Item not received, took 4 weeks to get refund
Paid for a rug 30th September, 11th October messaged to request confirmation of postage and tracking information as not received. Received reply 13th October apologising saying rugs were expected to come in the following week and would be sent 24hr post. Sent further message 20th October requesting confirmation of postage as not received and received reply saying they would chase the next day. With no response I messaged again on 23rd October stating over 3 weeks since I had paid, requesting confirmation of postage and if not posted, for a refund received automatic response. Chased again 24th, received response 25th saying didn't know why gallop hadn't sent rug (why are gallop to blame? I had bought rug from millstream not direct from gallop) asked for my bank details to refund which were provided same day. Further message sent 27th asking for timescale of refund as not received (bank transfer is same day). Noticed a FB post today 28th October where they were chasing payment for items from live bids otherwise they would be resold on Sunday (ironic) so commented on there to ask again for timescale since I provided details 3 days ago. Refund was received later same day however they have deleted my comment chasing it from the FB post, no message to explain reason for delay or offer apologies. Really poor customer service, why are they taking payment for items they don't have in stock? Why has it taken me to comment on public post for refund to be actioned?
