Did exactly what we wanted but at a price of £230 for 7 weeks....
We tried hotspots - and other wifi sharing but we needed the wifi plug in router.
It worked well enough while we waited for Sky to connect us to Full Fibre.
I would recommend using this company again as delivery was prompt (next day) and easy to use - just plug in ....

I would love to give a good review as it did arrive promptly and functioned as needing.
However, I could never recommend the company to anyone. Do not order if you cannot get to a post office the next day after your term ends. There is no leeway at all and they start taking money off your deposit straight away.
This should be made clearer at the point of purchase. You have less than 24 hours to return the device which doesn’t work at all for people with jobs who can’t get to a post office during opening hours.
My device was return the same week as the term ended, and it was unplugged the same day the term ended, but have had £30 removed from my deposit as punishment for going to work.
Very, very scammy.

This has been looked into, I can see that after your hire period ended, you had kept the device for 4 extra days beyond the hire period before it was dropped off at a post office. I can also see a customer service team member provided you with a hire extension link after your hire ended, so you could extend your hire for a longer period if the device was needed beyond the initial hire period. But I can see the hire extension was not paid for.
I have also crosschecked Royal Mail's return tracking page, and it shows you posted back the device 4 days after your hire ended
A hire can be extended if needed for longer than the period it was hired for by either emailing us to request a hire extension or using the hire extension link included in the hire confirmation email you received after placing a hire.
We apologise for any inconvenience experienced.

I have investigated this I can see you informed the customer service team that the speed was not as fast as you wanted it to be.
In situations where there is a local/regional telecom mast issue affecting the local area where a device is being used, our standard procedure involves investigating the speed issue first to identify the cause and see if it can be resolved remotely. We then check to see if an alternative network (which isn't experiencing a telecom mast issue at that local area) is available.
I can also see from the customer service inbox that a customer service team member had processed a replacement device which was delivered to your address.
However, I can see you had sent the customer service team an email at the end of your hire (18 days after receiving the replacement device) to inform them that the speed you were receiving on the replacement device was not satisfactory.
Unfortunately, we were not made aware of this, before your hire ended, so we were unable to investigate the issue during your hiring period.
Regarding your £50 Refundable deposit, I have checked our system and I can see that it was refunded to you when we received the device. You would have received an automated email once your deposit was issued (ensure to also check your junk folder).

I needed to use this in an emergency after my Virgin Media broadband went down with an estimated fix date of 10 days. Ordered at 9pm on a Tuesday to arrive on the Thursday; arrived 11.00am on the Thursday; internet was back up within 2 minutes of setting up. The speed was sufficient to watch football on the BBC iPlayer (this was during the World Cup). Deposit was refunded promptly after returning the device. Highly recommended if you are in similar need.

Honestly this was a lifesaver!
Honestly this was a lifesaver! I wish I'd known before we hit crisis point that this sort of service existed these days - it would have helped the moving house process (and inevitable open reach delays!) so much. I went for the 5G and it was definitely worth it to be able to run the house almost as if we had our broadband in. Very easy solution to an age old moving issue!

Does what it says on the tin.
The only thing I would have potentially liked to have seen was a reminder or prompt as to when my lease period was coming up to an end. It gave a small doubt in my mind that I would be charged a roll over if I didn’t return the device.
That being said - I did return the device, it was quickly received and acknowledged with my deposit paid back within a couple of days.
All in all a good service
