Phone got nicked, but as the thief had turned the phone off, find my iPhone didn’t work.
So I used my laptop hastily to see if I could track the SIM card or something. Stumbled upon this website and as was stressed about the phone and as it was stating £0.48 to track it. I thought what could go wrong.
Website gave a complete guess about the phones location and a load of random info.
Managed to get my phone; no thanks to this awful website.
But forgot about it, then checked my banking app once I got my phone back and found 3 additional payments. Two for £0.47 and one for £39.95.
So I immediately got on the website to contact them requesting a cancellation and a refund.
I’m waiting to hear back from them. Will most likely call my bank (Nationwide) to cancel the payments as are still pending.
But don’t be haste as the website is bollocks. Wished I had checked. Definitely learnt my lesson.

I would strongly recommend checking your bank account carefully if you have used this service.

On April 20, 2026, I made a small payment of EUR 0.62 to INFOCHECK-HELP.COM. The payment was successful.

Four months later, on August 20, 2026, I suddenly received an attempted charge of EUR 249.00 from MYINFOCHECK.COM. The transaction was declined because there were not enough funds on my card.

On the same day, at approximately 12:57, there were two additional attempted charges:

* EUR 0.62
* EUR 0.63

I had already cancelled my subscription, although I cannot currently verify the exact time of cancellation because I cancelled it from my work computer.

The EUR 249 charge was NOT successfully completed, but the attempted charges are very concerning.

I have now sent InfoChecker a formal GDPR request asking them to provide all personal data they hold about me, information about my subscription, payment records, the legal basis for the charges, the payment processor involved, and confirmation that my data and subscription will be deleted/cancelled where legally possible.

I am currently waiting for their response.

I am posting this so that other users are aware and check their bank accounts carefully, especially for small initial charges followed by unexpected payment attempts.

I will update this review if I receive a meaningful response from the company.

I couldn't find one personI was looking for! I was on a trial and they charged me $49.95 withing a day! I got nothing... Not one piece of information and no location! Now I can't find them to cancel. This is a scam and I wish I would have looked first for Myinfocheck (Trust pilot) same thing I guess! I want my money back!

Scammed avoid, charges £0.48 3 times and then try to char£39.99. Avoid avoid. Unfortunately I have to give them 1 star.

Would give it a 0. Scam website. Deducted 3 times from my account on the same day. Had to block my card and get a new one.

they will want you to pay a dollar at first then 24 hours later they will charge you a subscription fees and will keep charging you untill you cancel, even then they still have your card and will charge you until you cancel your card and get a new one

Tried to reverse check 1 number, didn't get any info apart from it was in USA somewhere. Cancelled subscription and have been repeatedly charged £0.47. Haven't succeeded in stopping this yet, even after 2 or 3 weeks. DO NOT USE, IT'S A SCAM!!

Pretty bad experience. They advertise the information is free, but apparently if you don't watch out they automatically charge you a subscription of 39,95, which you need to unsubscribe if you don't want it. If you don't they will charge you the same amount the next months until you cancel. Pretty expensive if you just were looking to locate your telephone. In my opinion not a trustworthy company.

Jeg er blevet opkrævet flere små beløb dagligt. Jeg har brugt tjenesten en gang, men har tilsyneladende bundet mig til mere. Det er IKKE i orden.

I only needed to check one phone number, then cancelled immediately. Now I've seen them continue to take money out of my debit card. I had to cancel that card and order a new one! They lie like a rug....at least a rug serves a purpose! DO NOT USE THESE SCANMERS!

Scam company, tried to take 39.95 out of our account, luckily our bank declined it. 3 payments of 47p were taken out a few days later. We emailed to cancel and an email was sent to say no more money would be taken out of our account. 2 days later another 2 payments were taken out. Phoned our bank and they told us to delete our card from Google Pay straight away, as that is the only way to stop the transactions. Blocking the card alone would not stop them taking money out. Card now blocked and new card being sent out. Was told I can put the new card back into Google Pay when it arrives.
