I ordered leeches from the company despite the kind of sketchy review, but decided to get three (the minimum that could live in a tank together, as they are a communal species). I ordered on June 30th (Tuesday), but since the company ships out on Mondays which is stated in the FAQ on the website, they waited till the next week (Monday, July 6th) to ship. I paid extra for the Guaranteed Live Arrival, which was about $65. They were shipped Priority USPS, so the shipment took until Friday the 10th to arrive, which is highly stressful because of the five days in transit. When I unboxed them I was worried that they would arrive dead, as the other review on Shop had stated, but all three arrived alive! Two of the three were a little worse for wear but have been recovering very well and look healthy. It took about a week for them to shed the mucous layer they developed from being in transit for 5 days, but they all are seeking heat and doing quite well. I'll still be waiting another week to feed them, just to help from the stress. The reason why I took a star away was the complete lack of customer service. I messaged multiple times, and got no response-but I have leeches alive and healthy despite that, so I'm happy. All in all, I will be ordering from them again if the need arises, but I will be ordering in the winter/spring so it is cooler for them while in transit for so long.

Medicalleeches.com and Leech.com is the same company.
The website promises shipment not mentioning the lockdown they experience.
When I ordered no confirmation email.
Then contacted the company.
She says: We can't deliver because of lockdown and she can put the order on hold.
I say NO! Pls cancel and returned the money. I get 20$ less refunded and she will not tell you why.
Then ordered from the other website not knowing that it is the same.
Again I email and say I need an email confirmation for my order.

She comes back and says: Why did you order again from us? I say: I couldn't tell it's the same company either the websites are saying anything about it.

She says: You are blocked! because you canceled with us the first time. I should pay $60 and she will unblock me.
I say: I should pay you $60 so you can unblock me (why did she anyway block me in the first stage she couldn't deliver)
and tell me that you cant deliver again?

NO answer of that from her.
Anyway, she transferred me back the money but again not the full amount this time $40 less than I actually transferred.

A very bad company I would not order from them either do any business. My bank has to deal with it now.
