faultless service
I have NO hesitation in recommending Mix Repairs. In the last year both my dishwasher and washing machine have developed faults. On both occasions the (different) engineers fixed the issues but were also helpful, informative, polite and made sure the machines were working perfectly before they would leave. They gave good advice on how to use them properly and how to try and avoid faults. 10/10
I wouldn't use them again
Despite asking many times, they refuse to say exactly what work was carried out. There is a language barrier that makes queries very difficult.
AVOID... very disappointing
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company and would strongly advise others to avoid them.
They claimed to be Gaggenau-approved repair specialists, which gave us confidence to proceed. In reality, this turned out to be completely untrue. Over several visits, we were charged more than £1,000 in call-out fees and parts while they effectively experimented with different “fixes”—none of which actually resolved the problem.
After all that time and money, they simply gave up and told us they could no longer help, leaving us with a broken oven and a huge bill. The whole experience felt like we were paying for trial-and-error rather than a professional, informed repair service.
We were close to replacing the oven entirely, but I decided to contact Gaggenau directly. That’s when we discovered this company is not approved by them at all. An official engineer was arranged, and the issue was fixed in a single visit for just £200. The fault itself was very simple—something this company should have been able to diagnose, but clearly couldn’t due to lack of proper access to diagnostic tools and error codes.
Overall, shocking service, misleading claims, and a very costly experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company and going directly through the manufacturer for approved engineers.
Unscrupulous traders who don't care about customers
They way that this business is run is pretty disgraceful - pretty much theft of hard earned cash. I really recommend you avoid these guys at all costs. My experience:
- requested an appointment as the hinge in my dishwasher broke
- engineer comes round - he was very professional and helpful. He spent less than 5 mins at my property, said he needed to order parts which should come in a few days
- in order to get the parts i have to pay £90 + VAT
- A few days later i receive an email with an invoice. Nowhere in the email is it stated that the parts are obsolete and i need a new washer - so i call after a week
- Immediately on the back foot with a rude customer service rep who informed me that the information in the invoice says they can't fix it, that i received my 'service' and that's it
- So i am left with >£100 bill, for a <5 minute appointment and still a broken washer.
- Apparently this is also my fault as I didn't give them the model number before the appointment...
I don't mind paying for a service. I don't mind paying a small call out - what i do mind is footing a large bill for a 5 minute visit and absolutely no resolution.

this man is the most dishonest trade man you can ever deal with. He tried to scam me with an over inflated price to install a fridge - he recommended the wrong size of the fridge and he made me not only pay the call out charge for an assessment that was wrong but also made me lose out delivery and installation charges. He wouldn’t own up to his own mistakes, he kept going in full circle and being dishonest about all the evidence I provided him to proof he is made a mistake in his assessment . He refuse to refund and showed arrogance in asking to go and sue if I wished to do so. This guy needs to be reported to the police and stopped from exercising this job
Avoid this awful company
Oh dear, I wish I had seen these reviews before going ahead with my booking!
It all started so well, and I must say the engineer who came out was very nice. But basically, they didn’t turn up with the right part on day one after me telling them what part was needed, they then asked me to pay in advance for the part and future repair, then I had to chase them over a week later because I hadn’t heard anything, eventually they managed to book me an appointment a FURTHER week later (this is now over two weeks since I had booked the original appointment with a very clear repair requirement - this seems to be other people’s experience as well).
This morning the engineer turned up and he had the wrong part. He said the wrong part had been delivered by Indesit and was extremely apologetic, but still… two weeks on and I still have a broken washing machine.
I eventually rang the office and spoke to Ardeshir Salehi, who could not have been more rude. He simply did not care. Barely apologised, refused to attempt to find a solution to the problem, said it wasn’t their fault. Agreed to refund my money (remains to be seen whether or not that turns up) but gave me absolutely no apology or sense of actually caring. Seemed to think that none of this was his problem.
I ended up getting extremely angry with him and I regret that, but I have never experienced customer service like this in my life. And I still have a broken washing machine.

⚠️ BEWARE SUSPECTED SCAM ⚠️
Here’s what happened:
When booking the repair, the company clearly stated there would be no call-out fee and that the cost quoted would cover the repair, regardless of time or number of visits. Based on this promise, I scheduled a technician to come out.
The technician arrived, spent less than 10 minutes in my home (about 2 minutes actually inspecting the machine), and told me the washer dryer was broken – something I obviously already knew, which is why I called a repair service. He then said they would need to order parts and that I’d receive a quote the next day.
I was then charged £82.50 on the spot.
The following day, I received an email stating that the parts were not available and therefore they would not be able to repair the machine at all. At no point did the technician mention that this was even a possibility. He simply said they needed to source parts.
When I called to request a refund – given that no repair was done, no parts were ordered, and the visit amounted to little more than a confirmation that my machine was broken – I was met with hostile and dismissive customer service. Instead of listening to my concerns, the representative tried to deflect responsibility using their terms and conditions and resorted to argumentative tactics, which felt rehearsed and frankly, unprofessional.
To summarise:
I paid £82.50 for a technician to spend under 10 minutes in my home, provide no actual service, and for the company to then inform me that the repair couldn't be carried out. When I asked for a refund, I was talked down to and treated poorly.
Please do your research. My experience, along with the many 1-star reviews on Trustpilot, suggests this company is not operating with transparency or integrity.
Proceed with caution.

Avoid this company at all costs. I spoke to Hotpoint direct and informed Mix repairs of the fault. The engineer arrived straight away demanded payment of £89, looked at the tumble dryer for 15 minutes ran a filter under the tap (which I had already told him i've done) and left. I used the tumble dryer twice same fault happens. I call them back and they quote me £205 for parts (which are hugely marked up prices due to the engineer coming back "included" one of the parts £50 more than from hotpoint and £98 for a condenser assembly - the same one he run under the tap. this company is a complete con. Please also be wary as they work under some repair brokers also, so other companies send these con engineers out

Felt a lot of anger coming towards me, he offered to pay 50% in the end, but I just paid for the fee for call out (engineer visit) and parted our ways. I don’t want them to come to again. Booked via an intermediary site and upon close inspection of their T&Cs they can do that. I am now £90 out of pocket but would rather buy a new appliance than this unpleasantness. I should add for a balanced review that the engineer visit was professional, it is the customer service that is letting them down.

Exceptional and friendly customer service
I work for the Canary Wharf Build to Rent portfolio, across approx. 600 flats, and we have been using Mix Repairs services for all our appliance break downs.
This is the third company I have worked for in the last 10 years, where I have been recommending their services.
Ardeshir and Simona are amazing to deal with. They possess exceptional customer service skills and are super friendly and welcoming. Whenever we have an appliance issue, which is quite often, we can always rely on the team to resolve the matter in a prompt and efficient way.
I personally have not found a appliance repair company who work as well as the team and we will carry on using Mix Repairs services for as long as we can.

Within a day or so of online booking an assessment of my faulty Zanussi fridge/freezer, their office rang to book a home visit. The friendly engineer identified possible need to re-gas but the office quoted for both a new similar unit, alternatively a re-gas at a very reasonable price. This was completed yesterday by another friendly and helpful engineer. The office support and technical crew I cannot commend highly enough!
Avoid
They charged me £200 to repair my fridge freezer. Kept having to call them back because the issue was not being fixed. Each time I was told I needed another part. Not spending any more money but no better off. In fact, the issue is worse. Please do not waste money like I have.

From my first experience I can say that I am not impressed. My tumble dryer did not work after the engineers came to fix a simple problem whereby my tumble dryer stopped heating up now it doesn't come on.

Engineer came round Friday after up front fee of £120 and no equipment. Had to chase multiple times for a quote which I have still not received breakdown for. ( It's been 2 weeks).
They then said parts will be twice value of washing machine and may take up to 8 months. Please show the quote in your reply. Unacceptable customer service. I want my £120 upfront fee back. Cowboys this lot DO NOT USE!!!!
