I signed up for a 3 month subscription
I signed up for a 3 month subscription, which was a gift for my daughter. All of the boxes arrived late and we were underwhelmed by the contents. Additionally, despite the clear language of a "3 month subscription", 2 additional boxes were sent. According to the email I just received, "subscription automatically renews after the initial three-month plan", which was never communicated to me. This is a deceptive practice.

You signed up for a recurring 3 month plan, which automatically renews unless cancelled. This is outlined at checkout and again in the welcome email sent after sign up. I understand that this can sometimes be overlooked, and I can see that your subscription has now been fully cancelled and no further boxes will be sent.
There was a short period where a small number of shipments experienced delays. We communicated updates to members by email and in our Facebook community and adjusted our shipping process. Our February boxes shipped on time and are already arriving with members, and the same schedule is planned going forward.
Regarding the contents, we stand very proudly over the items included. We have received a very large number of recent five star reviews from members who have loved the surprises and the Irish makers featured. Of course every box will not suit every personal taste.
The sterling silver shamrock necklace, valued at over $70, was included as a complimentary gift specifically for customers who chose the recurring 3 month membership plan. Customers who selected the one time non renewing gift option did not receive this promotional gift, and both options were available at checkout.
We have been sending MyIrelandBoxes from Dingle since 2013 and we take great pride in the care, authenticity, and Irish craftsmanship included in every box. If you would ever like to discuss your experience directly, you are very welcome to contact me at help@myirelandbox.com.

My wonderful sister has gifted me the MyIrelandBox. What a wonderful and beautiful surprise when I received my first box. All the items you can tell have been carefully chosen for the box. They are all absolutely beautiful and some are stunning, just depends which piece you are looking at. I really love receiving a recipe in each to try. On December 8 order
On December 8, 2025, I ordered two gift boxes for my sisters with an expected delivery around the first of January 2026.
They have never received the January gift boxes as of today, February 5.
I have emailed, multiple times and nobody chooses to respond back with any help. This is the address, the owner of the company, directs you to use.
I called dozens of time and the default says, “User Busy”.
Today, they charged my account for the February gift boxes!
I regret getting involved with this company based on the lack of/terrible customer service.
Be aware of what you might be in for.
PS..my sister just called and the January gift box arrived today, February 5.

am very sorry to hear how stressful this experience has been for you and your sisters. January shipping was unfortunately impacted by unexpected U.S. customs queries on one of the items included in the gift boxes. These required additional documentation for some parcels, which caused delays beyond our control. We shared updates with members through our weekly Postcards from Ireland emails and our member Facebook group explaining the situation and the steps we were taking to resolve it.
I am relieved to hear that the January gift box has now safely arrived, although I completely understand that it was later than expected.
Regarding customer service, we do reply to all emails received at our help address. Have you checked your spam or junk folder for a reply? Had you emailed?
Without an order number or email address linked to your review, I am unable to locate your correspondence to investigate further. If you would like to contact us again directly with your order details, I would be very happy to personally review this for you and please note in your email to us that you have left this review. Our email address is help@myirelandbox.com.
I would also like to reassure readers that February boxes have already shipped significantly earlier than January as we worked quickly to prevent a repeat of those delays.
We have been sending Irish-made gifts worldwide since 2013 and customer care is extremely important to us. I am genuinely sorry this experience caused concern.

Be patient it’s well worth it!
I visited Ireland back in July-August of 2025. I immediately felt a sense of home the second I stepped off the plane. We experienced so many beautiful places and people on our visit. So when I came home and I saw that My Ireland Box existed, I knew I had to sign up. I signed up the end of November and received my first box in December and it was lovely. It included a beautiful scarf from Mucros Weavers, an ornament for my Christmas tree, a beautiful Grá necklace, and several other goodies. I had so many compliments on each of the things that I’ve received that I’m able to wear.
This box is a great idea for anyone who is looking for a touch of Ireland because in it, the founder writes a little book each month for you to experience the countryside of Ireland and some of the locals. I love getting these each month and having pictures of places, I’ve been show up in the books and gifts from some of the places visited while we were there. I just received my January box a little late lol but it is coming from overseas so shipping takes around two weeks but everything in it is a wonderful gift.
The bonus is, I am able to share some of these stories and pictures and gifts with friends and family as well. I cannot wait to come back to Ireland for another visit. We plan to bring our son but until then we’re able to enjoy these little touches of Ireland and the stories that go with them!

I love every item in this delightful…
I love every item in this delightful box. The bracelet is precious since I have earrings and necklace matching. The diary and pen are a great way to document my 79th year on earth and the customs and story telling with lore. I read it cover to cover. I feel that I’m there along side. My husband understands my love of Ireland. I would move there to join my grandmother’s kin however I would miss my grands. Thanks so much..☘️

It’s snowy out and my box came just in time
It’s snowy out and my box came. Inside I found some socks that are warm and comfortable. A beautiful chunky bracelet that my daughter snatched from my hands before I finished reading about the unique and beautiful stones. I got a journal and a pen to write my days in. So far I’m keeping track of my mother. She has dementia and this will make it easier for me to know what we have done and what works best for her. Her diet and meds also listed so I know I’ve done those too. I’m curious what the pen says on it. I keep trying to look it up but haven’t deciphered it yet. But it writes beautiful. Thanks for bringing Ireland to us.

Thank you so much Jill, and I am so glad you asked about the pen. The writing on it is called Ogham, which is one of the oldest forms of writing in Ireland. The word on the pen is Solas, which means light.
We chose that word very carefully for the January box. In Ireland, January is traditionally a quiet, reflective time after Christmas when the days are still dark, and the idea of light symbolises hope, warmth, kindness, and gentle new beginnings for the year ahead.
It was our little message of joy and comfort from Ireland, and I am very touched that it is helping you in such a meaningful way.

My Ireland box
My experience with MyIreland box was amazing. From the beginning they were friendly, helpful and kind. The explanation of the box made me excited to receive it. As time wore on, I was concerned the box had got lost, but the people from my Ireland box reassured me that it would come. They answered all my texts and kept up a positive reassuring message. They even sent me a final message confirming my box would be their that week. When it arrived. I was so excited

My Ireland Box monthly surprises...
I received January's My Ireland Box on January 20th and I was delighted by how special and thoughtful the surprises were.
I especially liked the note regarding the three sisters diary and joyful moments companion. It really hit home and I feel that an important message was shared.
This was my second favorite box to date. My favorite was the one with the beautiful little painting.
I look forward to receiving my box each month and can't wait for the treats to be included again.

I love that you mentioned the framed artwork too. That piece was extra special to create. It was a beautiful print that was carefully framed and wrapped by the gallery team in Cork, and it truly was a lovely collaboration between Dingle and Cork to bring that scene to life. We adored how it captures the feeling of standing inside a cosy Irish cottage while looking out toward the wild Atlantic beyond. We will work with that gallery again very soon ;).

I love every minute of opening MyIreland Box
I love every minute of opening MyIreland boxes. You can tell how much care and thought goes into each box. From the artisans to the wrapping. In a world that seems so dismal some days - there is such joy in just opening this box. I had an issue with a box not being delivered due to a postal strike in my country. When MyIreland Box could not get a sufficient answer from the courier, they made right on things, from their end, right away and the missing box arrived on my doorstep soon after. It turned out to be my favourite box yet. If you wonder whether you should give MyIreland Box a try - do your heart a favour and do it. You won’t be disappointed.

Special connections
I have been getting these boxes for almost a year and have been delighted with each one. Surprised is a major positive but also receiving things you use every day or can put where you see them every day make it very special. I like the connection made with people I would never have known otherwise. I ran into trouble getting a box in November but the problem was solved satisfactorily. I wouldn’t want to give up this pleasure.

Hi there,
I would like to share my experience in a few words (if that's even possible)🙂 I've been receiving MIB since last April and not only have i gained a lot of knowledge about my Irish ancestry but I've become a family member with the MIB community. Every month the sights and smells of Ireland arrive at my door. I've been to Ireland twice and each time I leave, a piece of me stays. But with the box arriving every month, it helps in such a big way.
I feel that the items are worth way more than what I pay for them each month. And the time and effort Katharine puts into creating this treasure is mind blowing. The booklet she creates takes me back to Ireland, the recipe cards are large and very beautiful and every month I get to watch wonderful videos sent to my email. It would take too long to list the beautiful high quality items I've received, but just know the MIB is pure joy for me and my family. Thank you so much, Katharine and team.

Customer service is not easy to work…
Customer service is not easy to work with. I did not receive 2 boxes, one of which was the whole reason I subscribed. Starting to think subscription services are a joke. If I had read the reviews first, I never would have signed up.
