Mavis Tire - Abington Omdömen 23

I had an appointment scheduled for 9am for a tire replacement and oil change. When I arrived I could tell it was busy - I watched multiple individuals come in and attempt to see if they could have work done without an appointment - the man behind the desk, Richard (perfectly nice) kept explaining that they were really busy and their vehicle may not be gotten to until the next day - I felt relieved I scheduled an appointment. Finally, at 11:30am, I waited in line and asked for my appointment to be cancelled and for my keys back. Richard seemed surprised, and asked what was wrong. I explained to him that I had been waiting for 2 and a half hours, and my car was still in the parking lot untouched. He apologized and went to the garage bay where I could plainly see a group of 5 guys who were not working on any vehicles and seemed to be having some sort of huddle. Richard came back with my keys and said that they could pull it into the garage now and it could be done in thirty minutes - I asked him to clarify if it would be done in thirty minutes or if they would start it in thirty minutes - he thought about it and said maybe forty five minutes. I declined and asked for my keys. Richard apologized again and explained they had a lot of online appointments scheduled with no time frame, and that everyone showed up at once - I told him it wasn’t his fault and left. Being held for 2 and a half hours without any communication, without my car even being touched, when I had a time confirmed appointment, is literal insanity. I’ve been to many other Mavis locations across multiple states, and never in my life have I waited this long. I would not bother with this location. I really thought about staying and just getting it done (I needed it done!) but when I looked around the waiting area I knew it was time to go - the floors were dirty, there was a dead fly in the window sill, and there was a guy that was there before me who was also still waiting. This location clearly doesn’t care about people who have every intention of spending their money - I’ll spend it somewhere that doesn’t hold me hostage, thanks.

Second time here and the customer service is so good. They ask all the right questions and really try and take care of the customer. It's not pricey so I'll keep coming back.

My tire kept losing air and so I brought my car in first thing in the morning. They found the leak, plugged it, checked that it held and had me out in less than 30 minutes! Always great and efficient service when I go!
