Absolute waste of time if you want to buy a car from these cowboys,had mine 2 day and it ended up back with them with a faulty gearbox.
They had the car just over a month and I had to ring and ring and ring to try and get progress reports on it, they ever once rang me back to tell me what was happening with my car, then when I got it back they gave some excuse as to why the paperwork wasn't with it to prove the work was done. Absolute shambles of a place to deal with after you have spent your money....... Avoid.

I bought a car from them in March, did a part exchange. When they came to sell the part ex. they asked for service history which I didn’t have but gave them the means to obtain it from previous dealer. This required the previous dealer to ask for my permission to release the information, which I gladly gave. I have noticed that my car came without service history which I mentioned. I was told to email them to sort this out. 2 emails have been sent and not one has been replied to. There is clearly no TRUST in the name motortrust

Travelled from London for our new x5 , dealt with Adam he made the experience so easy and made us feel very confident in our purchase he’s a very good salesman who helps his customers greatly and goes above and beyond I’d recommend him to everyone and this company thanks motor trust !

What went wrong? More like what went right which was nothing. Once deposit was paid and contact was initiated the salesman Tom was very difficult to get a response from. 6 times I had to request photos of the car and each time was a different excuse. Then no invoice was sent, delivery was offered but as Tom didn’t bother to inform me he was off it was missed. Phone call after phone call and finally a response from another salesman who said it wasn’t his problem and he had no idea what was going on at which point I gave up. It had been 7 days since I paid the deposit. I then found a far supplier model of mini at Lloyd Newcastle-same reg year, same price but worth about £3000 more, full warranty for 2 years not the waste of space 1 claim worth £250 motortrust offer and they delivered the car 19 hours after I first viewed it online.
Then came the farce from Tom and motortrust of trying to get my deposit back-10 full days it took after numerous phone calls, ignored texts and empty promises.
Tom the salesman was a pleasant guy on the phone but I’m afraid his actual performance as a salesman, the company performances as a car dealer was very very poor. I can only count myself lucky that it didn’t complete as I can only imagine the problem you would have if you had any issues with a car you buy.
I would recommend not using this company and use a proper dealer. Due to lack of refund I have had to regrettably report the company to the bank for failing to refund and also to the regulators for distance selling failures and to trading standards.

From seeing the car online to delivery Aidan was great, kept me informed throughout and answered any questions. I had never bought a car without viewing it first, Aidan helped me through the process and put my mind at ease. Everything was completed and car delivered quickly, Im loving my new car thanks Aidan

came from london without the dealer being aware of me coming , came through zuto and they didn’t give the dealer no details and apologised to me but regardless of this the dealer got the car ready for me and cleaned same day and made it possible even though it wasn’t their fault and the third party’s fault this wouldn’t of been possible if it wasn’t for adam and if he didn’t go out of his way and made it possible thank you so much adam i recommend him to everyone id definitely come directly to the dealer next time rather than zuto

Bought a car from them late February 2026,2 months passed and engine light appeared,took to my local garage who said would need to go to peugot,car was mis firing and he said software update required.Took to peugot who said carbon build up in valves was issue,warranty people said they wouldnt cover so called motortrust peugot had already started work but motortrust wanted 2nd opinion,i was looking at 2 bills to cover.They have basically said they will not help with any part of the £1150 bill i have had to pay.Check warranty decreasing every year you have it,not worth paper it printed on.
