I booked my car in for a service and wanted the windshields reattached.When I rang up to see if my car was ready, was told they were having trouble with them, but to come and collect the car . I arrived to a mechanic trying to reattach them . I walked up to him and just stated are they being difficult and was met with shit fu…king blah blah . I understand it was hot and he was probably tired , but it was really inappropriate to speak to a customer like that . He wasn’t swearing at me but at the job . I said ok then and went inside to pay . I mentioned it to the service desk guy and he said he would have a word . I wouldn’t even have done this review if then as I went back to the car the mechanic said oh don’t take it to heart . Not, I apologise for using language at you . Then I said would it be easier to take them off ? He said to me have you ever driven a car without windshields, as if I was some naive teenager . I told him I had been driving for 40 yrs and this was the first car I’d had with windshields. He attitude was patronizing and I really think if I’d been male he would not have said that . Sick of patronising middle aged men’s attitudes to women . Won’t be going back !

I have been going to this store for years. I have dealt with Alfred at the front desk. Alfred listens and advises on any of my queries. He is a no-nonsense man, and I trust his advice. This time (20/12/24), he made room for my car's needs due to my living 600 km away. I appreciated this very much. Yes, I live far away, but my car goes to mycar.

I booked and paid up front for a service - at Midland. On the day - got a call to say the oil filter delivery will be 3 hours late. Why hadn't they already ordered/received - the booking was nearly a week earlier (no risk I had already paid). Then they called to say air filter and pollen filter needed replacing (could do for extra $185) - when I said no, then they said oil filter was further late delivery - what should have been a 2.5 hour service took over 4 hours. Now I feel I can't trust them and worry if they actually did the service - because I wouldn't cave in to additional work. They obviously are not interested in repeat service - just want to milk extra money and then make things difficult when you dont give them extra. At least other places just accept a "No" but still deliver the service.
Find somewhere else for car service.

Not only do I get my vechiles serviced here so do my children, ainsley alone is an asset to midland my car . He is beyond helpful. Makes sure you understand the issues and explains everything. He goes above and beyond. 👌

The workshop extremely busy Saturday morning yet they made time to see to a flat tyre, which had to be replaced with new tyre after inspection.
I was very relieved to have the situation rectified.

Excellent Service despite 3 staff down

Booked in for wheel align balance and rotation on ranger. Was still pulling left after. Went back to the guys they worked at it twice to fix it at no extra charge to me. Discovered it was steering box west. Great service have been going there for 12 years never been let down. Thanks again guys appreciate it very much.

i had to hang around for the service to be completed. They completed the work sooner that quoted . I was given a detailed explanation on the condition of the car

Staff worked with courtesy under hot, difficult circumstances even though they were understaffed.

Wonderful staff always ready to listen and assist. My service needs were planned to fit in with my pay periods. So considerate and understanding.

Mechanics do an excellent job but when there is too many jobs going at the same time working on one car at a time to get the job done just isnt a possibility
I needed a service plus brakes on all wheels replacing
even though had problems with getting the correct rotors it still should have been done within one day
Going over 2 days caused problems and times issues to pick up grandchildren from school

Happy with service and tyres
Car is running smoothly and pleasure to drive.

Need to work on the phone system. Called store at 3pm but automated system operates nationally and said the store was closed. No way to contact directly. Great service in store pricing competitive.
