I love their film catalog, and it's a good reference for what movies are great to watch, but I'm subscribed to Mubi Philippines, and most titles are not available in my country. It doesn't make sense that I'm paying a premium for fewer movies. I will keep my account for movie references, but I'll probably cancel when my annual subscription is over.

Ich habe Mubi nach 5 Jahren Pause (Aufgrund mieser Stream-Qualität) wieder aktiviert und bin jetzt sehr zufrieden. Die Filme werden hochauflösend und ohne Buffer-Probleme abgespielt, somit ist Mubi für mich das perfekte Angebot, da jenseits vom Einheitsbrei.

SCAM. It is impossible to cancel. I cancelled my subscription a long time ago and I don get any service if I try to watch a movie, but I have been charged for more than one year the monthly amount without consent. On top of that it is impossible to contact them to stop the payments.

I have fell in love with the catalog of movies of MUBI. But, for some ungodly reason the quality of the stream goes down to 240p and I cannot change it anywhere. I have 300mb/s download speed, that should be more than enough to at least have a stable 720p (which I have, in any other streaming platform).
At this point, I'd rather go to MUBI to check the suggestion for today, and search for that movie anywhere else.

App freezes continuously on my Samsung TV. While watching 'Close', the movie froze 17 times. The app shut down 6 of those times and i had to shut the app off and log back in. The other 11 times, i had to wait up to 4/5 minutes for the movie to unfreeze and continue playing. Luckliy it's the trial perdiod so i'll be cancelling immediately.

Arnaque totale! J'ai dû résilier par 3 fois avant qu'ils cessent de prendre mon fric. Aucun moyen de les rejoindre! J'ai dû leur écrire 20 mails, je n'ai eu aucune réponse et il n'existe aucun no. de téléphone pour les rejoindre!

Jeg kan faktisk godt lide MUBI. Man får adgang til forskellige og anderledes film, man ikke kan få adgang til andre steder. Der er dog to ting, der trækker gevaldigt ned:
1) Det er ikke særlig mange af MUBI’s film, der har danske undertekster, hvilket gør, at man skal være rigtig stærk i engelsk, hvis man vil se de øvrige film.
2) Prisen er alt for høj, når man sammenligner med andre streamingtjenester. Det koster 99 kr. om måneden eller 828 kr. om året. Når man tænker på, at man kan få blandt andet Disney+, HBO og SkyShowtime, hvor alt er med danske undertekster, til en billigere pris, så synes jeg ikke, man får nok for pengene.

Så indtil der kommer et godt tilbud, vil jeg se mine film på en anden streamingtjeneste.

Please please please people be aware! Complete scam. I stupidly signed up without looking at reviews. I signed into the 7 day FREE trial. Wouldn't play the movie I wanted to watch, had an error message. I then cancelled out of free trial 5/10 minutes later. I then got charged not 11.99 as advertised after 7 day trial but 16.99.... the very same day I signed up for FREE trial. Its not a free trial , its a scam!!! And i went on to make sure i won't be charged monthly but I'm considered a non member so technically have no prescription but been charged non the less. I didn't even get a movie out of it!!! STAY CLEAR. BE AWARE.COMPLETE SCAM. DO NOT SIGN UP. UNLAYFUL CHARGES ON ACCOUNT.

MUBI makes it extremely difficult to cancel and I don't mean the pause versus cancel subscription options. Between the error messages and nearly impossible to reach customer service team, it feels like trying to get out of a timeshare. The only way to really cancel your subscription is to dispute the charges with your bank.

Tried to get MUBI as a present from my smartphone: an error message showed up 5 times in different browsers, and they charged me for every iteration although I did not receive any email whatsoever. At the time of writing, I still don't have my money back. When managing to
finally order it from a browser (maybe I should have given up in retrospect), my friend didnt receive anything, although they charged me a sixth time. Total: 600$ and still no subscription. Do not recommend.

I signed up for mubi.com and was supposed to have 7-day free trial after which a payment would be taken. I am unable to access the service yet I am sure the company will take the money from me in the next few days. I am powerless to stop them because they appear to say I don't have an account so I can't cancel the subscription.
There is no customer service to speak of. Only an email to which no one responds. Why is this company allowed to operate without any kind of customer service?

MUBI seems to be a completely honest and reliable company. They do seem to have occasional glitches on their payment system. But whenever you point the problem out they'll refund back to your credit card very efficiently.

I just realised they have been taking money from my account for months. I subscribed once in November and cancelled it straight away. When I log on to the site it gives me the option to subscribe. I have no subscription yet they have taken money from me consistently. I am now dealing with the support but I don't hold out much hope after reading the comments here

Oltre ad essere una meravigliosa piattaforma in cui vedere film stupendi... hanno anche un ottimo servizio di assistenza. La mia esperienza con loro è perfetta. In un'occasione hanno capito la mia buona fede e mi son venuti incontro.

Pessimi, pessimi, pessimi! Mi hanno rubato più di 100 euro per un servizio di cui non ho mai usufruito. Ovviamente io sono stata troppo distratta ma loro inqualificabili e scorretti. Più di un anno fa avevo aderito a una promozione che consentiva di usufruire del servizio gratuitamente per un periodo di tempo. Terminato detto periodo ho dimenticato di dare la disdetta e gli addebiti sono iniziati ad arrivare in modo regolare.Me ne sono accorta mesi dopo e ho effettuato la procedura per la disdetta, tranquilla che fosse andata in porto. Ieri sera invece mi sono resa conto che non solo la disdetta non è avvenuta ma da dicembre il costo è aumentato passando a 11,99 €. A quel punto ho rifatto la procedura di disdetta, stavolta ricevendo una mail di commiato.
Oggi ho tentato di eliminare l'account ed è arrivata la sorpresa:una scritta mi ha avvertita che prima di disattivare l'account devo disdire l'abbonamento, cosa che in teoria dovrei aver già fatto. Ho mandato diverse mail all'assistenza clienti ma non ho ricevuto risposta alcuna e tutto questo somiglia ad una truffa più che a un film d'autore!

In breve ho aderito all'offerta di 7 giorni di prova gratuiti con Mubi. Prima della scadenza, non soddisfatto e volendo disdire, ho ricevuto altri trenta giorni di prova gratuiti.
Bene dopo solo una settimana mi hanno scalato 11.99€.
Il servizio clienti non risponde.
Paypal da parte sua fa orecchie da mercante.
