I had to print 300+ photos and went to the Bristol store and they down loaded them from a stick and price them at over £200, no chace to get a 5 day price , and the photos were printed over night and I had to pick them up the following day
I had expected to pay a much lower price based on web site which quotes 9p each
a poor service, will I go again ???

The assistant in the shop was incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Had to give one star but i didnt want too. Had 3 family members passport taken by Tracey and all three failed also with a rubbush attitude when i spoke with her.
Not a happy person.
Im still awaiting a promised refund for 3 passports its now 02/08/2026

Walked into the store in Perth at 16.10 to ask about the apply & go service and to get my passport renewed, which I had with me. The store closes at 17.30. When I asked the assistant and showed my passport, he got straight to the point and said "I would suggest you come in earlier". My response "that's fine" and I walked out.

Very bad customer service. I went to take a photo with my three kids, but SHE said the camera battery was DEAD. I was happy to wait 10 minutes, but SHE seemed unhappy. Very disappointing. I would recommend using another shop.

For a very long time now, I've been a regular customer of Lindsey and Emily's shop. Over the years their invaluable advice, expertise and judgement, always willingly and politely given, has helped bring out the best in my photos.
I admire their knowledge of the wide range of services provided by Max Spielmann. It is always pleasantly, expertly, as well as professionally given, teamwork being the key for all who come into their shop. I see them genuinely care about each customer who may, for example, want a photo taking. Lindsey and Emily use their infinite patience and attention to detail to produce the very best picture, showing attention to detail in a friendly and personable way.
It isn't just a job in a shop for Lindsey and Emily, it's a vocation. It's a joy to come and see these two special ladies, which is why I enjoy my each and every visit, and come away smiling.

I just want to give a big shout out to Kath at the Morley, Leeds branch for going over and above with helping me with a photo. She's amazing, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I wish more shops had a Kath. She's a credit to your company.

Ordered a large canvas print for same day collection. Have to say i am pretty dissapointed with the assembly quality. The canvas is really slack on the frame and as such its wrinkled and looks terrible. Not the beautiful gift i had hoped it would be, and i very much now wish that i had gone for a normal print and a nice frame .

Today I visited Skegness, Max Spielman and was served by Kirsty .
I was so impressed by her excellent customer service. She was friendly and really knowledgable in taking an ordinary photo from my phone and making it into one of excellence.
Not stopping there she put the photo into the frame ( something I hate doing) without being asked.
It’s hanging on our wall and we’re so impressed with it.
Also a word about Joe the manager. I’ve been in here a few times and he’s friendly and has great practical knowledge.
Together they make a great team.

Claire at Asda Oadby was brilliant. Very efficient with a great personality.

I recently visited the Spondon branch (Store 3726) of Max Spielmann to have passport photos taken for my 2.5-month-old daughter. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.
The staff member, Becca, made a remark that I found extremely rude and unprofessional: "I cannot do much if you do not like your baby’s face." As a parent, I expected patience and understanding, especially with a young child. To make matters worse, after I questioned this comment, she refused to continue serving me, leaving me without the service I came for.
Additionally, I was concerned about hygiene standards. The changing mat used to place my baby was not cleaned prior to use and was dusty, which is concerning given how delicate young babies are.
I hope my feedback helps improve the service for others. I would not recommend this branch based on my experience.

Visited the Asda Store, Bridge Centre, Portsmouth today. The staff member Toni, was just fantastic. He was working alone and he had 4 customers including myself waiting for various different printing. He kept eye contact with to all of us, explained what he was doing the whole time, he was totally in control and thoroughly pleasant throughout. This team member is a credit to your company.

I have used the order online, collect from kiosk 3 times now and it has failed twice. Also nowhere i saw informed you that if the kiosk you select is out of order (as happened me first time) you can use another - in sheer desperation for handing in a report we tried that and luckily it worked. However today it didnt work in two places - shoddy and stressful. Also absolutely no recourse at weekends

I visited Max Spielmann in their Minworth store. The assistant Elise was so helpful and friendly that I will not hesitate in using this store for all future printing requirements.

Just want to say after the first attempt where things went a bit wrong and we got a little bit upset, they have been absolutely amazing at sorting it out. We came in today to redo our photoshoot with jack and from start to finish it was amazing he didn't rush us he engaged with my daughter to get her to look at the camera and he talked about out options in detail. we will 100% be using them again after this. If you ever want a photoshoot doing I do recommend coming here and asking for Jack.
