Me suscribí con toda la ilusión y mi decepción es total. Tienen un catálogo muy bueno de películas, pero de la mayoría lo único que podréis ver es el tráiler; para mí eso es engañar. Se supone que esas películas estarán disponibles en algún momento, no lo sé, la plataforma es confusa y tampoco explican nada. Todavía no he podido ver ni una película, todas las que me interesan no están disponibles (pero sí en su catálogo).
Mi consejo es suscribirse un único mes para probar, yo he cancelado ya mi cuenta.

ACTUALIZACIÓN: El servicio de atención al cliente me dice que MUBI, además de plataforma de streaming, quiere ser una base de datos de películas, por eso tienen en su web películas sólo con el tráiler, pero que no están ni van a estar disponibles. A mí me parece muy engañoso.

Arnaque à l'abonnement. Fuyez cette plateforme et ne leur donnez pas votre CB surtout.

The new interface and general navigations are horrible. It was better when they had one new film every day, and only 30 "now showing". Now there´s too many films at display without grouping them into genres. I've no idea if there are new films and if so, where they are. Also, I cannot remove films I have started to see, but stopped because I didn´t like them, very irritating. Not good!

MUBI SUCKS! I got the one month subscription and cancelled before the first month was up.......that was June of 2024. After cancelling every month since I finally contacted my bank and had them put a "Quit Payment" on the account. I have NEVER had such a hassle with a supposedly legitimate company. Very angry/frustrated!!!

Please, stop misleading people into thinking that you (Mubi) have a movie when you don't. That's unethical deceiving. Play fair! You keep doing that fooling!

Increasingly disappointed with limited choice of movies. Huge and interesting catalogue that is almost never available. The best is not the latest or weirdest. If it doesn't improve fast I will not be renewing and I know of many of a like mind

Mi associo a tutti quelli che dicono che continuano a pagare pur avendo disdetto l’abbonamento. A differenza loro io ho solo fatto il periodo prova, ma non ho mai confermato di voler andare avanti con l’abbonamento, tant’è vero che andando sul sito non ho alcun abbonamento attivo da poter disdire. A chiunque legge questi messaggi, non accettate il mese di prova perché poi rimarrete incastrati in un processo senza via di uscita. DISONESTI

Sono mesi che cerco di annullare l'abbonamento e ho fatto la disdetta più volte e scritto mail di reclamo a luglio, ma nulla, continuo a pagare ogni mese 11,99. Sul sito non riesco a trovare altri contatti che non sia la mail support, non so più come fare. Sono dei truffatori.

Dopo 1 mese di prova e eliminazione account visto i contenuti imbarazzanti mi hanno addebitato il mese pieno ho annullato il pagamento automatico tramite paypal,staremo a vedere pessimi...

Mubi uses dark patterns to make cancelling difficult and to make you think you have cancelled when you have not. Avoid this service, especially the free trials they offer. Scam.

Mubi vraagt iedere keer opnieuw om een abonnement af te sluiten terwijl ik al een abonnement heb.
Support reageert niet op mail.
Achteraf gezien het geld niet waard.

I was charged even though I cancelled their FREE TRIAL. Then, they ignored my complaintS.for their mistake! I sent many emails. Nothing! And, it's the only way to contact them. They will never respond! Apparently, I will never get my money back.
I would never recommend this company. I felt scammed.

If you try to cancel, then you get a sale price. Loyal customers, no discount. Customer retention tactic FAIL!

There was a link that said ""You can tell us what's wrong" and so I did. In very clear and concise language. Philippe A, the Mubi rep, responded to me providing canned cut and paste answers to questions that were never asked. Philippe A showed zero comprehension of the written word. How did Philippe A aquire a text based job with no reading comprehension? DISAPPOINTING for the human race, and Mubi.

Très peu de bons films. En revanche, pléthore de films LGBT et Queer. Une véritable obsession.

Les rares films de très grands réalisateurs comme Truffaut ou Godart sont des films sur les femmes ou la prostitution. Évidemment, on ne trouve aucun film avec Delon ou Depardieu – on se demande pourquoi. Justine Triet est à l'affiche, très étonnant...

Je reconnais qu'il existe de très bons films sur les relations LGBT, comme La vie d'Adèle ou les films d'André Téchiné... Mais de là à résumer l'ensemble du cinéma français à cette thématique, je trouve cela honteux et préjudiciable. De toute évidence, il y a de très bons films en dehors de cette thématique, comme dans toute thématique d'ailleurs.

La culture me semble asservie à l'extrême gauche sur ce site propagandiste... On vous montre ce que l'on veut vous montrer. Un cinéma d'auteur part pourtant du distinguo entre l'artiste et l'homme, entre le film et le politique, afin de pouvoir apprécier l'œuvre cinématographique. Ici, ce n'est pas le cas à mon sens.

Vorrei sapere quel signore che dice che c'è un servizio di supporto fantastico se cortesemente ci da il telefono si questi signori di mubi. L'app è indecifrabile: l'app del telefono non è collegata all'app della TV (sincronizzata) pertanto ba watchlist del Cell non centra nulla con quella della tv (Sony android TV) , la ricerca su app filtra per film o attore , quella della tv no. Attivi la ricerca vocale e non ne esci più.. insomma è inutilizzabile... Disdico.. saranno in fallimento

Ho fatto un periodo di prova di tre mesi a 1 euro poi disdetto ma mi hanno fatto pagare l' abbonamento mensile, che non ho mai sottoscritto né utilizzato.

I have subscribed for a free period in 2021, I thought I had cancelled right after. In 2024, I realized I have debited 9.99€/month from 2021 to 2023, then 11.99€/month untill 2024, for a total of ~400€ from 2021 to 2024!!

All this without a single email from Mubi.

They even kept debiting my card while my card got expired in 2023 (it is possible, I checked with my bank...).

This is what they told me:

"Once again one of the terms, stated on the sign up page and in our Terms of Service, is that subscriptions automatically renew if they aren't canceled. It is also clarified that we do not send a notification for impending renewal periods."

"I am afraid we cannot refund further. But we would like to offer 24 months of free access, without risk of being charged again, as a manner to compensate. We can't compensate for these charges in any other manner. If you wish to receive this offer please let us know."

As I'm not the only one in this case, I strongly suspect that their subcription cancellation procedure is fake.

Abofalle. Üblicherweise kann man eine kostenlose Mitgliedschaft buchen, und direkt kündigen und trotzdem bis zum Ablauf der Mitgliedschaft die Vorteile nutzen. Aber nicht bei MUBI, hier wird das Abo direkt nach Kündigung geschlossen und ich konnte meine kostenlose Probewoche nicht nutzen. Der Hintergrund von MUBI ist natürlich, die Menschen in die Abofalle zu locken.
