I genuinely feel like I was scammed by this company.
I called them for a mold inspection because I already knew I had mold and wanted a professional assessment. When they arrived, they clearly had no interest in actually inspecting anything. They barely looked at the area, and I had to push them just to get a minimal opinion on how serious the issue was.
After maybe three seconds of looking, their response was:
“Yeah, you’ve got mold. How would you like to pay for the inspection today—cash or card?”
That was it.
I paid over $100 for someone to tell me something I already knew, with zero tools, zero measurements, zero explanation, and zero professionalism.
For comparison, I called another inspector afterward. He showed up with proper instruments, wore protective gear, spent 30 minutes explaining the situation in detail, gave me a reasonable quote—and didn’t charge me a cent for the inspection.
The difference was night and day.
Avoid this company unless you’re comfortable paying premium prices for absolutely no service. I would never use them again and strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I contacted Mould Pro to do a mould inspection. I advised him over the phone that there were no visible signs of mould as remediation had been conducted at my rental property, but I believed that it had been unsuccessful. He then booked an inspection. He told me that, as there were no visible signs of mould I would have to spend over $2500.00 for testing, even though I had told him over the phone that there were no visible signs of mould. He looked over the place very quickly and then charged me for the inspection. When I followed up and asked for the inspection report, he sent me a quote for mould sampling. When I questioned why I received that instead of the inspection report, he tried to gaslight me by telling me he had advised me beforehand and at the time of the inspection that he could not report if there were no visible signs of mould. This is not true. I would not recommend Mould Pro to anyone.
