They do not have a registration in the UK charity list. They are a limited company, and as such do not have to explain how the money is spend. It impossible to verify if the frequency of their workshops reflects the donations they receive. If you truly want to help, find a charity covering the same cause.

Their collectors at Paddington use high pressure sales techniques, but as they are not a charity, it is nearly impossible to complain about their behaviour.

Definitely a scam, the company was only started in 2025. I have worked with a recognised gang support organisation that works across London, usually high brand recognition, but there wasn’t any from the alleged service user. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. I’ll give them credit for thinking the scam through as thoroughly as they have, real skill that they could put to use. Don’t believe any response about them running hundreds of programmes to date, there is no mention of essential safeguarding, or required checks anywhere on the website, which one would expect on a legitimate site. So, Oni, you may think you did a good job today, but may equally find yourself pan handling for a long time to come.

Read the response - I did not mention a large organisation. No large organisations are trying to tackle the issue. Your defence is that you need to start somewhere, yet I made no comment about your size. A legitimate organisation would attempt to understand others serving the same community, that’s my comment, not relative size. Not to mention the critical issue of safeguarding….Good attempt, but you’ve shown yourself as I, and other posters, believe….

They’re has been a few negative things said about this company from petty customers. However I love the people to give recognition to this company. Modern empowerment has been here for years and I am happy to say I love what they do. I’d highly recommend contributing to this charity as my son has been to one of their workshops

To the fake charity - You'll be happy to know my bank is investigating about your fraud and they're escalating it with yours. Plus a police complaint was made.

Honestly being apart of modern empowerment has really provided me great association that is helping mould me to greater individual.

I was stopped in Oxford today by a lovely young man, Calvin he told me he was from “ East London ”. What an inspiring guy, had a lovely conversation and he showed a lot of interest in me as a person too, so it didn’t just feel like he was after a donation eventually, it felt like he genuinely wanted to spread awareness of Knife crime etc. We need more role models like him and his friends who were working in Oxford near Westgate today. :)

Truly inspiring and it shows that people can change and grow with the right guidance. It made me smile and I’m so glad there are great organisations like yours out there!

So scammy! Why are you lurking outside uni campuses trying get new a naive students to sign up to expensive course material? Sounds like your happily adding to their stress levels a financial commitments. So creepy. All your good reviews are see through, I hope you enjoyed writing them, I can't believe you'll last long.

Stopped to speak to one of their fundraisers today and I was shocked to hear about some of the statistics shown to me. This new generation needs voices like these people in their communities to lead and inspire them so I was happy to donate and hope many others do too.

I looked into this organisation after hostile encounters with thier aggressive 'fund raisers' outside Bank tube station.

I note the following: They are registered as a limited company and strangely not a charity. The director's profession on the company registration is 'Sales'. They were registered in September 25.

None of the links on their website to the programmes or events work, the only link that works is the donation link.

All the reviews on this site are strangely overwhelming positive and made in a short time frame.

There is no registration or members section on the website as implied their response to another comment here.

I'm sure a nonsense response to this comment will follow from this organisation to convince you of their legitimacy. I would urge you to ignore the responses and look at the evidence presented above yourself.
