Mavis Tire - Rahway Omdömen 6

I had a very disappointing experience with Mavis Tire on St. George Ave in Rahway. I purchased tires from them with the expectation that the warranty they sold me would actually be honored if something went wrong. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case at all.

When I brought my vehicle back in for an issue that should have clearly been covered under the warranty, I was told I still had to pay for labor. That completely defeats the purpose of paying extra for coverage in the first place. A warranty should provide peace of mind—not surprise charges and fine-print loopholes.

What made the situation worse was dealing with their corporate office. Instead of resolving the issue or standing behind their service, they were just as unhelpful and seemed more interested in collecting additional money than honoring their commitments to customers.

Overall, this experience felt misleading and frustrating. If you’re considering buying tires here, I strongly recommend thinking twice. A warranty that doesn’t actually protect you isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. Stay away if you expect honest service and accountability.

I only give it one star cause thats as low as I can go. Went there earlier in the year to have 4 tire sensors replaced on my Toyota sienna and they charge me $65 each. Just went there to have two more replaced on another vehicle and they jacked the price up to 129 a piece. Showed them my receipt from the last service and he said we can’t modify the price. It is what it is. Total rip off!!!

Just to update contacted their Customer Solutions center and they were of no help either other than saying sorry about the increase. Went to a local shop near me and the part is $20 and he installed and configured it for $70 total. That included unmount to install sensor, Remount and balance tire and programming. You can also buy the parts on Amazon for $25. SO SHOP AROUND! Mavis is ripping you off!!!!

To whom it may concern and whoever is overlooking these reviews. I want to thank your worker aCheikh at your Rahway location Mavis store. I came here many times at this location I should have been coming a long time ago. aCheikh has been very kind courteous polite and knowledgeable I've had a wheel alignment problem for a long time with my Chrysler 300 even when I had I wheel alignment the steering wheel was always a little crooked I had my front end suspension fixed my alignment is straight after all of these months it's been over a year not even Chrysler Dealership with their heavy duty Wheel alignment machine was able to align my car now that's sad and then the dealership wants to charge you there ridiculous price I drive close to 2 hours a day crossing major highways working. Thanks for keeping me in my car safe thanks aCeikh for doing outstanding work and thanks to mechanics as well don't ever change E. Hall

I went in this morning(Rahway NJ) needing a new tire. I was greeted by the store manager Derrick. I gave him my order number and was able to accommodate me with a better tire at the same cost. This is why i come here for my oil change and tires and alot more. Thanks guys for caring and i appreciate all that you do for me and taking care of my car Thanks.

Please keep Derrick as a store manager he's the best manager since i have been shopping at the Rahway location thanks. I also went in and purchased a second tire to be put on the very next day for which Derrick had to order and that went great thanks again.

As always, I had a great experience today when I stopped in to Mavis Discount Tire on St. Georges avenue. The Mavis team are extremely professional and had me in/out in no time. I Thank you Gentlemen once again on getting me on my way in no time at all!!.
Will definitely recommend Mavis to all my friends and family for their automotive needs.
