I had my laptop upgraded from 500GB to 1TB with Mel's Computer Care; I appreciate the detailed explanation of the process and duration, and the really quick service (less than 1 day) without any issues. The price is not low, mainly due to the recent surge in SSD and RAM prices, but the services make it worthwhile.

As usual the staff at Mel's were very friendly and helpful. If like myself you are not very computer savvy it can be a bit daunting going into these businesses. As usual I was made to feel welcome and listened to. I wanted a new laptop to suit my simple needs and this is what I got, no pushy selling tactics just honest salesman with the knowledge to go with it. I love my new purchase and will not hesitate to go back to Mel's when necessary.

Super friendly and efficient. Called this morning and took my computer in within and hour it was fixed.

The staff at Mel's were very pleasant, friendly and really helpful. I just dropped in with a malware infected laptop and they sorted it then and there for me over the counter. I had a few queries, which they answered for me and they added something to my laptop which should help prevent further issues. The cost of the service they provided was very reasonable too. Cant ask for more! One very happy customer :)

Mel's staff Alan and Tywi copied information from my old laptop to my new one for me and set it up in my home. The service was excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful and when I explained I didn't have a charger for my new laptop the lady I spoke to was able to provide me with a suitable one. I would definitely recommend Mel's.

As always with Mel's computers, the service is first class. My printer went offline, and I tried the usual methods to fix it. Switching off and unplugging the printer, shutting down and restarting my PC, and switching my router on and off. It didn't work. I have a service agreement with Mel's, a phone call from Tywi, and it was fixed. I would reccommend this service.

Ive used Mel's Computer Services for many years- in both my own business and now since semi-retired on a individual basis.Trust Pilot asks about stating my experience of this Company so here goes.
Mel of Mel's Computers set up and installed and maintained my COMPUTERS AND SOFTWARE on my initial setting of business(AMG CHESHIRE LTD) which is still going strong since I handed it over to my Son.As the business grew so did the support from Mel's computers, giving first class back up service and tech support, nothing was any trouble and his prices were competitive along with solving and adding in solutions to my our business computer expectations to grow with the business needs and substantial growth.
Yes its a Family business Mel's Computer , they care, they solve, they talk over your needs with you not at you, they recommend solutions to make your business more effective ,plus most of import they employ staff that care, listen, solve, and soon become part of your business family - always there for you.
Yes i am semi retired at almost 80 years now , but I still use Mel's Computers for the excellent support, bring me up to date on systems plus show me how also.

I have used Mel’s Computer Care for several years and trust them implicitly to take care of my IT requirements when they arise. I am 82 years old and,basically,IT illiterate.
I have used Mels Computer Care for 6 years,having previously used a nationwide store which(in my opinion)became less & less customer friendly.
I used Mel's most recently on 18th February 2026 and given that I have used them numerous times for repairs,purchases(desktops & laptops)and frequent "how do I do this/what does this mean/why won't my computer work"i.e.everything associated with computers(whilst not selling them,they do also assist with mobile phone and TV queries) it is time I posted a review.
Mel and his team are friendly,patient,helpful and have resolved all my (many!)problems and I can only say that I hold them in the highest regard and have no hesitation in recommending their services.
