This tire fitting company may damage your alloys!

I used this service to change a flat tire to their budget tire option, this costed £190.
Successfully they changed my tire but unfortunately the next day I had noticed a smooth scraped line around the majority of my alloy (too clean to have been a pavement scrape).

The damage was clearly achieved from careless/rushed use of the tire changer, which leads me to my warning…
If you care about your alloys i would advise you to not use this service, as they may leave a large scrape on them.
Luckily for me my alloys already had a couple scratches on them, and I had previously taken photos of it to get a quote for the detailing cost.
This also meant that I had proof of the new damage from the tire fitting!

As soon as I noticed the damage I messaged a member of the MS team, who first made a couple excuses and then arranged for a fitter to come and have a look that evening. The fitter never came, so I arranged for the next day, but yet again no one came.

The manager then returned my message and proceeded to bombard me with excuses and rude replies.
This led me to the conclusion that they weren’t going to come and assess the damage, fix it or provide financial compensation.

My last resort was this 1* review to warn everyone else of this company’s poor service and professionalism.

I am writing this to warn others about the shocking lack of basic skill and care from MS Tyres.

I called them out for a flat tyre. Their fitter inspected my old tyre, found zero punctures, and told me it was perfectly fine and to keep it as a spare. Despite this, they sold me an expensive new tyre suggesting it would be safer.

By the next morning, the brand-new tyre was completely flat to the rim. When the same fitter finally returned for a second visit, they diagnosed the actual issue: a structural crack on the inner side of the alloy wheel. The same fitter completely failed to check the bare wheel in the first instance —which was fully exposed right in front of them—and recklessly mounted a new tyre onto a broken, unsafe wheel.

To make matters worse, the fitter on the second visit couldn't even remove the wheel to put my original tyre back on because the bolts had been completely over-tightened or cross-threaded during the first visit. My car is now completely immobilised and left in a dangerous condition.

When escalated to customer service, they refused a full refund, falsely claiming the flat and misdiagnosis was my fault and trying to make excuses for their fitter's lack of basic care, attention and safety.

This is gross negligence and a total failure to provide a service with reasonable care and skill. I am reporting their unsafe practices to Trading Standards. Avoid this company at all costs.
