I didn’t know the guy was going to lie to me
, also, I told the dentist I was having issues with a tooth on the other side of my jaw and he ignored me for the first two visits. On the third visit, I said listen you need to stop ignoring me. I’m having problems with this molar. He looked in my mouth and said oh. It’s just an inflammation and didn’t do a thing about it. If anyone out there would like to join me in a class action lawsuit against Sage dental let me know..This whole company is a scam. They’re very expensive and all they care about is selling you stuff you don’t need. My tooth did not need to be pulled, Sage dental said they was severe decay. If there was why wouldn’t they show me the tooth.? if you value your money, do not go here. Don’t go to any sage dental.
Scammers
Very very horrible. This is a company that wants to take peoples money but the service is horrible. Today i went into sage dental for a regular cleanup. It's been a year since my last visit and they had to do the check up again. I was well aware i had crowding and that i would need a orthodontist. This all happened during my first visit but today when i went in it wasn't that long of a wait but i went in and sat. They did all the x rays and everything and they told me i would need to pay out of pocket for the checkup, regular cleaning. I told them my insurance covers them all and i won't pay a single penny. They said your insurance is a discount insurance and said they will check with the office staff. After 20 mins of waiting they come back saying yes it covers and told me to sign. They did the x rays and went somewhere. Then my regular dentist who does my cleaning didn't come at this point. Some random dude whose a hygienist checked my teeth and apparently said i need to do ginger vitasus cleanup. He explained me all those stuff and went. The nurse said we need to wait for another doctor to come and do the cleanup. So i said okay and waited there 15 mins for another person to come and check my teeth and went. I still didn't understand what was going on. They said i have crowding and i will need to be recommended to a orthodontist. I told them i was aware of this during my first visit. They gave me the referral and tried charging me $475.99 for the ginger vitasus cleaning. I told them i don't want to do that but do the regular cleaning. Another dude told me they can do that without the ginger viatus but the nurse i was assigned told me they cannot do that without doing the ginger vitasus. The interesting part is when my regular cleaning doctor came and told me they will remove some pricing but it came out the door to $200 something. I told them i don't want to do the ginger vitasus. They were trying to force me to do something that won't have an effect for a long time. I told them i was uncomfortable with the pricing and told them i will walk out. They didn't do my regular cleaning. Tried charging me for office fee, checkup fee. Why are we adding more fees to some treatment you guys didn't offer but gave me a piece of paper that explains the pricing?? They didn't do my cleanup and i walked out. I requested the office staff to email my x-rays and they said they will do it tomorrow because they are busy?? They weren't busy except on their phones and talking about the lawn mowers. This is very unacceptable and i won't be returning back to your Wesley chapel location. I won't be a returning sage dental customer and will look elsewhere for my future dental visits. I sat there 2 hours without a cleanup but a run around. This company is running a scam business and charging for something they didn't do.
Sage Dental’s Pembroke Pines office is…
Sage Dental’s Pembroke Pines office is very disorganized and poorly managed. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone on July 9, 2025, only to be incorrectly told by Darline Caliste that my grandson’s bill was paid in full. I called twice more, and the office manager, Kayla, claimed they were too busy to email the statement—something that takes just a minute. I was going to refer another mom, but I’ve changed my mind.
Dental nightmare
I went there for root canal. Of course they overcharged me. Although they are part of my Dental Plan they have access to pre-estimates they use their own overcharging calculations. My eye and jaw swollen days after procedure. After 3 days calling the office the person at front desk said dentist could not speak to me on phone. I went the office she told me if I didn't pay $42 that I couldn't speak to dentist. Well 3 days later I went to ER and was admitted to hospital. Do your research before going to the one in Poinciana FL.
Overcharged for wisdom teeth extraction
In December of 2024 I brought my daughter to see Dr Jamie Luria at the Sage Dental clinic in Coral Springs. We were referred there by our regular dentist of the Pembroke Pines location because he was going on vacation, and my daughter needed it done quickly. We asked what the charges would be and they informed us that a regular extraction was $200+ and if the tooth was impacted it would be $400+.
When we got to Dr Luria’s office we were told that all four wisdom teeth were impacted (although only one was causing her pain). We were given a Statement of Services Rendered totaling $3799.95. I was shocked at the amount for a routine dental procedure that most people undergo but as my daughter was in pain and we were pressed for time (she goes to school out of state and her winter break was ending) I had no choice but to pay (they won’t do anything until they get paid up front).
When I got home and looked at the itemized Statement I noticed some discrepancies. I checked their most recent payment schedule online and compared the codes. Based on their own published prices, I was overcharged by about $1,200.
I called Sage customer service several times and spoke with a Robin Cyrus, who said she would get back to me (she didn’t, I had to chase her), she would have someone more senior call me (never did), etc. I spoke with her several times, with no results except for empty promises. Her job seems to be keeping people away, not handling complaints.
I checked for online complaints with the BBB for Sage dental and saw numerous complaints against them, some of which have been resolved. After five months I’m still waiting. They do not care about their customers.
Sage dental Wellington
Sage dental Wellington: I started process for partial dentures September 2024. I received the wrong partials December 2024. I returned the partials. I have been trying to receive a refund for the wrong partials since December 2024. The office constantly makes up lies and excuses as to the status of my refund. The office has no intentions on refunding me even though it was a lab error. I have currently filed a grievance with my insurance. I am currently filing a complaint against them with the Florida board of dentistry and I am currently contacting an attorney to assist me with getting a refund. I did not want the suitation to go this far. However I do not have a choice because I feel that they have scammed me and the insurance company and instead of refunding me they choose to constantly lie and avoid the suitation.
Sage Dental of Wellington is one of the worst Dental office to go to for any type of dental work. They are a complete scam and customers should be aware of their office.
They will lie and tell you that you need certain procedures that you do not need.
WORST DENTAL/ MEDICAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
Like others have posted before me if I could give the sage dental office in east ft lauderdale and "Dr" Jamie Luria a 0 it would still be too high of a score. Worst medical or dental experience I've ever had in my life. Id say it felt like a used car dealership but that would be an insult to used car dealerships. "Dr" Jamie couldnt wait 2 minutes for my insurance info to show up and was more concerned about running out for his 1.5 hour lunch. Was there for almost 2 hours so he could rush through a wisdom tooth extraction which took 5 minutes. Local anesthesia hadnt even fully set in yet before he started ripping the tooth out of my mouth. His only concern was finishing as fast as possible. Im now in more pain than I was before ripping the tooth out. Avoid this place like the plague.
Beware of Sage Dental
Beware, of Sage Dental Pinecrest billing practices. Sage charges for procedures not received (Phantom charges). After viewing my last 2 billing statements, I was falsely charged for many procedures I didn’t receive, approx. $800-$1,000 falsely charged. Everyone should read reviews of Sage Dental (300+ negative reviews) It seems this is normal practice for Sage Dental. Everyone should ask questions before each procedure. Ask for print-outs of cost. They charge $215 for each antibiotics delivery for pockets, going rate with other Dentists is $35-$65 each delivery. I sent a letter to the CEO, no response. I’m filing formal complaints with the regulating authorities…
