Called into the Beverley store to have a quick look for a mother of the groom outfit. Was greeted by two really helpful ladies who showed me several dresses and managed to find my size in their stock room after thinking they had sold out. Came away with a lovely dress and matching fascinator. Nothing was too much trouble, they made the whole experience stress free and easy. Would definitely recommend.

Has anyone struggled to get a refund from an online order lately, being fobbed off with excuses, now blaming Stripe for payment issues, owe me £700+😡

I had an unpleasant experience at the shop in Brigg, where both of the sales assistants were incredibly rude. I would suggest perhaps a refresher course in customer service.
It is generally not deemed acceptable to be rude to people who have come in to purchase clothing. It might be a good time to consider retirement

Was meet by a lovely lady called Jayne.
Jayne gave us time to look at all the beautiful outfits . After trying on many outfits jayne brought out a dress I would have never chosen myself. It was perfect. Can not recommend molly browns enough.

I visited Beverley today & went for a browse in Molly Browns when a lovely lady came up to me to ask if I needed any help , I informed her that I am looking for a dress for my sons wedding for next year & I am just browsing , she asked if I would like to go upstairs and look at some dresses .
The first dress that she chose for me to try on was perfect & just what I was looking for , she had listened to what I was looking for & picked the perfect dress for me , I am so happy with the choice & did not bother to try anything else on . I went onto to purchase a second dress too .
Thank you so very much the lady was named was Cyndy . I felt so lucky to be able to meet such a thoughtful & caring lady ! She gave me such a wonderful compliment too.

Visited for a double appointment with my Mum, looking for a Mother or the Bride dress and Grandmother of the Bride dress, taking with us my Daughter and my Dad.
On one of the hottest days of the year, Angie B was so good to us, we tried on lots a dresses, many of which Angie had to pop upstairs for as our size wasn't out. We both found the perfect dress and with Angie's expertise found the perfect hat to compliment the dresses.
When paying for the dresses the shops card machine was not working. Angie's colleague was on hand to give us the details to enable us to bank transfer the money, saving us a trip back to Beverley.
The choice of dresses and the service was first class.

Very helpful staff - Sue dealt with a difficult situation with great kindness and care. The shop is an Aladdin’s cave of outfits for every occasion .

After a disappointing shopping experience in London for my Mother of the groom outfit I was visiting my dad up north and decided to book an appointment at Molly Browns in Beverley. What a completely different time I had, could not of asked for better service. Jayne was very patient and so helpful, very complimentary and nothing was too much trouble for her. I eventually chose a gorgeous dress which I can’t wait to wear at my son’s wedding. Walked out with a big smile on my face and feeling very happy.

I went to have a look in Molly Brown's Beverley for an outfit for my daughters wedding. I was anxious and having whizzed through the shop a week earlier was a little overwhelmed. Then I met the team and the delightful Cyndey.

Cyndey encouraged me to try a few outfits on and made me feel very special.

My elderly parents recently visited Molly Browns in York so my mother could find an outfit for their granddaughter’s wedding. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially considering my mother’s mobility issues and the need for a wheelchair — we really appreciated the care and support they provided in-store.

She found a lovely outfit and decided to purchase it for £547. However, after returning home and doing a bit of research online, she discovered the exact same outfit available elsewhere for significantly less — in fact, Molly Browns' price was approximately 130% higher than other retailers.

While I completely understand that physical stores have overheads and need to make a profit, this price difference felt excessive and unfortunately marred what was otherwise a positive shopping experience.

My advice to other shoppers would be: by all means, visit Molly Browns to try on outfits and benefit from their excellent customer service, but do some price comparisons online before making a final purchase

My partner and I visited Beverly store today, I don’t mind admitting it I was dreading finding a dress to fit me. Deborah immediately made me feel comfortable and confident in what I was looking for. We had a laugh but most importantly I came home with the full work s and felt like a princess. Deborah wasn’t pushy but she knew what she was there to do and she was a breath of fresh air, she went above and beyond what I expected and definitely is a credit to the company. At no point did I feel uncomfortable, of my
Comfort zone or looked down on which I thought i might.

I was made to feel like the only person in the store. The lady who looked after me for hours was Sue. (a tall and beautiful lady) I would like to say a very BIG thank you to Sue for her kindness, patience, and her compassion towards me. I would highly recommend Molly Browns. A wonderful experience today. Deborah Moore from the Beverley branch of molly browns was so professional. She made me feel really comfortable as I was totally out of my comfort zone . She gave me her opinion and really went above and beyond to help me get the perfect outfit for my son’s wedding. So happy I came away with dress, hat, shoes, bag and jewellery. I made an appointment at Molly Browns in Beverley to try on Mother of the Bride outfits. I had chosen one online but after trying it on I did not like it at all. The lady looking after me, Angie W, brought several other different outfits for me to try and she was brilliant - really helpful and knowledgeable not pushy at all and genuinely interested in finding something I felt amazing in.She found me the perfect outfit and shoes as well so I went home very happy. Angie W is a credit to Molly brown’s Beverley and I would definitely recommend going there for a really lovely experience.

Molly Browns in York. I arrived early and was taken upstairs. Changing room can only be described as curtain in corner of the room. Did not have a lot of choice in my size despite confirming size at time of booking. Lady who served me did not make me feel comfortable and kept asking if I liked a dress that clearly was not my size and kept going up and down to a small stockroom. There was another room which had dresses in but a client was in there and I didn't get to see what was in there. Then I was asked if I wanted to try a sale dress which again were not my size. I said that I had visited Snooty Frox in Harrogate and assistant said " well they will have been throwing dresses at you". At least this establishment gave me an A star experience and had a large range of dresses to throw at me. I also felt because of my tattoos which I am proud of, immediately the assistant looked down on me. I was looking for a Veni Infantino dress and happy to spend a fortune. I left the shop in tears. I will never return to this shop.
