I'm staying at the Kukun on Av Insurgentes sur, Mexico city.
I arrived and you need a code to get into your room, I was never sent one. I talked to the girl in the lobby,( who spoke no English at all) she had no idea about the code..??! She ended up calling her boss who finally gave me the code.
While I don't go around expecting everyone to speak English, it may be helpful, in an international hotel in a major city to hire staff who speak a little bit ( I witnessed other guests struggling too) and know how to get into your room!
The space is lovely! Everything seems brand new! The rooftop is amazing! Lovely lounge and view of the city up there.
Another peev was nowhere is there a wifi password! I asked the girl in the lobby ( again, no clue) she gave me the password for the lobby which doesn't work in my room. I went on the site, couldn't find it. Very annoying.
The stove is impossible to understand and there are NO instructions! Kitchen is small but great otherwise, with everything you need. Lovely comfy bed!
All in all with these tweaks it could be the perfect place to stay at a great price in the middle of everything in CDMX.

The calculator system was helpful.
The important part, where Kukun offered to find a professional for me, has produced total silence. This is the opposite of helpful.

Looking for a project cost estimator. This program kept guiding me through dialogs having nothing to do with what I was trying to do without the ability to define MY project with MY constraints.

I am a real estate Broker and was testing it out for my clients. It worked great. I especially liked the cost comparison to the added value to the home, since many homeowners believe that they should get 100% of their investment capital back, which as a real estate professional, I know not to be true. This is a neutral 3rd party endorsement for me.

I'm sure there must be a glitch in the system but my first attempt to create a remodel estimate failed as it was assigned a 0 $ amount.

When I could find nothing else even close...kukun was the golden ticket!!!!

This is a great tool to give you an idea of what a remodel could possibly cost. I think it needs to include a few more options, like slider doors in the window section. Other than that, this actually eased my mind on the cost of remodeling a small condominium.

I guess if you had no idea how much your remodel would cost this
sight would be good for you . I didnt really feel like I learned anything new , but I only used it for a few minutes. I will go back and use it again ---to explore more .

The product really serves a great need, but it's shortcomings are letting me know what the accuracy of the data is (how are you picking the costs and why, what is the margin of error) so I can feel better about relying on the numbers. Secondarily, it needs more projects and items. For example, I wanted to know how much it might cost to move an HVAC duct, move a door frame and build out a new one and replace the plaster, etc etc. More items and it can be my go-to for all of my to-do list renovations.

Was excited to use it. Lots of bugs, discovered only after i spent a lot of time entering info. Not planning to try again.
