Appointment Means Nothing Here — Long Wait and Dirty Car

I’ve been a loyal customer, but after this experience, Mavis Tire has lost a reliable customer.
I had a 9:00 AM appointment on April 25, 2026 for a state inspection and oil change. When I arrived, the front desk said they were “a little behind,” which I understood. However, my vehicle didn’t even get into the shop until around 9:30 AM, and what should have been a routine service wasn’t completed until 11:34 AM.
At 11:15 AM, when my car was pulled out, I asked if they had reset the inspection light on my dashboard, only to be told no one had done it, and they had to find someone who knew how to reset it. That caused even more delay.
The worst part was getting into my car and finding grease all over the driver’s door, passenger seat, and armrest. This is the second time I’ve had my car returned with grease all over the interior, which is unacceptable.
If you’re pressed for time, have an appointment, or care about your vehicle being returned clean, I do not recommend this garage. Poor time management, lack of attention to detail, and repeated issues with leaving grease inside customers’ vehicles have made me take my business elsewhere.
