Muista is a home office furniture design brand behind the original Muista chair concept. Founded in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2017 by designer Aurimas Lažinskas and his cousin Gytis Staras, Muista's aim is to change the approach of long sitting at work desks, to encourage flexibility and movement and make sitting a more enjoyable experience.
Introduced for the first time at the Habitare 2018 design fair in Helsinki, Finland, Muista achieved big interest and positive feedback, both from health professionals and members of the public. Since then it was successfully showcased at various design fairs including Cologne (IMM), Paris (Maison & Objet), Vienna, Zürich, Hamburg (Blickfang), and sold the Muista ergonomic desk chair to hundreds of happy customers.

Love the chair, Arrived quickly, packed well and despite getting a discount due to "too much varnish"
on an inside leg, we could not tell any difference. Best of all it feels fabulous to sit on.

The chair is a perfect addition to my home

Beautiful and modern in my interior. It’s nice that you can move while sitting so you don’t get backpain that fast. Only disadvantage is that it cannot change hight. So in terms of sitting at a desk, the desk will need the right hight.

Against all odds, I'm loving it
I received my Muista chair roughly a month from the moment of purchase. I wasn't fully convinced that this "rocking" chair would be for me but, as it happens, it is indeed. My body posture has improved very quickly, and I'm more conscious about my overall posture all the time. I bought one of the cheapest chairs (I find the price a bit steep...) and I find it quite elegant, well-designed and sturdy. Seating on a moving chair may not be for everybody, but, in my case, I'm loving it!
