For a money transfer to the US Monito suggested Azimo to me. Azimo turned out to be a big mistake and I regret very much to ever have come across that company. Forget the "great exchange rate" suggestion you get here and go to a serious transfer provider.

I have been using a very reliable transfer service for 10 years. I was never asked for a contract with the recipient or any information like that. It is a simple wire transfer from one bank account to another. Also, why do the checks come one after the other and not in one list? Little by little with 24 response time every time.
And why are they asking me to transfer my money to Azimo first and then they get the idea that they have to go through checks. They can do that before I give them 8000 €.

And to your ratings of excellence. We all know the truth behind that, don't we?

Warnung! Hoffentlich fällt Niemand auf diese unseriöse Firma herein.
Bei Vergleichen empfehlen diese "Transferwise" und behaupten auf Ihrer Webseite, man könne -wenn man das Land angibt- dorthin Geld überweisen. Lockvogelangebot, denn wenn man sich dann bei Transferwise anmeldet, erst dann erfährt man, dass sie gar nicht, so wie Monito angibt, in dieses Land überweisen. Dies mit Folgen, denn die mailadresse wird erst nach 6 Jahren bei Transferwise gelöscht!!! Absolut unseriöse Firma!!!!
Diese Firma Monito gibt falsche Angaben auf Ihrer Webseite mit Folgen!!!! Dabei verdienen die noch mit falschen Angaben. Ein Fall für den Datenschutzbeauftragten, denn schlussendlich hat Monito mich verleitet mit falschen Angaben zu Transferwiese.

I e-mailed Monito with a question and received an answer very fast, from one of the co-founders nonetheless. He went above and beyond to look into different solutions for my situation (business in the US, receiving payments from Swiss clients) and even reached out to a provider to double check some info I got. Such great service. If you need to compare services for transferring money - check out Monito, these guys really seem to want to make sure you don't lose hard earned cash while moving funds. Highly recommend!
