Extremely disappointing experience dealing with this letting agent.
After being tenants for three years, always paying rent on time, maintaining the property responsibly and communicating respectfully, we were met with consistently poor communication and a serious lack of professionalism.
Ongoing damp and humidity issues in the property created significant problems for us and, in our experience, contributed to serious health concerns, including severe fungal acne flare-ups and worsening asthma symptoms, which ultimately forced us to move out.
Despite repeatedly raising these issues and making clear the impact they were having on our wellbeing, we did not receive the level of response, urgency or support that would be expected from a professional letting agent.
Communication during the end-of-tenancy process was particularly poor. Important emails and requests went unanswered, and we received virtually no communication until one week before our moving date, despite needing confirmation on essential arrangements.
The most frustrating part was the handling of our deposit. After moving out, we had to escalate the matter directly through the tenancy deposit protection scheme in order to recover our deposit, which was only returned three months after we had vacated the property. This was after being informed that we would receive a response within 14 days, which never happened.
Overall, this experience was stressful, frustrating and deeply disappointing. Tenants deserve timely communication, professionalism and proper support when serious property issues are raised.
I would not recommend this agency based on our experience.
