Great food & treat u like family.
My fiancé & I visited Mulberry Street Restaurant, 739 Rahway Ave, Woodbridge NJ on Thursday 5/14/26 for the 1st time. We had been at Woodbridge Center Mall & were searching on my phone for Restaurants in the area. We saw this Italian Restaurant & decided to go find it. Very glad we did. On entering, we were greeted by the owner/chef Paul who was standing behind the bar. He said we can sit at whatever table we wished. It was lunchtime at 2:45 pm when we arrived & were pleasantly surprised by the white tablecloths on each of the tables & the nice music being played. Paul came from behind the bar & proceeded to have a very nice conversation with us, explaining that he owned the Restaurant for 24 years. He spoke to us as though we were family. Eleni, our waitress, was very pleasant & took our drink orders while we looked over their vast menu options. We both ordered Shrimp Bisque to start with. It was delicious with a lot of pieces of Shrimp in it, that we usually don’t see at other Restaurants. My fiancé chose Red Snapper Francaise as her entree & I chose Fettuccini Alfredo. All of the food was delicious, & as Paul, the owner had previously told us, the portions were very large, to the point that we had to take half of each home. I would without hesitation highly recommend Mulberry Street Restaurant if you’re looking for nice ambiance, delicious food, & extremely personable owner & waitress. We’ll definitely be returning there.
