MITROS were recommended to me and I now know why, professionalism started with their sales team who called out and explained what happens from start to finish. The installation team installed an 18 panel system in less than a day and were very clean. The admin looked after all the paperwork and grant. If all companies were this good. Getting a solar panel system is a big decision and a lot of research is needed given the potential outlay on cash. I looked at many installers and narrowed it to 5 for review / quote. It's a very competitive market and for me the best bang for the buck was Mitros.

After agreeing to engage Mitros I was delighted to have the install team at my door a week later and the electrician was excellent, explained everything well and was very professional. The install were a class act, very friendly, very competent and most importantly they left the job spotless. A small thing but a big impression. The system is only installed so can't comment on after sales support [hopefully not needed] but in terms of end to end quote to installation, great experience with Mitros
I had a great experience with Mitros - Solar Energy. Myself and my daughter and son-in-law used them recently for two installations and the service was prompt and efficient throughout, with excellent response times and lead times.
Paudie was a gent and very easy to deal with. He took the time to explain everything clearly, and ensured I was comfortable with every step. The quote was detailed, transparent, and very competitive, offering value for money. The aftercare has also been excellent — responsive, supportive, and reassuring.
The install team were tidy and finished in a matter of hours and the standard of workmanship was top class.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mitros as it’s clear they genuinely stand over their work.

Paudie gave us great attention and care throughout – he took the time to explain everything clearly and the and detail in the quote is impressive; everything was transparent and clearly laid out.
The install team, especially Derek, were outstanding. They were professional, the workmanship was excellent and they left everything tidy once the job was complete. There were delays due to weather warnings, but Mitros did all they could to mitigate those delays.
The aftercare has also been brilliant and the handover was generous, allowing loads of time for questions. They have responded to queries post-install very quickly also.
Would highly recommend Mitros to anyone considering solar!
Installed PV for our home in mid October. It has been a game changer for us. The whole process was seamless with Mitros. From the initial sales visit to having the system up and running was super efficient, great communication as we have to push back the install due to ground works. Mitros were the only company who wanted to route new heavy cable to from the inverter to the consumer unit. Says a lot when a good length of this type of cable is penciled into a quote, a better job long term. The crew were in and out in a day, super tidy work and well installed. All the follow up paperwork, and Ber were tidied up very promptly. We even had the pleasure of an Seai inspection of the PV and it passed with flying colour
Good company to do business with
From the first meeting Paudie was professional and prompt. He could answer all my questions and made sure I understood his explanations. Mitros have been great to deal with. They gave me an installation date and everything was up and running by 4pm. Paudie rang the next day to ensure I was happy and called out another day when I had some questions. Everything ran smoothly and I couldn't be happier with the system.
I would wholly recommend Mitros for your solar install. Paudie was excellent, I felt assured that he had our best interests at heart, explained everything very well and gave really good advice. The install guys were efficient, and professional, install took 1 day. They set up the app and I got a walk through the system. Aftercare is superb and between Paudie and the rest of the team, any questions are swiftly answered. The costs were also competitive, a bonus! It made our solar journey stress free and delighted with everything overall. Thank you Mitros!

I would generally never rate anything 5 stars but these guys deserve it. From the start Paudie in sales who was prompt on answering questions and call out to go through everything. When he left my mind was made up. Had 3 other quotes. They could learn from Paudie . The office staff that did some paper work for me . Andrea was so helpful in anything I needed. Everything was so easy with Mitros. Installation day. Ronan and the 3 lads were fantastic. Clean and never stopped all day . Ronan was finished and still went through the whole system with me and explained everything including the app and gave me a great understanding of how everything works . I really couldn't recommend them more . I feel im not even doing them justice with 5 stars

The entire installation was completed in just one day, and the team was incredibly professional throughout. They were careful coming in and out of the house, even wearing protective covers on their shoes — which I really appreciated — and they left everything spotless once the work was done.
They also took the time to walk us through the system, helping us download the app and explaining clearly how to monitor everything.
What really impressed me was the aftercare. On the follow-up call, we received practical advice on how to get the most out of our system, including recommendations on the best electricity plan to opt for with our provider to reduce costs.
I don’t often leave recommendations, but in this case, I can honestly say I highly recommend Mitros

Mitros was the only company out of close to 10 that came out to see my house and go through the process. Their quote was also incredibly competitive, and the panels are superior to many of the suppliers! I would highly recommend them based on the service, installation professionalism and the price.
