They Charged My Customers £20K Unauthorised
What started as a seemingly smart way to offload unused Stripe accounts turned into a complete nightmare.
In July 2025, I sold two accounts to MicroAcquire.io. The first sale had a small hiccup; about £2,500 went missing, which I later confirmed was due to a linked account issue on my end. Annoying, but not their fault.
The second sale, however, was a serious problem.
After the MicroAcquire buyer logged into the account, approximately £20,000 in unauthorised transactions were processed against my customers within minutes.
I managed to refund nearly all of them, but two refunds (around £1,800 each) were never recovered, leaving both my customers and me out of pocket.
Since then, communication from MicroAcquire.io — specifically with Cam — has been evasive and dismissive, with no accountability or effort to resolve the outstanding issue.
The individuals handling the Stripe accounts appear to be operating from Dubai, though this hasn’t been clearly explained. Why someone would process such large unauthorised charges remains unclear, but it raises serious concerns about oversight and legitimacy.
I strongly advise against selling Stripe accounts through MicroAcquire.io or engaging with them in any capacity.
I’m currently pursuing this matter further and will provide updates here if any resolution or legal progress occurs.
