They failed to deliver on the contract
They failed to deliver on the contract. They were supposed to match me with a resident in the field I was applying to. They were unable to do that. It was a complete breach of contract.
That part wasn't as bad as the fact that they think they are entitled to keep $250 for failure. They list rows and rows of residents as consultants, but many of those are not active with the company.
They also on their website only feature reviews from RaveCapture. Why? Because not everyone can review them. I found that out too. It allows them to cherry-pick, unlike TrustPilot, where anyone can review them.
Luckily I was able to get a contract with Inspira Advantage. I only mentioned them for those who, like me, really are looking for help with residency applications and to do mock interviews. It will help you get to a legitimate company that can actually help you (versus these people who think they are entitled to money when they didn't provide me with a single service of any kind).
This is the part you did *not* do:

You did not get anything in my intended specialty. You got people who were in other specialties that are in different departments altogether. You failed on the one mission that mattered, provided no service at all, and continue to gloss over the difference. Either you don't understand that they are different, or you choose to ignore it.
For example, neurosurgery and neurology both have "neuro" in the word, but they are not the same. This is the mistake you made, and the 3rd party is not in the medical field and likely lacks the technical understanding of why the difference matters.

Our agreement is to match clients with a qualified physician advisor in their intended specialty, which we did. Multiple advisors with relevant residency experience in your field were offered and available to work with you. While we always do our best to accommodate specific advisor preferences, availability can vary, and we cannot guarantee access to any one individual advisor. The advisors you requested were not available at that time, which was communicated clearly.
Despite this, we provided suitable alternatives who met the qualifications outlined in the service. At that point, you elected not to proceed and requested a refund, which we honored in accordance with our terms. As disclosed at the time of purchase, a standard 5% processing fee is retained to cover non-refundable payment processing costs.
Following this, the matter was escalated through a third-party dispute process on two separate occasions, both of which were reviewed independently and resolved in our favor based on the facts of the case.
We also want to address the claim regarding our advisors. All advisors listed are vetted physicians and residents, and while availability may fluctuate due to clinical responsibilities, they are active members of our network.
Lastly, regarding reviews, we use multiple platforms to gather feedback. RaveCapture is one of several tools we use to collect verified customer experiences, while platforms like Trustpilot are open forums. We do not restrict or prevent customers from sharing their experiences publicly.
