I used MaxSold to find items for my hobby. They had a very good website but the changed logo and since that day it is very hard to log in their website. I have to insert my username and password several times to finally get into my account. I send several e-mails but they don't know what to do so I give up. Regarding pickup, it is usually done by senior people and I didn't experience any issue related to pick up

Untrustworthy
Untrustworthy, treated disabled handicapped buyer with extreme disrespect at pick up time, yelling and flipping out over a slight issue with one of the six lots we purchased. We were told to Inform seller about the issue by MaxSold!! The site was NOT handicapped accessible, as required under Federal ADA Laws, so a lawsuit is pending against the sellers Loyal Helpers, LLC, Rochester NY and MaxSold Company LLC!!

Their site went down when all the auctions in my area were closing. Users were unable to login, see any of the auctions or bid. The next day, support said their site in fact had an issue, and "sorry for any inconvenience", but do nothing to right the wrong. The auctions should have been extended noting that a ton of folks were not able to even access the website. Instead, they let only a few users bid, prices were most likely lower for items, and they never sent a message out to the community. Both the bidders and sellers got screwed, and MaxSold is "sorry for any inconvenience". I will be using other sites moving forward as this one can not be trusted. Looking at other reviews, this is evidently an on-going issue which the company will not address.
BEWARE MaxSold
BEWARE! MaxSold has been having website issues for months and are not doing anything about it. They advertise an open auction (bidding continues until it stops) however, this in NOT the case. The auctions typically end approx 10 minutes before the scheduled time and you are not able to place a bid or change your bid. This is bad for both sellers and buyers because if you get outbid on an item within the last 10 minutes, you have no way of increasing your bid (or placing a bid if you have not done so). In my case (more than once), I have been notified that I have won an item, only to "refresh" my screen and find out that I was outbid. MaxSold's response - keep refreshing your screen. HOW RIDICULOUS! This is actually criminal for sellers because they are not getting what they could for the items that they are selling. MaxSold is hired to do a job that THEY ARE NOT DOING - items are not getting sold for top value due to this glitch in their website. They have been aware for MONTHS but have not fixed the issue. BUYERS AND SELLERS BEWARE!

God forbid you ever get a misrepresented item or have an emergency and miss the pickup time or anything else goes wrong. They will not help. No refunds, they won't reach out to the seller for you, nothing. Their only advice is to "bid with caution". Scammers, thieves, robbers.

Do not recommend buying anything you cant test onsite. Customer service is awful, broken products being misrepresented.
Purchased a hot tub and the pump leaks, and bunch of the jets do not work. I called to verify with a Maxsold agent on how can I test this product onsite before picking the unit up, and they stated it would be fine to test the hot tub at home.
Story changes after I reported the unit did not work as listed "Working Condition" , The MAXSOLD team stated I would have to test onsite to be eligible for a refund, so i responded to that email stating there own employee informed me I can test at home due to the circumstance of it being a hot tub, even offered to take videos of the hot tub leaking and not working properly. I have not received a response in 4 business days now.

I have been working with them for more than a year, despite the fact that everyone pays a large commission, they do not employ competent employees (and often random people) to issue winning lots. Recently I was not given one expensive lot (I had a lot of them). On the same day I contacted the support service and was told that I would not be able to receive my item; it was already lost.
It's not bad, but it's not super either.....
My assessment of this company's services is average. The service was standard and didn't stand out in any particular way. The staff were polite. The quality of services met expectations but didn't leave a strong impression. Overall, it's an okay service, but there is room for improvement.

THERE WAS A YOUNG MAN WALKING AROUND ASKING PEOPLE IF THEY WAS THERE FOR PICKUP , I TOLD HIM MY NAME HE LOOK AND TOLD ME I HADE TO COME BACK TOMORROW AND HE WAS RUDE.. BUT HE DID LET OTHER'S BUYERS WHO PICKUP WAS TOMORROW PICK THERE UP TODAY,, I SPENT 2 HOURS ON THE ROAD PLUS GAS AND MY TIME JUST A LOT OF BS FROM MAXSOLD.. I've been buying on maxsold for several months now. I am very unhappy and angry with their work. During this time they managed to lose 5 of my items!!! Not 1 or 2, but 5! This is very unpleasant and terrible. You come to pick it up and suddenly they have lost something. I spend time and money on gas. Of course, they return money for things, and they think that this is enough, but I don't think so... There should be some other compensation. I don't think that this is a good business, you can't treat your customers like That.

Bunch of dishonest sellers selling fake damaged items with written descriptions that do not tell the truth. Refund policy is impossible to use and even if seller keeps the items and fills out a return slip at the auction pickup, you will never get you money from Max Sold and I am now out over $460.00 plus the gas wasted driving to get the miss represented items, and the hours wasted on the phone and email with Max Sold staff trying with no luck to get a refund.

Don’t Do It!
Basically, if they take $300 % , you will end up owing them…much better for buyers, than sellers…especially if the bid is low but, you, the seller, will end up getting some items removed but, the end result for you is near nothing or you owe them, which is ridiculous …have a weekend yard sale and be in charge of what & where you want to sell items…the price line for their »effort » , is not worth the time financially or mentally…and the end result is not pleasant

In today's environment I, along with many other people, would hope Maxsold would remain non-political, non-woke in what they feel is needed to be displayed on their website and in the display of their name. Many people just want to use the site for purchasing items and don't want an agenda pushed on them. It's a sure way to lose users. Just be a business, not a partisan agitator. Thanks
Poor service
Poor service. The instructions on their website for the pick up at this auction directs you to pull down large driveway, to load items, then pull down and turn around at the end to pull out. Which if they followed their instructions would have been great. Instead they blocked the driveway entrance with cones, the woman with maxsold shirt direct you to park on the street, which is a no Parking & no Standing zone on one side of the driveway and a NJ transit bus stop. Then you have to walk down the long drive and have to make numerous trips back an forth to get the stuff to your car. Meanwhile the large, wide drive down to the pick up location is empty! They scheduled people 1 minute apart, it was a large auction probably over 300 lots, with lots of items per lot, so it was like a zoo picking up with so many people. A big mess, WITH NO ONE FROM MAXSOLD DIRECTING, they just stood around, one Neighbor came out to ask me what was going on because a car pulled in behind mine blocking his driveway. Poor, totally disorganized. To think that seller paid at least 1250 plus 30% commission to have that mess going on. I wonder if anyone got a parking ticket? If they did, since maxsold told people to park there, would they pay it? I doubt it.
