I soaked my 12 inch pan overnight and…

I soaked my 12 inch pan overnight and the enamel wore off. I have only had this pan for 3 months. I contacted customer service and was denied my claim due to being outside the 60 day return window. Buyer beware! Expensive junk.

Update to my review: I called it enamel, but it is whatever the top layer is. I used nothing that would scratch it and I submitted a photo of the damage to customer service. I don’t want to use a pan that has the top layer worn. My other Misen pans are working great. So I am not sure why the 12 inch failed. In either case, it’s disappointing that I’ve only had this pan for 3 months.

Customer for life

I am a long term customer of Misen, and have nothing but good things to say .... I have never had a bad experience. I broke the kid to my wok , and they were unable to replace the lid.... So they gave me a Misen credit to spend online for the cost to replace the entire wok , or buy something else. That's real customer service ! I can't say enough good thing about Misen. I will be a life long customer

I had purchased the Carbon Steel…

I had purchased the Carbon Steel Non-Stick pan from Amazon. After the first use, the pan bottom bowed out causing it not to sit flat. I reached out to the Misen customer service and they were quick to respond and sent me a replacement pan free of charge. I was very satisfied with the whole experience.

Misen Carbon Nonstick™

I bought the Misen Carbon Nonstick™ Frying Pan expecting a workhorse; instead the nonstick coating disintegrated after only a few months of careful use. Food now sticks, cleaning is a nightmare, and the centre is patchy and gritty. I followed all care instructions, so this looks like a clear manufacturing failure, and my warranty claim was rejected without a clear explanation. Customer service offered only boilerplate responses instead of a refund—do not buy.

This was a WOW of substance...

I had some technical difficulties with ordering and reached out to CS. Andrea entered my life with a solution to circumvent the glitches and I was able to order the needed products via the special process she provided me. I truly like flexible people and procedures and experienced them with Andrea. Hooray for wins!!!

Misen For Life !!!

I ordered the 7QT red Dutch oven through a kickstarter campaign now about 5,5 years ago. Now, I already have an iron cast oven with my AGA six-four, but yet, putting stews in my Misen, and then making them slowly simmer to perfection in my Aga... 2x iron cast heaven... pfioew... :D

But a few days ago, my VERY much loved Dutch oven suddenly made a loud pop when I put it on my gas pit, even before adding any oil or butter. The inside enamel just popped a piece out almost the size of a 2€ piece.
I contacted the Misen customer support, and within half an hour (!!), they acknowledged the problem as falling under the lifetime warranty, and sent me a new pot.
NEVER had a customer service treating me so fast and courteous.
This means a LOT to me, since this was by far my all time favorite kitchen tool.
And I live in Belgium, so this is mostly Le Creuset country,
but believe me, Misen beats the shit out of them !!! ;)

Can't wait for my new pot to arrive !

HIGHLY recommended !!!

excellent product and service

I first backed Misen on Kickstarter about 6 years ago, and the set has been in constant use ever since. I bake sourdough at least once or twice every week, so this is cookware that has truly been put through its paces — and it has held up beautifully all these years.

Recently, the silicone lid finally developed a tear and eventually ripped. I reached out to their customer service to ask if I could purchase a replacement lid. After a few emails to clarify the issue and providing proof of my original purchase (from 6 years ago!), I was fully expecting to just buy the lid.

Instead, they went above and beyond and replaced the entire set, since the lid wasn’t sold separately.

That level of service is incredibly rare.

The product quality is excellent, durable enough for years of heavy weekly use, and the customer support is even more impressive. Misen has absolutely earned my loyalty.

I was originally frustrated...

I was originally frustrated that eggs were sticking in this skillet. I had given this 2 of 5 stars. Then I received a couple of emails from them offering suggestions and help troubleshooting my cooking issues. We collaborated and identified the root cause and it is no longer an issue. It wasn't the pan but had to do with the process I was using. I am deeply appreciative that they reached to me. This is the type of personalized customer support that is sadly lacking today. Thanks to Misen for caring about their customers and their products.

Don't Buy Misen - Not non-stick

We've had our misen frying pans for over 3 months now and we've done everything we can to "season" them and they still stick like crazy. Spent $346 and very disappointed. Have to have food floating in grease to get a semblance of "non stick'. I usually don't write negative reviews but I'm doing this to save other unsuspecting consumers from making the same mistake. Bought 1 Hexclad pan and wow! It is truly non-stick. Sorry Misen.

"Forever Pans" don't even last 4 months…

I need to write this so other customers don't waste money. I purchased the Carbon Nonstick™ Frying Pan - 8+10+12 INCH set in Oct 2025. By Jan 2025, the non-stick coating was completely non-functional and in most areas had come off. This is despite light home cooking with oil, and never washing with a dish washer. (I wish I could include pictures, but it doesn't appear that I can attach any). Apparently their warranty for their "forever pan" doesn't apply to the cooking surface at all, and they would not offer to replace the items or refund the purchase after only 4 months. I'm super disappointed. Please, please don't waste your money. Especially when the company clearly doesn't care to make things right when you have a bad experience.

Do not buy these

If you read my review, you can see that I followed the Misen instructions on the website and the videos. The improvement of performance is not happening at all, if anything it's getting worse. I already sent pictures to your customer service and got a basic copy paste email back which clearly showed that the person didn't bother to actually read my eMail.

I bought Misen pans on Kickstarter twice. The first one around 2020, sounded great but the coating had blisters after about two weeks. The second time was just recently their new model, as I fell for the marketing. One pan started to warp after a week, the other one just completely fell apart after a couple of weeks. Both were exchanged though, so no real complaints up to that point. The new ones lasted a bit longer, as I was waiting for the promise to kick in, that they would beomce more non stick over time. That didn't happen. After several month of seasoning them daily and following the instructions (preheat on low-medium), trying to make something simple like chicken breasts turns out to be a desaster. The other pan starts to smell like an old rusty engine.
When asking customer service about his they told me to season the pan and preheat it, clearly showing they didn't bother to read my eMail, in which I already wrote that I've been doing that every time.
Because of the exchange (and too much trust and patience) my purchase is now outside of the 60 day warranty window. I'd love to include pictures in this review but it's not possible, so I'll just say: Do not buy these.

They went above and beyond honoring my lifetime warranty and already have my replacement scheduled within 24 hours of chatting. Customer service are amazing and reply within minutes. High quality products at great value with lifetime warranty. Proud to be a customer!

Customer service displayed high integrity

Reached out to customer service about an issue that may have fallen through the cracks. They replied and handled the situation promptly and did the honorable thing. The issue was not one of epic proportions but they went about it swiftly and with legit integrity. Things like this make supporting up and coming companies easy.

Very high quality product, quick shipping

I have purchased knives, their carbon steel frying pans and their latest, carbon non-stick frying pan, as well as various utensils. These are very high quality items and their shipping is very quick. This is an excellent company with well made, high quality items. I highly recommend Misen.

These are the best and sharpest knives…

These are the best and sharpest knives I’ve had. I have the 8 inch chefs knife, and the set of minis. All wonderful. And the warranty is great too. I purchased 4 knives as a gift for a family member as well.

I first purchased my Misen Dutch oven…

I first purchased my Misen Dutch oven in 2021 as a kickstarter. I had to submit a warranty claim for chips on the enamel of my Dutch oven's handles, and I must say, this has been the easiest, hassle-less warranty process I have ever encountered! Emails were responded to within minutes. I couldn't be happier that I chose to invest in Misen, for my Dutch oven, skillet, and 2 kitchen knives. I couldn't be happier knowing the company 100% backs up their products. Its rare to find such excellent customer service. I'd give their customer service 6 stars if I could. Thank you Misen!!!
