mycar Tyre & Auto - Marion Omdömen 

I visited Mycar Marion based on a recommendation. This was my second service with them, which cost around $2,000 and required the car to be kept for two days. Unfortunately, the day after I picked up the vehicle, I noticed a liquid leak coming from the gasket—an issue that wasn’t present prior to the service.
I returned to Mycar, and they informed me that the gasket had not been properly plugged, requiring the car to be kept in the workshop for another two days. What made the situation worse was the lack of communication—I had to follow up myself each time to get updates, as no one from Mycar called to keep me informed.
Additionally, despite the extended time without my vehicle, no replacement or courtesy car was offered, which I found very disappointing and inconvenient.

A few weeks ago the car was there to have some work done and the mechanics outlined the remaining work which was to replace 3 covers which they had identified was causing oil dripping coming from the engine, which they advised would take a day to complete and estimated $1000. My wife and I saved up $1000 to do this and took the day off work and children from school and dropped the car off Friday morning at 9:30AM and then went shopping at Marion shopping center. At 1:30PM I was called saying they had just looked at the car and had just identified the issues - as they were not aware that these issues had already been identified, quoted and in their systems already. He said they could fix the issue but needed the car until Wednesday (5 days...) I said I could not do this as this was our only car and live in Mt Barker and questioned why they did not just do what they said they would do i.e. replace the 3 covers they quoted for and why they now needed the car for 5 days. He had no answer to this and just kept pushing to leave the car until Wednesday. I said this is not what had been discussed previously and was very disappointed and upset that they had messed us around (these actions affected 4 people...) as mentioned we live in Mt Barker and very rarely go to Marion. The ONLY reason we have continued to go to MyCar even now living in Mt Barker for 14+ years is because the service has been so good but this incident really showed a lack of customer service, communication, ownership etc. and was a massive let down. We had done EVERYTHING they had asked us to do and however they didn't do anything they said they would do and instead of working with us decided to push us away by saying they could not do anything unless they had the car until Wednesday. It is now time to find another mechanic.

Fitted me in and hoping my tyre will not continue to deflate.

The previous set of tyres were supplied and fitted by MyCar lasted 60,000 km. So I had no problem getting them fitted again. The price was great too

helpful, friendly and nothing of being to much trouble

Very happy these guys did an excellent job. Needed to have my car back by 1pm for a funeral and the guys were able to service the car and change the tyres to accomodate my needs. The car feels brand new again, thank you!

Very efficient and customer oriented

I had a puncture the previous night to my commodore.
Arrived with out a booking the next morning, they found a space for me, assessed the tire as not repairable, too much sidewall damage. Told me I could leave the car and they would fit the new tyre. Fitted me into their busy schedule. They did and it took less time than estimated. And the cost $0.00, because I had bought the tyre from them previously and they warranted it against punctures.
