I had an old felt roof which started to leak, called this company who came out the next day, measured up and gave me some options for a new flat roof, ended up going for the EPDM rubber roof, which looks great, and no more leaks, all work carried out in a day 👍 great price

Before agreeing on the property price, I had the roof survey from Midwest Roofing.Received the survey with the list of works and prices to help me negotiate the property price.Great service and saved me money.
Extremely satisfied with the re-roofing work and the rubber roof. The job was booked and completed in the timescales committed when the quote was agreed. Overall a great job for a very fair price, I would highly recommend using this company for roofing jobs.

From the second Chaz came to our house we were met with nothing but professionalism. Chaz was completely knowledgeable on what questions I had and even delt with all of the insurance questions. Their office stayed in contact with me through the whole process. I received a call the day before, the morning of and even before the crew left. Jacob was a rock star and was showing Scott and Justin the ropes at the same time. The crew got to my house around 7:30 am and gone by 4:30 with a completely new look to my house. The next day Chaz came back to reinspect the roof and pick up any nails left behind. I would recommend this crew 1000 times over.

AVOID and do some research before it's too late!!!
In July 2020 I allowed this company to replace the roof on my property...and this was the biggest mistake of my life!
Firstly, their director used a lot of excuses to delay start of the work e.g. no skip availble for hire, bad weather, other jobs elsewhere (originally promised to start within the next few days, finally started after few weeks). They dropped something heavy on my bathroom ceiling making a 5" hole in it but never mind...
In just few days after they finished I had to phone them to let them know that it looks like a tile is coming off in the area right above my children's sandpit and also on the side of the roof (right above the public walkway) it looks like two bits are not correctly fitted and they may come off...they said they'll come soon. I had to chase them and after couple of weeks they finally arrived.
While chasing them I managed to arrange 3 other roofing companies to come and have a look...all of them said the roof looks awful and unsafe and needs to be re-done.
Once Raja from Midwest Roofing Limited finally arrived, they tried to glue the tile and refused to do the whole roof again.
So it ended up in the Court.
They changed their business address few days after I registered my claim, so they didn't reply to the Court letter and the Court ordered them to pay me over GBP 2k...Then they finally responded claiming they could not read letters as their business address is in Newcastle and they are from Birmingham area and because of Covid-19 they could not travel...and they do not read SPAM folder so they missed emails from the Court. So they applied to set the judgment aside.
Originally the Court hearing was due in Feb but it's been cancelled due to staff shortage. It went ahead in April and the Director of Midwest Roofing told the Court they stopped their business in February 2021.
After this I tried everything to get my money back with no success (debt collectors visited 5 different addresses I found on internet). They applied for voluntary strike off in Sep 2021 and I managed to object it but again-no success as Midwest Roofing Limited claims they do not exist no more.
At the same time their website, telephone address, email were working as ever before but...right at the bottom of their website it states:
MRoofing Ltd 13200325 T/A Midwest Roofing.
AVOID MIDWEST ROOFING LIMITED!!!
As the name suggests...Midwest are a bunch of cowboys!!! We had a roof installed back in Feb 19 we have never had a watertight roof from the first hours of installation:
1. Lead slate around boiler flue leaked on first outing in rain it took two attempts to sort this out.
2. Continuous leak in garage, between abutment of house and flat roof, Raj has visited twice and other than using a cheap tube of sanitary silicone to try to seal he has never succeeded to do so. Totally clueless.
A terrible company to deal with....lack of understanding of roof best practices, short cuts in material and a totally worthless guarantee.
I would stay well away from Midwest Cowboy's.....

You indicated that you had a leak in the garage, the reason for your dissatisfaction. However, our records indicate that our team member visited the property, explained to Steve the felt flashings were chased in to the render, silicone was used in the joint to perform the seal the team member re-sealed the joint with silicone, advised Steve if the leak reoccurs to contact us immediately as we will chase out the render to install wall trims. This conversation was with Steve.

The felt flashings were chased in to the render, silicone was used to perform the seal. , as the flat roof the flashings were re-sealed with silicone, advised customer if the leak reoccurs to contact us immediately as we will chase out the render to install wall trims.

We called Midwest Roofing in November 2020 as we needed a new flat roof, the team arrived on time, measured up and I had my quote the following day. I had some questions which they answered and got the job booked in the diary. All the bad weather we have had from November to Jan 2021 the roof has preformed just like it should, water tight, I thought I'd leave my experience and feedback for future customers, I'd recommend to my friends and family.
Had a complete new roof on my property November 2019 from Midwest Roofing. Very happy with the high standard of work carried out. Extremely professional. Highly recommended.

Mr Elliot rang the office at 9.47am said he has 2 leaks, can we pop over to take a look, the insurance company sent their surveyor out.
1/10 @12.30pm
Member of staff rang for an update, no answer, Mr Elliot called back and agreed a day and time to look at the job etc
4th October 8am
The team met up with Mr Elliot who mentioned the insurance sent their surveyor out who didn't go on to the roof or in to the loft area. The Midwest roofing team gained access to the roof, the team noticed 2 broken tiles on the roof behind the chimney along with a TV aerial wire on top of the lead flashing making its way into the property, the team took pictures of the broken tiles, TV aerial, chimney back gutter, valley and a general pictures of the roof. The valley had mortar missing, dropped tiles, solution was to install a dry valley.
Mr Elliot was quoted for a new chimney back gutter supply and fit £160, declined to carry out this work. Before starting the job Mr Elliot was informed if the leak persists he may need a new chimney back gutter as the lead may have a pin holes, not visible to the eye. Mr Elliot was shown the pictures and the team gave Mr Elliot the price for the work which he agreed hence the team carried out the job.
Mr Elliot wanted to update the current sand and cement valley with the new dry valley which has no mortar and replace the cracked, broken tiles behind the chimney. The team got the go-ahead and replaced the broken tiles along with stripping out the valley, clean the area, felt the valley, install the new dry valley and additional tiles.
28th November
Mrs Elliot rang, shouting to a staff member, Mrs Elliot claimed she was there with Mr Elliot when the team was talking to him about the job, the member of staff who took the call was onsite with another member of the team who were speaking with Mr Elliot about the chimney back gutter, dry valley and broken tiles. The staff member who took this call, confirmed to Mrs Elliot she was not present outside when the team of 2 was speaking to Mr Elliot about the pictures/ tiles/ valley etc the conversation between our staff members was with Mr Elliot no other person was there.
Mrs Elliot claimed the chimney back gutter was included with the quoted price? We have a log of the date, job quoted, job also mentions a breakdown of each job along with materials, prices and the conversations of the job.
Mr Elliot was quoted £160 for a chimney back gutter supply and fit, which he didn't want to do at the time as he'll do this at a later date if the broken tiles haven't fixed the leak. Mr Elliot was informed the team couldn't see any other signs where the leak was coming from hence the pictures taken, itemised quotes, we can’t charge for something we can’t see? Hence the advice/solution given about the job before the team started the work.

£350.. I'm confident people will agree any existing leaks cant get worse if the team replaced the 2 broken tiles which was letting in rain below. We've always picked up the phone hence the team make notes for each call.
We had roofing work done by the owner of this company and dealt with the owner. After the work was finished the brand new roof that he installed leaked and has done ever since. He did nothing then other than give us the runaround. After 1 year of his broken promises we took him to court, two independent roofing surveyors looked at this work and produced reports which showed he lacked the basic understanding of roofing principles. The court awarded us damages and costs and instead of honoring his warranty a few days after the court hearing, the owner simply closed his company rather than face the issue and has now opened up again under another company.
Looking into this deeper we can see from company’s house records that he has done this a number of times before. As soon as he gets negative reviews on google he closes the company and the ask google to remove the listing as the company no longer exists.
There are so many good roofers out there do not fall for his slick marketing, or fancy website, its all a big con he does not have an idea about carrying out a professional roofing jobs.
Everything we have stated here can be found in the public domain, our court case against him was under the claim number E7QZ89G5. I initially found him on trustedtrader and I have called them who say he was thrown off for lots of complaints about his shoddy workmanship. We have also the government body competent roofer send them the surveyors reports along with the court ruling and he will be removed from there also very soon. We have also looked on checkatrade, trustatrader, which, mybuilder and he has been removed from all.
We will ensure that we will continue to monitor him and any new companies he forms and write reviews where ever he can be found. Be careful people.
