McGuirks Golf Cork - FOTA Store has very helpful staff, is in a great location and has everything you need as a golfer.
Had a custom fitting with Ray today as I decided to change my 10 year old driver! - he found the perfect club for me and gained me 20 yards too :)

Daragh just brilliant, best service in a long time from anyone. I got my son fitted for clubs he was patient and knowledgeable. I now know why McGirks are so successful.
Well done.

I recently ordered a club online for my husband and it arrived within a day - brilliant service!

I bought a range finder that turned out to be crap. I sent an email and then a second to ask to send it back.
No answer. I find it not professional and not customer oriented. I’ll never buy something from them again.

Very poor customer service today in McGuirks blanchardstown 26/06/22 time17:45pm.
Served by a girl named Sarah.
Sarah asked my husband if he could pay with card instead of cash, when he replied that this was not possible he only had cash, she rolled her eyes as she had to wait to use the till beside hers, as the till she was using did not except cash payments.
She then abruptly told him to bring the irons over to her at the other scanning machine, not a please or thank you the whole time she served him or gave him back his change.
Very rude person!
I have a right mind to return the set of irons purchased and get them from another store the more i think of it!

I bought a golf bag online (for a gift) and when I went to collect it,I was presented with an item that looked like it was second hand. It was dirty, dusty and a bit battered and came without any packaging. I questioned the poor condition and was told 'it's a sale item'. It may have been on sale but it looked like an ex display model and certainly not in the condition a new golf bag should be in. Another staffer told me they remove all packaging when the items arrive to save on space and offered to get me a box. Which was absurd as I politely told him it would not altar the poor condition of the product. I was told if I wanted it in its packaging, I should have ordered it for delivery - which is bizarre! Never noticed their website stating that nor that sale items were in poor condition/possibly ex display models! I was very disappointed by the state of it and the responses given. Especially after wasting my time. I was then offered a credit note but I requested my money back. I subsequently bought the exact same one in Halpenny Golf, without any drama.

Top class service from Limerick office. Broke my SIM2 driver crown, went in and was replaced on site. Zero hassle and stress free, many thanks.

Booked a fitting for a putter in the Blanchardstown branch.I was taken by Shaun O’ Conner who was both patient and informative . The level of customer service I received of this gentleman was nothing short of exceptional. Well done Shaun and thanks again for your help will most definitely be back

I ordered a wedge from McGuirks on the 16th of October 2021. They took the money from my credit card and then some days later emailed me to say that the supplier would not have the chosen shaft until late December. I had no difficulty with that but then in early January I started emailing for an update on my order and despite 3 emails to them I have not received a reply and the 'customer service' phone number rings until it is answered by an answering machine which is full so you cannot leave a message. It is probably the worst customer service I have experienced in all of my online shopping. Their owners need to know what is going on, thus my review here.

McGuirks service rubbish waterproof trousers not so waterproof 20min and started to get wet . Customer service said return and they will inspect them to access if faulty . Will they have somebody stand in a shower . A yrs guarantee . Does that mean nothing anymore . Don't like the idea that I'll be called a liar because somebody else makes a decision that they don't leak no not customer service . Disappointed and upset

I have been a Mcgurks retail and on line customer for several years and have had great service all round . I recently had a question regarding an on line receipt The problem was quickly resolved but the whole experience was made simply by the patient and efficient help from Aileen at the Kinsale rd Cork branch even though it wasn’t her department she helped enormously so I thought I would like to compliment your service and friendly staff. I have been to Mcguirks in Howth many times and have nothing but praise for the staff who have always been extremely polite, helpful, attentive and very knowledgeable. The Lady staff member in particular has always been friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Keep up the good work.

I have been into mcguirks in howth twice in the last few weeks. The staff are the most unhelpful, unfriendly and completely rude. The first time I was there I had my two kids and we were followed around like potential criminals. The next time I had to exchange a top, the lady who served me was the rudest person I have ever met in a customer service role. I will make it my mission to ensure that everyone in the local area hears about my experience with Mcguirks. Very disappointing.

Haven't played golf in 20 years so I needed to get a new pair of shoes. I ordered a pair to suit but there was a slight problem, the stock count was incorrect. I got a call from a lovely girl from your online team and she explained the issue. She offered a different pair and delivered the next day. The strength of a company is when there is a problem it's how it is sorted out, and they did a great job. In this day and age of constant delays, shipping costs, Brexit and Covid, Mc Guirks did a super job.

First time purchasing from McGuirks online store. The item I purchased was delivered within two days. I noticed an issue with the item so I got in touch with the sales team. Adam was extremely helpful and resolved my issues by couriering out a replacement item to my home the next day. Overall great customer service and I would definitely purchase from the online store again.

Ordered a bag online but it never arrived. I chased and chased but they just ignored me. Eventually had to report it to PayPal and received a full refund.
Don’t make the same mistake I made, avoid.

Dealt with a lady by the name of Sinéad in the tennis section of McGuirks golf Kinsale road Cork. Ireland. Excellent member of staff. Very attentive to my needs and gave authoritative good advice and some tips. Highly recommend her. They have a huge golf section. If you couldn't get want you want, I can't see you getting anywhere else. Clothes, accessories, golf bags, etc — for both genders. Nice calm atmosphere in there. Not bad at all for prices and a huge price range. It depends on what you want — some items like drivers can be steep or very expensive, but again, it depends on what you want. The price range is extensive. I bought top of the range tennis shoes reasonably. The is a place set aside in the shop if you want to try out a putter. Price range one again is extensive.

The assistance I received from their Limerick outlet was second to none. Nigel was extremely helpful as were the other staff.
After ordering the new custom fit clubs, they were at my door within 48 hours.
Very impressive.

Placed my order 4 weeks ago and still haven't received anything. Have sent 7 emails to customer service and have only received one reply. Absolutely shocking customer service.

In the last 6 months, I have placed 2 online orders. In each case, I received a phone call days later informing me that the items were “out of stock”. This is despite the fact, they were online to be purchased, money was paid and the order was confirmed. It is quite clear that their online system is not fit for purpose. I have emailed the relevant customer service section provided on their website and have got no response.
