I’ve been a long standing customer who put a legitimate claim in only to have it rejected on a whimsical reason and then they expect me to carry on the policy when the phone has been stolen!!!

Good luck claiming
Gooooood luck claiming. Took me 3 days of running around, calling about, to get all the “back up” they required to make a successful claim. Luckily for me, EE was able to help provide a lot of it but if your network provider doesn’t pride itself in good customer service, you won’t make it past this.
I feel that they make the process almost impossible to complete to avoid paying out.

I’m disappointed with the service I received from this insurance company. My recent claim was rejected based on a technicality — that the device wasn’t barred within 24 hours — despite the fact that I reported the incident to the police immediately and stayed in contact with their team throughout.
What’s most frustrating is that this requirement was never clearly explained to me. I acted in good faith and relied on their guidance, especially since the phone was a replacement device previously issued through their own insurance. At no point was the urgency of barring the device communicated.
It feels like the company is more focused on finding reasons to decline claims rather than supporting customers when they genuinely need help. The lack of clear communication and support has been incredibly disappointing.
I would strongly advise others to carefully review all terms and not rely on customer support to guide you properly — as that was my biggest mistake here.

Providing validation proof
Trying to provide validation proof was an extremly hard experience. 5 times my photo was rejected for various reasons. One even said it had a screen protector and cover on....which it didn't another one said i had sent back only, when infact i'd sent both front and back photos.
